I don't want to spend a fortune on headphones, but would like something of reasonable quality and fit. I picked up some Senheiser HD408 headphones for $50 at futureshop. I have not opened them yet, but am going to see if I can get any good feedback on an alternative before opening them.
Please keep any suggestions below $100. There has to be some good 'bang for the buck' headsets out there.
Thanks!
Rob
I use a set of Motorola S10-HD bluetooth headphones and they work pretty well. Sound quality is good, they are really light and small, rechargeable and they are sweat proof so I can wear them when I workout (cause we all know how important it is to maintain ones figure). My only real complaint is that I have a huge melon head so the headband, which is a behind the head design, kinda pinches on the sides which after about an hour starts to kinda annoy. Other than that, which is more a personal design flaw than anything manufacturer related, I really like them. I think I paid like 60 bucks for them, so they are semi-reasonable.
JVC Flats. Walmart. Multiple colors. $15 or less.
Seriously, these are hands down the BEST headphones I have ever owned. The bass is BEAUTifUL...crystal clear sound, an unbelievable bargain for the sound quality you can get.
The earpieces are leatherish, cushy, and set nicely against my ears. If/when these ever break, they will be replaced with another pair.
My only negative comment about them?...they don't come in green.
Mk
i love my Aeriel 7's
Loud, crystal clear, booming bass. 50-60% volume is all my brain can handle on these (and I like it loud)

This was a tough choice given all the different kinds of headphones and pricing all over the place. I decided that I wanted something 'mobile' so big, bulky headsets were not the answer. I am not fond of earbuds, but decided to give them a try since they would meet the portability needs.
I picked these up:
http://www.klipsch.com/image-s4-black-in-ear-headphones
It takes a while getting used to them fitting in your ear, but the sound is simply incredible! The only thing I don't like is that the male plug is not L shaped and the wiring feels a bit too flimsy.
Rob
I have Motorola so HD had them over a year and still like new. I think there is a HD 10 verson out
Check out the reviews and measurements at Headroom, headphone.com. Good recs at several price ranges

I will second the S4's. I have a pair of the S4I's, (used to have an iPhone) and you cannot beat the sound quality you get for the price. They are top notch, very comfortable, once you get the right fit, and I have 0 complaints on them.
The wiring is thin and feels flimsy but I have yet to have any issues with them. I've had them for maybe 10 months now. If you want to go more "rugged" they have the S5's which are the same thing only built to withstand more.
I keep going back to Sony's sub 20-dollar earbuds in the roll up case.
MDR-E828LP
Cheap as dirt, but astoundingly good sound.
Very open with excellent bass.
I keep trying "nicer" earbuds and keep coming back to these for the sound.
I have a set of Sony noise canceling ones that are excellent, they are available on Amazon.

Dre Beats!
I got a pair of the tour beats from www.booksuppliesplus.com. Love em. Best headphones I've ever had...and only $50...can't beat em.
V-Moda Bass Freq headphones. $12 shipped on eBay. They provide huge bass, great sound quality and block out a ton of outside noise. I've had a half dozen pairs since discovering them back in 07. Been the only thing I've used since then. Highly recommended!
I know you don't want to spend this much but when it comes to head phones you get what you pay for.
I bought a pair of Bose head phones 3 years ago for $130 and I use them everyday of my life during my job for about 4 hours. There super clear and have a very balanced bass but can be picked up greatly!
Just think about it. $50 now, then in a few months another because they were blown and so on or $130 for the next 4-5 years. Mine are in perfect condition and have no crakling even after the abuse I put them through.
Go to best buy or any place that has them on display and try them out, not the noise canceling ones though there $300! Also never buy headphones before you buy them.

I've had several pairs of these And I really like them. I'm surprised they still remain the best bang for the buck. I'd have figured something would have dethroned them by now.
I have a set of Audio Technica ATH-AD700's, but they do look pretty ridiculous. Good thing I'm too distracted by the awesome sound stage to care ^_^
Skullcandy Skullcrushers
If you like bass then these are for you they have in ear subwoofers I have a pair and love them I got them for around 40 on eBay... all of my buddies like them better than dress.... they don't sound leak so other people arnt bothered by your loud music the noise canceling is great I mow the lawn with them

Or you can do what I did, buy them for $20 at a garage sale. Brand new unopened package. I know, I got lucky.
Seriously though, the sound quality of these headphones is amazing. The other thing is that there is almost zero sound leaking. At full blast, people around you won't even notice.

ALL EXCELLENT CANS and BUDS!!
Not sure I am allowed to post link to exterior destination, but head-fi.org is a better place to ask and headphone.com is a good place for info, not buy though since they're price is high.
Right now I'm using the Sennheiser MX580 as open earbuds and Etymotic HF3 as in ear monitors, both have excellent clarity. Both of this brand hav3 many choices at diff price though. Beside Sennheiser and Etymotic, you should also look at AKG and Beyer Dynamic, they are all professional brands for audio productions.
If you want an earbud with lots of bass just get the Palm Pre headset which cost $2, better than most $20-30 ones you find at regular stores.

