Hello everyone! I just recently flashed CM7.2 to my ZTE Blade and everything is working fine except that Cyanogenmod Settings is not opening in the Settings and just force closes. What can I do?
Also, I keep on running out of memory (internal). The notification "low memory" always shows up on my notification bar and I don't know what to do. I move all apps to SD but to no avail. It says internal storage: 156mb used/ 6.2mb free. So I have problems installing other apps to my phone. Any tips on dealing with this?

Moving apps 2 SD doesn't move the entire app. I suggest u read about SD card partitioning and s2e.
Don't know about the settings.

After I flash the rom,CM7.2 rc3 DrOidACe,I also face the same problem.
I can't enter the Cyanogen Settings,too.
Who can tell me what should I do to fix the problem?
Does anyone has the zip file of Cyanogen Settings.apk?

I recently installed Android on my phone.
And now I am getting an error if I run a application. ( This does not happen with all applications. )
The error I am getting is:
Slice It! ( Game I downloaded from the Android Market. )
-----
Sorry!
The application Slice It!( procescom.com2us.sliceit ) has stopped unexpected.
Try Again.
-----
This also happens with other apps.
I have found a fix for this error and that is to move the app from my SDcard to my phone.
But some apps on my SDcard work so I was wondering is there a fix for this so I can put all apps on my SDcard so that my phone's internal storage does not get full.
OnurKirikoglu
Info op my phone:
HTC HD2
Android 2.3.2
MDJ's CyanogenMod 7 (v. 2.6) A2SD+
Is there something I could not explain well or is it something else?
Anyone???
Maybe some apps moved to SD card, look in application settings.
If they did, just move them back to phone ;-P
Please Help!
I just started having issues like this myself. Seems like half my apps give me an error. Doesn't matter if they're on phone or sd. Started after I put in a different sd with a new android rom in it. Ginger _bread. But it would get stuck after some cyanogen mod7 animation would finish followed by an option box asking to click to install by com.android....or some other option. Either way it would just freeze on that screen. So installed my other sd card with darkstone froyo 2.2. First thing it did was asking me to tap on android to get started. Did so and skipped all the other prompts. Then it continued to load all my apps as normal but with the exception that a lot of the apps where giving me pop up errors asking to force close them. Its driving me mucking cuts! Should I reformat my sd and start from scratch? Sorry for the long explanation. Thanks in advance.

The only problem if I do that is that the internal storage of my phone gets full.
And after a while I get messaged like "Internal Storage full".
Is there maybe a way to give the internal storage a bigger capacity?
Ok so I installed an Android NAND Rom on my HD2, this is my 3rd ROM I have tried, all the others were fine, but with this one I have no internal memory, it shows up as 0.00b (completely empty) and I am trying to figure out what I can do to fix this problem.
I tried switching back to old ROM's but that did not work. I have also cleared my cache on my phone, that did not work either, anything you guys can do to help me?
Is there anything I can do to use my SD card as my default memory? I have a 16GB card but I can't install apps onto it. I can't install any apps at all. Nothing works.

thats what im trying to say to everyone - read through your ROM thread, there must be some instructions on how to make it work.

+1 on this answer, @OP,sounds like you have flashed a large cwm partition layout that has taken up all the space for the system partition, a 400 one perhaps?
Same problem

Same issue here. Installed MIUI 2.9.29 on HD2 Leo. Internal memory shows 0.00B, which cannot be true. I did a complete wipe before installing ROM. Actually, after installing I did also factory reset/wipe cache/ wipe Dalvik, but nothing helps.
Searched for solution on this site and elsewhere, the only plausible advice is "clean reinstall", which is cumbersome for me.
Thanks if you share your thoughts.
EDIT: I used 150MB partition.

Hi, i have just started to use Android on my HTC HD2 (EU 512MB). Ifirst flashed the V2.0 of the nexus HD2 ROM with Tytungs kernel and later changed to the actual Version NexusHD2-ICS-4.0.4-CM9-HWA V2.1 (Kernel: tytung_HWA_r2.3-uniMAC) because of the known high battery drain.
The new Version is really great. It runs extremly smooth. I also use a class 10 16GB Micro SD Card from Lexar and have app to SD Installed. My Problem now is that i can`t get any sound, or extreme low sound volume from the acustic feedback when i press a softbutton on the screen (surely the option is enabeled in the menue). The haptic feature is also enabeld an running. Does anyone know how to fix this Problem?
Please tell more information as it didnot mention in your post

Did u install any of the A2SD script?
I want to know where to find the softkeys?

