I tried all available screen recording programs for my kindle fire..all of them have same problem..after recording is over if I go to gallery, the recorded video is completely blacked out..I tried these apps on my kindle fire..btw my kindle fire is running gedeROM 1.65..I even tried these softwares on aokp but didn't work

And many more..none of them have worked..videos are recorded and they have even some size like a 2 minute video has something around 12mb..but cannot see anything in video..just completely black..if someone want I can even upload a video sample of my problem on YouTube...

i recorded a video on my xperia x1 and it saved but when i try to view the video, the little video recorder icon shows with a crack in the middle of the icon and it wont let me wiew the video whats the problem?
Let me guess, you installed a youtube player? Search the forum for youtube fix without breaking camera video, it's on one of the first pages (first 10 at least).
Just noticed today that when I play back videos I recorded on the HD that the "expand" button to make the video fullscreen has no effect. Then immediately went into the youtube app to test it there and same thing. Again cannot change the orientation. Seems to stuck the way it is.
Can anyone suggest anything?! Thank you for any help!

I've been having this issue for a few months. My phone model is GT-I9500, and I'm using CM12.1.
When I record videos, I can play them on my phone just fine, however if I try to play on PC or send it to anyone it will only have the audio on a black screen. This happens on Snapchat as well, any video I record will be the same way.
I've tried updating the ROM and doing a hard reset.
Is there a way to solve this or is it a problem with Cyanogenmod?

Yes, I've tried different apps and formats. Same result, can only view in my phone and anywhere else it's all black.

Got my V20 a few weeks ago and enjoying every day so far. I had a short question.. Let's say I'm at a presentation or class I want to record using the HD Audio Recorder app, and at the same time, I would like to take some pictures.
Any idea what to do? The HD audio recording stops recording once I take a picture..
No buddy has a solution?

HD Audio Recorder gives a msg claiming that Multi Window is not supported
Maybe a separate camera app.
Camera app requires access to camera and microphone which prevent another audio recording app to use the mic. My suggestion is, if you really needs it, try recording video and taking pictures at the same time. later you can split the audio from the video.
I tried to find out solution for that , but nothing worked for me not without root .

I recently recorded some videos in 4K 60fps. Whenever I try to trim them, the editor closes directly with a message "Cannot edit this video". It's working fine for the videos shot in 1080p though. Is anyone else facing the same problem?
Just tried it and same problem too
Same problem here too. Recently recorded a 5 min [email protected] and the stock gallery app doesn't let me edit/trim the video. Haven't tried other options yet.
Are you able to do it with third party apps?