You cannot go wrong with Sennheiser gear - but I suggest Aerial7 gear personally. Either way you are going to get some quality equipment.
Aerial7 gear = http://www.aerial7.com/ -- been a user of their hardware for ten years now - I would recommend their gear to anyone looking for pure 100% win.
Well basically my mom got some cloths to wash and my Note 3 headphones were inside a pocket of my coat... Now they work but with extreme low volume lol.
What do you guys think? Better to let them dry or better think on buying new ones? The headphones I'm talking about are these:
http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/mobile-devices/smartphones/smartphone-accessories/EO-HS1303BEGWW
I'm on my 4th headphones... :/
let them dry and see. But I do not like the sound quality at all. Do not buy samsung headphones again!
Dude the Sennheiser HD201 are like 20 Euros on Amazon. Just buy those and get ready to be amazed. The in-ear alternative are the Xiaomi Pistons v2.1 for the same price.
Good luck!
Leave them to dry for a few days (bowl of rice!)
Personally I can't use the Samsung earphones. The plastic part is much, much bigger than my ear canal, 10 seconds and it's unbearably painful. (as pushes against the bone) Those things were NOT designed for female ears. (ditto for the S5 ones...).
I prefer my AKG Y 23U Black earphones. Tiny, tiny, very light earphones with brilliant sounding 5.8mm drivers. Alright, 50 quid, but absolutely fantastic sound and extremely comfortable.

That's kind of like asking for a suggestion for good food. There are thousands of headphones/ earphones/earbuds/etc.
What is your budget?
Headphones? Over the ear? On the ear?
Earphones?
Earbuds?
Optimized for flatness or emphasized on the bass or treble?
Waterproof? Sweatproof?
Noise cancelling?
Open or Closed back?
Custom or Universal fit?
Haven't heard anything about LG having good cans or buds. Even their expensive ones. I have the JBL tones expecting they'd be decent for music. Glad I only paid $60 and my company reimbursed me for Bluetooth headset. They're terrible for music. Only use them for extended calls as the isolation is built in from the buds and they're wireless and barely not around my neck. Wish they noise cancellation, and good noise cancellation because many product have poor noise cancellation and the isolation isn't great in loud environments. I wish Wolfson still sold their digital silence wired ear buds. Those are pretty good. And who knows Jawbone's future. They're broke.
If you want good cans or buds, I recommend beyerdynamic, Shure or Sennheiser in any order. There are some other good brands but it is usually limited to the high end stuff, like >$200. There also some bargains to found with lower end stuff though build quality or some other function might be compromised. You could also look around the DIY mod scene and see what cans or buds fit your budget and get better with cheap or free modifications.
Mine just shipped. I was number 3335. Once I get them I'll do a review if someone hasn't.
Mine also shipped

The LG Quadbeat 3 AKG version that came with the V10 in certain countries weren't bad according to what I've read about them.
Not sure exactly which earphones came with yours...does it have a model or a name?
Headphones/IEMs are very subjective to the individual and can't really be recommended unless more detailed information about what type you are looking for...
What type of music, where you will be using them and price.
With IEMs, the type of earphone tips are also very important regarding fit.
There is an abundance of headphones/IEMs to choose and need to be narrowed down.

The quadbeat 3 tuned by AKG isn't bad, haven't compared it to the supplied out of the box B&O (not referring to the H3).
TBH, I haven't even used any of the IEM that comes with the phone, the only IEM i'ved used is listed in my sig.

Place a piece of electrical tape over the vents.
This will increase and tighten the sub to mid bass without any sacrifice to the mids and highs.
Easy mod to remove if it isn't your cup of tea.

Thanks, not really into extra bass, just like the music naturally, with no mod, EQ is normally turned off on the phone and if I use my ZX2 I have everything turned off.
These things are incredible.
Used TIDAL Hi-Fi and on the EQ, turned up the 32hz lowest bass level all the way up. Incredible.
Much lighter than the beats that came with my HTC M7, but I haven't compared sound yet.
For me personally I don't like them at all I got used to using Bluetooth headphones and haven't been back since I'm not very happy with the included headphones so I went out and bought a Bluetooth Beats Solo 3 set and like those a lot. I got the over-the-ear kind .

In my opinion they are way better than any beats headphones ive tried (Thats not saying much) I like them! But if it would have meant that the phone was 100 cheaper (or even 30$) if they didnt include them, that would have been nice.
Beats???seriously??

Very awkward shape and I don't like that they suction your ears so you literally can't hear anything outside.
they're good for bundled headphones. they sound comparable to $40-50 earbuds, definitely not the $99 that samsung claims they're worth.
They're better than I expected, but my $100 SE215s still blow them out of the water, so I wouldn't really call them anything near high end.

