Hello friends,
I have an unlocked Sprint LS980, which i was using for GSM India(I am from India). Two days ago phone shut down on its own i tried booting into download mode which made it to boot again.
now i am facing multiple problems First of all battery drains very fast (50%+ overnight without any use) which was normal before this incident. Secondly there is NO NETWORK Coverage, i thought it locked again and unlocked again. I have also tried flashing the stock rom and unlocking steps again, but to no use. Problems still exist. Is there anybody to help

i think you shoud kdz and flash a rom cook (cloudy rom,mahdi,slimkat,...).about network, in network setting, you try to change to another mode such as 2g,3g,lte,..
if i flash a rom cook, can it be unlocked then? (without code) like:-http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2655133
By the way, i tried flashing 4.2.2 almost 3 times, battery drain is still persistent. Do i suppose that battery died in a day?

LS980 user here from India... Unlocked.
Simply flash .tot of zv8 or zva & root using IO root or towelroot & then perform the unlock procedure.
After that take OTA to KK [ ZVD]
Also may I know from where u bought it ? ebay.in ?

Yes, from ebay.in . but i tried the procedure twice. No unlock and battery drain still persistent. Maybe my bad luck
Installed Cloudy ROM and done unlocking steps http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2655133 but still not unlocked. and battery drain continues.:crying::crying::crying::crying:

hello. i recently purchased lg g2. its back cover says d802 but on the inside it says d801/d803. so first idk what model it actually is. can u please help me figure out its model?
secondly after a firware upgrade through lg pc suite it got stuck on lg logo and wont move forward. it can enter download mode. idontknow much about software programming so i seeked help. i took it to repairs but the guy said someone flashed the wrong rom into ur phone as we cant determine which model it actually is so now you have to purchase new IC for your phone. so rom flashing wont fix the problem now i guess. please help me out whether i really have to change the ic or it can be solved through software fix. i would be really thankful for ur help.

I m sorry for posting another thread but i tried to search how can i unbrick it but its too confusing as there are too many diffrent issue.
I purchased my phone from Grey Market. I had a problem of knock on code other touchscreen issue so tried to update it via Lg software and it showed there is a update but it showed US so i thought it may be US improted and i updated it but after the update it is stuck on LG logo.
It goes into fastboot mode and factory reset mode.
I confirmed from the seller he says its china imported but the US LG Support centre shows Hong Kong IMEI no.
Plz help how to solve the issue step by step

I have recently updated my Sprint device, which had the mobile data working flawlessly before updating. Now I want to fix it and I want to flash my device to a T-Mobile firmware but I kinda lost between forums. Where should I start? Can someone outline the steps for me?

Start by flashing the latest T firmware to it , if that doesn't correct your data and its showing invalid sim then your device may have been re-locked which I'm seeing a lot of lately
Hello guys i have one big thing to solve here i hope you are going to help me.So here is my problem:
I have an S8(G950U) which i flashed with T-mobile firmware from Sammobile.The phone worked totally fine for 7 days.I even updated the software the day i flashed the phone.Today i just woke up and i got a message on my phone saying that for security reasons your phone is locked.Now i cant even use T-mobile(Macedonia card),and not even my main operator(VIP MKD).Can someone help me what i can do? The phone is snapdragon,and the IMEI IS: 355987080853152. Its not blacklisted i did check it out.
I have 2 questions only:
1.Do phones get locked when you flash it with carrier firmware?
2.Can i flash the phone with some other firmware so its going to get in working phase again.
