So I have been watching videos etc. while waiting for my Nexus 7 to get here. I am seeing some with a white back and some with a black back? I never saw a choice of color when I ordered. Why are there 2 different colors?
..Gromet
The white back version was given to people at Google IO.
The black back version is what you ordered.
I got the brown one from GameStop, I didn't have a choice, nor did we know there was a choice. Never the less I would have chosen brown..

Bestbuy lists it as Dark Titanium, and has pictures of the back of it. I think it looks pretty awesome.
Let me give you some help...
Here is the new "Dark Titanium" back:

Ha, they just changed the back picture. The Verizon wireless tag shouldn't be there on the wifi version front either.
Just an update to those who have not seen the Xoom Wifi in person; the grey is the same shade of grey that is used for the metal on the Nexus One.
I heard best buy is selling the titanium and staples is selling the black........ not sure if it's true or not

Not true...
good to know, thanks!
Not necessarily true.. but there are some who have claimed they got a Wifi-only with a Black back (no titanium color at all). Interesting.
Just read this article and thought I'd give those waiting for a 'cheap' white Galaxy Note a heads up:
http://sammyhub.com/2011/11/22/sams...axy-devices-in-germany-including-galaxy-note/
Out in time for Christmas...so hopefully in a few weeks time?
Prices will be the same as the blue/black Note.
I for one have been waiting for the white version from amazon.de as it is cheaper than UK variants.
yay

On SGS2 I think black looks better on SGN white looks way better!
The white one is cheaper than the black? How racist.
Oh well, the black ones a better colour anyway...
I have just noticed on my Note 4 that there seems to be a very thin black line going around the 4 edges of the screen, almost appearing like a very thin frame that the home screen sits in. Is this normal? I have never owned a Samsung phone before so not sure...
Thanks for any responses.
Is it a white model? The white model will show the black frame more obvious. It's normal.

Yep it's the white one. Thanks for the reply. Took 2 weeks for me to notice it, and now I can't stop noticing it lol.

I know it may sound too obvious, but why don't you just exchange it? No software tweaking will fix this, you would make your screen look blueish instead of yellow :/
Install screen adjuster free and set the blue to 8 or 10 or 12 or whatever you want
I didn't think I could get dead pixel on AMOLED..
I'm not sure what it is, but I got this black "dot/line" under the nav bar.
Anyway, my screen is gr

eat in any way so I'm wondering if it's worth it to ask for replacement of the screen. I might ending up with a screen with a lot of yellow tint also, something I don't have now.
I got a mail from the store I bought it from that says they can replace the screen under warranty if they see the "spot".
Would you care about it? See pictures..