I still like Samsung's headphones from last year where it fit well but you could at least hear some of the outside world. Apple's earpods are decent too.
To me it's more about comfort and usability than quality. I have VMODA M100's for quality.
They are verry good. Plugged them into my pc...nice sound and loud. Verry dissapointed when im using yhem on my s8... Samsung did a poor job this year with the amplifier on this phone. Low bass...low volume. Htc M One and M8 are still the best phones for ppl that enjoy music on the go.
Coming from the Apple earpods, the AKG are just amazing.
The sound is better and the isolation is a killer compared to the earpods.
After personalizing the audio with Adapt Sound, and increasing the bass in the EQ, these headphones sound amazing.
I was pleasantly surprised by the AKG headphones. I've always been overly-attached to my BassBuds, but I could easily see myself using the AKG ones instead...especially as my kids love the BassBuds too and keep nicking off with them.
The sound isn't too bad, and I like the grey colour scheme. I find them a bit heavy on the bass right out of the box, but that works well when trying to ignore children. My only complaint would be that I don't find they sit in my ears very well. It is the main reason I love my BassBuds, they are comfortable and never fall out. I am doing a test run with the AKG headphones over the next week or so to see if they fall out.
Really uncomfortable for me. Even with larger tips, the bulky outside part is too close and actually hurts my ear. And sound was pretty meh. I am using Sennheiser Momentum earbuds at the moment. I have different set of issues with them (eartips fall out if you as much as look funny at them), but sound and comfort are great.
it is better than earphones came with previous Samsung phones, iPhone stock earphone, but you would get much better below 20 bucks earphone from Aliexrepss, especially Rock Zircon which is 12 bucks only.

it's quite the opposite for me.
they have a very weak sound for me because even with the largest size cover they don't seal properly.
i can get them to seal properly by wearing them upside down, but that starts to hurt after a while.
it's a shame they stopped with the regular earbuds with a "mouth"
they could get full sound without requiring a perfect seal and without putting pressure on my ears.

I'm looking for good sound wireless charging noise Canceling and great fit and comfortable and usb c .... I was about to order earfun which cost less than 50 bucks with some good reviews .. Any good suggestions thanks
I am also looking for affordable one. I am more interested in Apple Airpods like Ear tip, not the rubber type, that hurts. Also bass is important.
You can't have airpod tip and get bass. To get bass you need isolation. Not rubber tip isolation. You will have to buy comply foam ear tips. Trust me when I say it makes a world of difference.
I got the galaxy buds with the free 150 credit for preordering.
They sound good for me and I'm hard at hearing things on the daily lol
Havnt tried talking with them, cause I didnt use buds or headphones for that matter to talk to people.
I just wish the note had an equalizer equal to when I had the S7 edge, I loved using the concert/hall reverb settings on some songs.

I have the gear iconX from 2018. While they are useful because they're small, long battery life, build quality, etc... they are not flawless.
The sound is OK but cannot compete with the included wired AKG headphones that come with note 10+. I believe that the galaxy buds are kind of same, maybe a little better with AKG technology but still these toys are small and i do not trust them for pleasing "audiophiles" kind of people.
I use the included AKG right now because they are just much better than the iconX. Only keep the iconX when i need to be free (in the garden or when running, or when walking in the street because of the ambiant sound feature etc).
If i ever look for good headphones i will probably check large ones, supra phones like Bose QC35 II which is probably one of the best wireless headsets i ever tested.

modern day problem, wires.. how did we reach this level surprises me...
Anker sound buds. Long battery life! 12h! Extremely long range and sound is awesome! Not completely wireless but great nonetheless
I bought a pair of Samsung Gear buds full price with the credit for $130.
3 days ago I was searching Facebook Marketplace and found a brand new pair in box sealed for $60.
Check Letgo, CL and FB Marketplace!
Galaxy buds are good compromise for me.. I've had few low price buds (30-80 dollars) and powerbeats 3.. Powerbeats were great, I used them for 2 years, then I lost them, maybe sound was very synthetic.. That low cost buds were good.. Sound quality 6/10, battery life 7/10, but connection quality was poor. But also galaxy buds are not perfect... Charge box battery is not a good, problem with right bud after few weeks of using (lower volume in right bud, louder in the left one), but) then I pissed of and went back to the store and ofc. they worked perfect, so I was looking like a idiot). But it doesn't matter you know.. Every ear buds have + and -
Jabra 75t are pretty good almost 8 hrs on a single charge use them while I'm working they are just like the 65t but redesigned
I'm seriously impressed with the Samsung Galaxy Buds. Sure there are some buds out there that will sound better and have some other unique features but these things just simply work, always work, either bud 1 at a time, great range and quality, and are comfortable. I've had about 5 other brands and these are my favorite so far.
I'm not going to lie I lovey Powerbeats pro completely wireless and the sound is great with the note however I hate having to use the iPhone charging cord
I`ve got the Hyphens as a early bird (so at good value), but they are still not too expensive. They are really great at sound, bass and wearing comfort. I wouldn`t get any other ones at the moment.

My original Samsung bud, the left one - 3 weeks old - , died, so while out for warranty servicing, I purchased a spare wireless set from Wish. They arrived 2 days ago and I tested them... very decent quality for the price. It costed me CAD$22. The case is also a backup battery - 3,000 mAH that charges your phone if need be - it has a USB-A port. The L and R buds are pairing together and can be used alternatively, The airtime is about 4 hours, they say - I have not tested them. I ahave also noticed that Amazon has a few decent ones for under $50.
Creative Outlier Air! Outstanding!
