Is it posible to download IE Mobile 8.12 somewhere on the internet?
I already searches xda, but i can only find IE Mobile inside a rom. I just want IE mobile cab ore something to install on my exsisting rom.
And if there is one, does it work on my 6.1 rom?
It should look like this:
Yours,
Ruubs
you could download wm6.5 rom sone beta 7 if you are using a diamond. i have tried it but went back to ie6 because this one has many bugs. anyways if you want to try it most 6.5 cooked rom have it.

Hi,
In the attachment you'll find the links to Windows Phone 8 update packages. So far, I haven't done much research on it. I haven't looked into possibilities to flash these packages to Windows Phone 8 devices. For now, the download-links for these packages are only meant for research-purposes.
The GDR2 update for the NOKIA Lumia 920 consists of a total of 498 cab-files. These files are OS update-packages and driver packages from NOKIA and QUALCOMM. There are a lot more cab-files than in the Windows Phone 7 updates and the files are much smaller. The update is probably split up into many small packages for better performance of OTA updates.
Edit:
Added GDR1 updates (captured by AlvinPhilemon)
Added GDR3 updated
Ciao,
Heathcliff74
hmmm.... what to do with it?
I think I can not update my Ascend W1 with that
as it looks to me , they got rid of the supercab's.
but they still use update, remove , canonical
and oem only uses spkg (same as for wp7.*)
mobilecore.updateos.spku_e43e93f600315a484bd7459ea66df61bf396832a.cab
baseos.mainos.halextensions.8960.spkg_2989d52c174d97ff90c2a9c4ffda264a7f18bca1.cab
nokiafirewall.spkr_f8143fae9eeded7f7fc1755978a25bfc78b71157.cab
HeathCliff! YES! It looks like the full crew is assembled now.
I'm going to flash back to the 5951 update, run fiddler on the phone and see if I can spoof the windows updates into applying to my 920 (if that will be possible)
Question, does anyone happen to have the Carrier codes for the carrier in Sweden, Spain, and Australia? Example ATT-US for AT&T and ROG-CA for Rogers. I need the equivalent of those for this fun little test.
Btw, it looks like MS hasn't implemented traditional over-usb method to install cabs. During R&D I believe they apply them directly to file system.

It sure would be nice if they had a cab installer program like they did with WP7.

Well, it's not just file-copy. Provisioning-files and registry-files need to be applied. Also, the filenames of the binaries in the package are not the same as the target-filenames. It could be that a reboot triggers further installation. For example, there is PhoneProvisioning.exe...

Alright, I trust that you and HeathCliff have this under control? . I really need to learn ARM/x86 Assembly and get back into C++. I feel useless sometimes .
This would be HUGE deal if we could find the cab that enables the FM radio on the 928.....and be able to install it.
It's been proven that the phone supports FM radio but, it appears that Verizon/Nokia did not enable it...

Hmm, did you update using OTA or using the ROM from NCS? I wonder if the NCS ver. includes the FM radio support.

AT&T Won't get it until the 26th I've heard. I just put a AT&T Dev ROM with the Amber Update on my phone. Works like a charm.

Someone asked about FM Radio on the windows phone site and the answer from a Microsoft tech was that it was up to the carrier whether it would be unlocked in any future updates so I guess we have Verizon to thank.
Edit: It looks to be disabled in the OEMSetting.reg. If only we could write to the registry...

If Only... Grr. I'm going to dig further. We WILL get registry writing working damnit. Microsoft ::waves finger::
interesting! with this and Fiddler, we should be able to quite easily "trick" the phone in to installing "Missing" updates. I did that on my phone. I was able to install 200 additional "updates" onto my T-Mobile branded HTC 8x. This method should also work to get Wi-Fi calling on the 8x as well as non-t-mobile branded devices. Does anyone know what the name of the cab file is for the movial IMS update??

Hello.. today I show you a great app! This app is call "Firmware finder".
You could find it on Google Play Store with also screenshot--> here
This app get you the latest firmware for your device. I don't post this into "app" section bc I suppose that's a useful tool for us.
As I read on internet, there are a lot of upgrades for our devices but Huawei local servers don't release (and we don't know the reason). There are also official fws; no custom roms.
The only problem that Idk how to manage download.
Enjoy
Many thanks to Huawei P8 Lite italian Facebook group

it depends on how the devs made it
I want to keep the data. Not fresh install every time. But I found this on GitHub
I just blew the dust off my 950 and updated to latest arm64 build. It's a bit smoother. Better. It's good.

Maybe someone with more knowledge will answer. I think it's DISM? ...
I wrote a post on my blog about it.
I've installed W11 on ARM and did not get Continuum working, I might try this way. Thank you very much.
I have acer liquid jade primo windows 10 phone with version 1511. The store is not working.
Please how do I upgrade it to the next version 14393.xxx? OTC updater said there are no updates available for the device. But there should be a workaround solution.
Thank you.
