i would love to not give up here

Even if you manage to get flash working, the experience will be TERRIBLE!
On my Motorola Flipside (which is ARMv7 so it has official support for flash), videos freeze often. I don't really use the flash that much.
If you really want to watch Crunchyroll (Gintama baby! ) you can always download the Crunchyroll app, but it requires you have a subscription (14 day free trial though)

[Q] Can't play videos in browser.

I cannot play videos using Google/Verizon browser. (The default browser I believe) This morning I could play them. Then, not able to play any video. I can play video on the Dolphen browser. Is there a setting that I may have unchecked? Thank you.
Do they require flash? Cause we don't have full flash until 2.2
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App
Yea embedded videos require flash which will be included in the upcoming 2.2 OS update. You'll have to make do with the youtube app until then.

i think (could be wrong) but there is a 2.1 flash apk

I have seen many try with no success.
good day.
Well, you might try SkyFire Browser if all you care about is flash video. Charming, useful ui too. I assume it is still a very good browser (though I wound up just using dolphin HD).
Pretty much all of the alternative browsers beat the pants off of stock.
Some videos play with the flash lite. Like the magic phonejack website.

My problem with most of the third party browsers is their horrible color schemes. I'd use dolphin hd but I can't stand the neon themes they use. The stock browser has a much more professional look to it.

The Wildfire doesn't support flash videos. It is probably due to the lack of a graphics processor.
I have the flash app which is modded to work on wildfire, how can I stop it shutting down
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
i too tried this flash mod and it works for some web but its mainly for web page and games so its not really good for video. as its been mentioned alot on other threads and posts flash is a no no really for wildfire. regards slymobi.

You can download a few video player apps on market that allow you to open a video from the web, they load only the video but puts its own user interface over it, I do believe MoboPlayer does it and it detects your phone and asks you to download a Codec Pack for the Arm6 Processor to run better, again for free, it worked for me

Wildfire Adobe Flash Cm7 Working fully

Hi, after rooting my wildfire like many of you I loved all the new features in Cm7, all except the lack of Flash, but I spent many hours experimenting and found us all a permanent solution.
You need to install flash 10.2 for Arm6 and Puffin web browser (1.6+) available on market, I will post link for flash.apk in next 5 mins
Flash 10.2 for Arm6 - http://db.tt/x5KTVLVp
Ask any questions you want related to this topic.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
Puffin will load the webpage in either desktop or mobile format your choice and display a flash logo where a flash object or video would load, just click the logo and their you have, fully working flash for your wildfire
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
downloading now will it only work with that browser? or will others such as dolphin browser work.
Not sure, give it a try and report back, in dolphin set plugins to ondemand if possible for best results
Edit - No ondemand setting in Dolphin :/
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
will do thanks for this, i'll report back in ten mins

picture working perfectly, sound is way off and its not the video checked it on pc, havnt restarted my phone since installing, so thats probably why,
thankyou
Ok try puffin browser. It does cost but do what I've done which was 'obtain' the app via 4 Shared to try it out and if you love it as much as I do you'll support the developer and go buy it, its well worth it
Remember - Always support Dev's if they have done a great job!!

Oh and overclock to 728Mhz with Smartassv2 for best results
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
already done all those things, got 1.6.9 of puffin browser, 729/768 smartassv2
Then its time to enjoy flash
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
Dudes! When you are using Puffin.....you don't need Flash player at ALL !!!!!!
Puffin is a cloud based browser....you don't need to have flash installed on your phone.
And i think its not legal...to test the app via "4 shared".
lol,it play facebook game on wildfire,
but of couse,it is LAGGY
Either way this flash still works with other browsers on wildfire, didn't know puffin was all cloud, experiment with other browsers and report back, Dolphin works with it just about, not sure about stock...

MIUI flash

I am using the latest MIUI rom from the development section. There is a problem with the flash. When I play YouTube in browser, I get sound but not video. It starts working if I make it 240p. This is a problem because I use an app called flash video browser that let's you watch hulu and stuff. The audio works but not video. It worked on other rooms like coredroid.

Try taking the flash files from an older MIUI rom that worked and putting them onto the New development one? It's a shot in the dark and it's a long shot at that, so long shot in the dark; don't plan on a hit, but eh. What's it gonna hurt?
Try using an older version of flash player. Although if I recall, flash was always kinda buggy for me on miui even with said fix.

Flash player

Are there any apps that will give flash support on jelly bean or are we just screwed?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Flash works perfectly for me. I'm rooted and replaced the default browser (Chrome) by renaming the BrowserProviderProxy.apk and BrowserProviderProxy.odex and copying in the Browser.apk from the AOSP Nexus browser. Side-loaded flash for mobile from the Adobe site. Search a little and you'll find lots more info about this. Other users claim Flash support on other browsers, but I haven't used them.
People like to use Firefox and install the flash apk. I have honestly never needed to use flash player though.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
I sideloaded the flash player that I backed up from another device and use it with Firefox Beta (no root required).
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
I've attached the latest flash player. It worked fro me with Firefox. Mine is rooted. But if you are not you can give it a shot. Let me know if it works.

Works great on boat and maxthon browsers.

Dolphin works. Even newest versions. You need to delete or change some tunny browser file. I forget exactly, just search dolphin and flash. And no....you don't have to use version 8.5.xxx. that will crash if you full screen a video.

I just tried UC browser with flash and it worked. So far it's the only one that hasn't crashed when playing flash videos. Firefox crashes occasionally, boat crashes EVERY time I try to play a flash video.

Many thanks. always want to use newest versions of Dolphin with flash support and now my dream just came true.
After read your comment and google that finally I has found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1933179 thread and it work!!
Ok, but I'm not rooted (yet)
Just got my nexus 7 recently, maybe in the future I'll root it.
I would recommend puffin browser or boat browser, both support flash without any extra app. Just download one and 'ur ready to go!
