The only problem I have with ICS is that I no longer able to connect to a vpn, a known one using l2tp ipsec/psk... Seems known must use pptp... It worked just fine with HC 3.2.So I decide to look openvpn did not fully try for the momment.... I will let know how I'm doing.

Try DroidVPN from the market. Free version has a 100mb daily limit though. I use it with OperaMini to access the B&N store from Australia for my Nook, so I don't need a huge amount of data.

Congrats, but be aware that this firmware likely has the brick bug.

Is it 4.0.3 or 4.0.4?
It's 4.0.4.
I had some issues on OTA update that was failing each time. I did a Kies install and everything went smooth keeping all the old files and settings.
The general feeling is good and I didn't see major drawbacks in the first couple of hours of usage.
My personal impression is that they improve pen input and bluetooth stereo output (less distorsion), but it's just a feeling.

I thought verizon was supposed to be allowing free tethering on 4G phones after the FCC came after them. One thing you can try is bluetooth tethering, not as good as wifi tethering and it may not work on all devices but at least verizon doesn't block it.
The first rooted tether app still works

How does this belong in the hardware hacking forum in any way, shape, or form?

[Q] Installed roms disable my wifi?

Hello having a issue when installing Roms. I rooted my Nexus 7 with the Nexus 7 toolkit and had no issues. I currently have tried cyanogen mod 10, smoothrom 4.4, and paranoid android and all install perfect ..... But my WiFi connection shows its on yet no internet? I have looked through numerous settings and seen nothing turned off? Two of the Roms actually wouldn't show wireless connections either. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Try a different kernal? Does it work on stock rom?

Turn off Contexual filename and Location Tag on Camera App. Else, uninstall the app/s that uses the camera(like skype and viber).