That sounds like the "low sound problem" that results from using A2SD on ICS ROMs. Look into the A2SD-thread in this forum for solutions or simple re-flash your ROM and use Link2SD from market instead of an A2SD script.
If you moved the dalvik cache to the extend, move it back to the intern storage.

I made a clean install (Task29, installed MAGLDR, Set Partition to 200/5MB) I installed 40ad2sdx-a2Recovery. I also tried with Fix Permissions. Everything else runns perfectly, only the sound feedback for the pressed buttons is not running.
Well if you’re here you’ve probably gone and bought the ZTE Blade or one of its variants (Orange San Francisco, Dell XCD35 or the Idea Blade). You’ve probably been using it for a while now and I’m pretty sure you’ve come to that annoying moment when you download an awesome new app and get that pesky notification saying “Not enough memory”. Here’s a way to fix that problem albeit temporarily for rooted and non-rooted users alike
# Non Rooted Users:
First off, if you’re Android version says 2.1, it means you’ve got a Gen1 device. It’d be best top update it to a Gen2 device yourself using a TPT, or ask your manufacturer to do it for you. Now assuming you have a Gen2 device, i.e. your Android version says 2.2, this is how you go about getting space to install more apps.
-Once you install an app, open the settings menu
-Go to the “Applications” menu and select the “Downloaded” tab
-Select any application
-Keep in mind that this works only for applications that have been granted movability by their developer
-Android 2.2 onwards has an inbuilt option that allows users to move part of the app to the SD card. You should see an option saying “Move to SD Card”. If you do not see it, or it is grayed out, that means the developer has restricted the option. This is common for some apps like widgets
-Repeat for any number of apps you want.
Note : This provides only a little breathing space and allows you to squeeze in a few more apps. The root methods are far more effective. There's also an app called APP2SD to help with this on Google Play
.
# Rooted Users
The following methods are only for rooted users. To check if your phone is rooted, download the Root Checker app from Google Play. Rooted users have two methods of increasing storage space: Apps2SD+ and A2SD.
Apps2SD+ is similar to the inbuilt option that comes with Android 2.2. However, this enables rooted users to move more of the app to the SD card and also move ANY application to the SD card irrespective of the developer’s restrictions. There are two things that must be kept in mind while using this method. One, widgets do not work if moved to the SD card, so refrain from doing that. Two, the SD card is read after booting, so moving too many apps to the SD card (75+) will cause the phone to hang a lot at boot and reboot several times. This is done using an app. I recommend "DroidSail SuperApps2SD''
A2SD is the process of partitioning the SD card and using it as phone storage. This is by far the best method to increase storage space as a 1GB partition allows you to install 500+ apps, the ease of use and performance aside. This is available for most ROMs if they support an sd-ext script. Partitioning the SD card can be done using Minitool Partition Wizard or by ClockworkMod Recovery. The recommended partition size is 1GB as this is more than enough. The swap should be kept at 0MB or if you use the phone for gaming, at 32MB. Once the memory card is partitioned, the apps along with all their data can be moved to this partition. This can be done by two ways. DarkTremor A2SD scripts for most ROMs, or S2E for CyanogenMod. This is very easy to use and having done it myself, I have 450 apps and the phone’s performance isn’t the slightest bit affected.
Partitioned and still no space? See this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1933144
Good Luck installing those 500 apps and showing off with them

hi there. hoping someone may still read this.
Any options for resolving low storage space issues on a Blade V without rooting?
I've moved literally app possible to the SD card (which isn't many).... Are photos not stored on the SD card by default? I've had to start uninstalling updates for system apps that I don't use
with "low storage" my Gmail doesn't sync...which obviously is f*cking annoying
I've had andoids before and rooted them, installed custom ROMs. Just I'd avoid it with this one due to my fear of screwing it up. Is rooting my only realistic option?

Rooting and then using the solutions in the op seems to be the only plausible option.
However, you can try a cache cleaning app. Should give you 10-15MB depending on how many apps have cached data

I am sorry for that...i wrongly create that thread.
i use this app also...it is not supported my phone
What do you mean by supported? It didn't let you install it or it didn't work?
You could also try this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.krikun.s2e
But, CM10 is in a better development stage than CM9, you should consider switching to that. I have CM10 2ndboot builds and moving apps to SD is working fine.
Remember that not every app can be moved to the SD Card, that will depend on it's developer too.

Did you do a factory reset before flashing CM9? What is your total internal storage showing? If it's not 2GB total then you will need to back your data etc up (not NAndroid, use Titanium or similar), then boot into STOCK recovery, do a full factory reset (wipe data and cache), then reinstall your ROM, then reinstall your data from backup.
