Could I ask a few of you guys do me a favor and try testing out some live wallpapers for me? I installed this live wallpaper and loved the way that it looked. The only problem I was having with it, was that whenever I power off my screen while at the home screen, the system hangs and the screen does not immediately shut off. Sometimes it can take as long as 30 seconds for the screen to shut down.
Initially I was using the stripped Verizon ROM and figured it could have something to do with that, so I went back to full stock and it was still doing the same thing. It's not just that live wallpaper either. Using just about any live wallpaper that is a little graphics intensive causes the issue. I have my screen locked with a pattern, but I doubt that has anything to do with it. If I use a normal wallpaper, the problem does not occur, just live wallpaper.
I don't know exactly what could be causing it or if the phone is just that way by design. I have that same live wallpaper installed on my Dinc and the issue is non-existent. It's not really a big deal, as I have some pretty sweet wallpaper pictures. But the animated leaves look sooooo good.

Im having a small problem id like to get some help with. After the update my wallpapers dont seem to be "panoramic" anymore....
Where as before i could "crop" large sized images without any problems, and they would move when u swiped the screen, i can no longer do so and the backround images on the phone appear to be static (backrounds dont move when u swipe). This probelm seem to there regardless of a pictures resolution
I don't have this problem. Is there a setting that turns that function off?
Seem to be a Panda home thing for some reason.....
Works fine for me too, although I have struggled trying to find a decent Nike Swoosh wp that sits dead centre of the home screen, anyone?
Hi there,
Since Samsung released their latest firmware update, my live wallpaper 'ocean waves' (which I really love) keeps getting 'messed up'. The issue is that when I go into an application and come back to the home screen, the ocean wallpaper has shrunk into the middle of the screen, leaving black space filling most of the screen. Also, before the update, when you touched the 'water', it would ripple slowly and it looked great. Now when you touch it, it bounces like jelly and looks a bit 'glitchy'. It's almost like the framerate is too high now or something.
If anyone has the same problem, let me know. Also if anyone has a solution, pleeeease let me know. I really love this wallpaper!
I have the same (on JM2). Only after running specific applications the wallpaper gets messy (like bar-code scanner). For me it helps, when the wallpaper is shrunk, to run the camera app and close it again.. Not ideal obviously, but at least I don't have to reboot..
Just thought I would give a quick tip here for those that have not tried it...
You can change the background of the home screen by going to setting (system>advanced) and selecting Display then Wallpaper and hit live wallpaper.
There are some of the basic android live wallpapers on it by default. So we don not have to look at the less then attractive default background now.
Also a quick tip. May be brought up before but hitting the Center button on the controller is the same as hitting the menu button on any android device. Useful if you find yourself trying out some side loaded apks.

Changed after update?
This doesn't seem to be working after this last update. Has anyone found a workaround? Thanks.
I noticed that as well. Sad they knocked that out in the update. I liked the live wallpapers.

I was glad to see that in KitKat they changed the wallpaper setter to simply set the wallpaper to full-screen without scrolling if you pick one that's the right resolution, e.g. 2560x1600. So you can see the entire picture, without using a separate app to set it. Unfortunately, it seems they couldn't even get this right. It sets fine initially, but after some time passes, the wallpaper randomly becomes zoomed in/cropped like it would have in the past. Setting it again fixes it, but only for awhile.
Does anyone have any insights into what's going on here?
