Hey guys,
Not sure if that's the correct Forum to post this thread, so please let me know if I got it wrong.
Basically I jumped to the stock ICS ROM for the 7.7" Tab, and was wondering how can I get Arabic support for the stock Samsung keyboard. All aftermarket keyboards are not actually to my liking and I quickly got bored of them all They're impractical at all.
My device is rooted and ready for any action
Please let me know your thoughts guys.
Thanks

Use "Go Keyboard" and install "Arabic for Go Keyboard" from market.
You can use ICS keyboard from market or swiftkey for tablets
Thanks guys.
Go keybaord is too crowded for me, Swift on the other hand looks promising though

I remember there was some method a long time ago that required rooting. Anyone?
Thanks

Hi, the Galaxy Tab was released in Italy today and it is shipped with TouchWiz. Hope there is news for the rest of us, soon. My first impression is that it is much faster than people have expected TouchWiz to be.

Now we need someone to test 720p Flash in a browser
What's the build number and kernel version?

should there be any difference compared to the the US with no TouchWiz?
I think flash works fine on the pages I tested. No problems with medium or high quality. But it works best on the YouTube desktop page where you can run 720p
And this is on a US wifi-only
Did you guys in Italy get the usb-adapter like we in sweden got?
Unfortunately I don't know since I have a US-model myself as I could not wait

So Samsung already has a final release version of touchwiz and it is not available as a update still?
There is no carrier involved here, the only delay i can see is getting the update servers ready to push the update. It shouldn't take that long if they wish, lets see how long we have to wait.
hi, kind of funny really and I don't understand this policy neither...let's just wait and hope something good might happen soon...
guys I have an italian version of the galaxy tab 10.1 +3g with tuch wiz and all the stuff... if u have any questions ask me =)
Get a dump of the system so devs can port it over for all of us to get.

Is this a link to the TouchWiz rom for the 10.1 slim?
is the bootloader locked or unlocked on italian touchwiz devices?
will it be possible to flash custom kernels in future if it`s locked?

I don't get it.
Italian or not, there should be options within the ROM to change language to English or whatever, right?
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'd be really interested . I've always wanted touchwiz 4 looks really clean and simple .
Never used touchwiz that much but i would try it and i think lots of others would too because there is none available yet.
Would be great if a 150mb cwm partition with sd ext would be enough. I hate switching the layout all the time...
Thumbs up for this!!
First 2 trys went bad
One time with another tw launcher and one with direct port from galaxy 2.
Any dev here to solve this together?

This is the one of which we speak. There are bugs in the tutorials. Haven't figured out how to use the Thumb Sticks for viewing my consist and switches while running routes. I still feel its worth it.
Edit: I'm starting to rethink my initial impression of this game. It really is buggy. I wonder if it's because of my custom rom? Is anyone running this on stock? I'm running it on Virtuous Galaxy 1.5. I may flash and retry.

Im currently running it on a stock rooted rom.
Im not finding it buggy at all, but iv only had a few quick goes, but i havnt come across any problems as of yet, so i may have just been lucky.

Are your thumb sticks working?
I flashed to primee and still no joy on thumbsticks. However, the controls no longer disappear. The views are working as well. Seems snappier.

Afternoon all,
just bought a galaxy tab 10.1 but not entirely impressed. Feels a bit laggy to me. I have an ipad2 too which hardly lags and works flawlessly.
Galaxy feels and looks better but what would i need to do to reduce the lag? whats the best rom available
I notice the lag alot when i swipe.
Install ADW Ex launcher if you want to stay stock, or flash the ICS ROM, and kiss the lag goodbye.
You are truly not seeing the potential with tab with the stock touch wiz.

All you need to do is read a few threads asking virtually the same question in the past several days.
The ability/willingness to search and read will save you countless problems and repeating of question already answered and here for the finding.

Sockmonk3y's Sticky guide in the development section tells you exactly what to do. I like how he added a section right into the guide saying, if you want a custom ROM, now is the time. Sure helps know when to do it.
Personally, I like go launcher hd, which is just out of beta and the options to customize and theme it are almost non-existing so far, so I can't say its the best. I like go launcher ex a lot with So many themes and stuff to customize it rocks. But if you decide to go with go launcher hd later its a pain to start over.

I would suggest you root your tab immediately and if you are not too concerned with the Camera you should install ICS Kang from AOKP. But other wise best HC choice is GalaxyTask 14.
Galaxytask14 has some lag but the ICS roms are literally flawless and has amazing mods and one of the biggest secrets behind the ICS speed is that they do not have Samsung's bloat-ware.
So if you are one of those people who loves flawless experience at the expense of camera (until Samsung releases a rom with the Camera driver) ICS would be your best friend and believe me I have come from IOS too so I was always after total smoothness that I have found in ICS.
Hope this helps .................
