Got a brand spanking new Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.
It's going to be used by multiple people, including kids, so multiple user profiles would be a perfect feature for me.
So...here are my options:
1. Root the tab and install 'SwitchMe' from the app store.
2. Install a 4.2 JB Rom
3. Wait it out for an official 4.2 JB update?
So here's the dilemma:
1. People say SwitchMe can ruin your device by creating boot loops and such? True?
2. What features will I lose in a custom rom? People saying a lot of things don't work and they are unstable. Plus connectivity with my Samsung TV is a must.
3. Will an official 4.2 ever happen? Considering we only just got 4.1, I have my doubts.
Thoughts?
Thank you.
You should ask this in the correct forum - this is for the Galaxy Tab, not the Galaxy Tab 2.
I am a new user of Samsung Galaxy Core Prime (SM-G361H) who is not very familiar with the Android OS. I would like to obtain admin privileges for an app and would also like to find out if there is a way an app can be installed on the phone but it will not show up in the applications manager. I also don't want to brick my phone
Google hasn't been much of a help. Any help folks?

hi,
i have a samsung galaxy j500FNXXU1BPF5(2015)(topic title is not correct, so i mean j5 2015) and i want a few more options on it;
-the internal memory isn't enough for me, so i want to run the apps from the SDcard,
-i want to use a part of the SDcard for virtual memory to expand RAM,
-and i want to make automatic backups from my phone including storage and phone settings.
- rather keep android 6 as a base
so my question, what is my best option? root it or install a version of CM or another ROM(has to be stable)?
also i have a SDcard with a writing speed of 60MB/s and reading 90MB/s, is this enough for running apps of it and using as virtual memory?
anyone with the same phone that did it already, plz feedback, thnx.
