Someone already tried it?
is it galaxy note odin rom ?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Its not for international Note (N7000), so its a little bit useless i think..
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
any one know if galaxy note will have official 4.0.4?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
be aware it's for China market, and not for international note
this , like the other chinese leaked will more than likely brick your phone , do not flash this
(edit) OP please state that this is not for international gt-n7000 instead of just having a download at the bottom of your post , some who are new to the whole flashing thing could flash this not knowing what they are doing
If this is a leaked 4.0.4 ROM, does that mean the Note is getting Android 4.0.4?
Exacly! Android 4.0.4 coming soon!
Does this come with bootloader?

But, logically, us unfortunate enough to have the brick bug won't be able to update?
what is this doing in n7000 forums?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
Beware people. It is not GT N7000.
I'm gonna report this thread.
There is leaked for S2 too
sammobile.com/2012/07/04/android-4-0-4-leaked-for-galaxy-sii
I think this just leaked for our note, hope brick bug will be gone

Don't be naive. I9220 and N7000 is the same device. I flashed all custom I9220 roms without problems. We just need to wait developers to port it to safe rom.

Yep I did. I have seen few cases when people hard bricked after flashing N7000 firmware on the Chinese Note.
SO It could be risky to flash firmware of the Chinese Note on the International N7000.
Look like galaxy s2 coming 4.0.4 with old touchwiz

Anyone else, please DON'T!

This is NOT a custom ROM. It is a stock made by Samsung CHinese Note firmware.

What is this? No screenshots or anything? And i googled uckh3 and nothing came up. Oh and I like how you uploaded a .rar file when you could have easily made it a .zip file instead.

Have u tried to download the file and see what it is? Looks like a stock captivate leak to me, why do you need screenshots for a stock rom?
Edit: OP its a good idea to link people with the source from where you got this build

It would at least be nice to see a screenshot of the "About Phone" section to see the kernel and modem flashed on it.
Sent from my SGH-I897 using XDA App
Its on samfirmware.com as well.
Newb question how and where does the kernel source drop?
It is the latest 2.3.4 I897 leak from Samsung.

Now we need root
This is great! I'm super excited to try this but I want to wait until it can be rooted and repackaged. As I understand it Gingerbreak still does not work with any 2.3.4 and doesn't work with most 2.3.3 distributions.
Judging by the file name, it looks like this was pulled directly from Samsung's FUS (Firmware Update Server?). If so, how about UCKH4? it has a build date of 8-19-2011, but my old method for pulling it from Samsung don't work. (Its how I got KB1early.) So my question for the OP: How did you pull this from Samsung and can you use the same method to get UCKH4 too if its not too much trouble?
This was announced yesterday on a twitter feed (SamsungFUSNews) I subscribe to an usually the announcements are followed by a Kies official release within a few days.

We might want to get our sleeping bags out if we're waiting for the source. In Samsung's defense, they do seem to have gotten better at updates recently.
Does anyone know if the fugu kernel swap root method works with this?
Looks like this is also up on samfirmware.com now. According to their twitter feed.
Yes. This firmware is from Fus samsung server. It was marked as KH4 but after download in the archive was KH3

I`ve been running it for a few hours and so for everything is above great!
I think it's a good ROM. I tried it for 5 days with Phenomenal 5.4 medium, have great battery life and responsivness. Only one time I had a crash with google maps, and I had to restart phone by remove battery. I'm still disappointed with google chrome performance... Is mine or on GSII it doesn't run good?

Nope. You can use Check Fus to download it directly from Samsung server.
Showed up on Kies tonight, but I haven't installed it yet.
4.03 is smooth for me. I'll let some others test drive it before I update it.
I don't wipe or restore or anything that would trigger the brick bug, so 4.03 is ok for now.

Wrong place for questions like this, it is a official release, stock, unrooted, unchanged.
You should ask your question in Custom Rom threads or in the Modding corner.

Because simply deodexing a stock Rom isn't worth to be called development.
Building Custom Roms isn't development at all - that's why the "original" forums were created.
If I make "stupid" deodexed, rooted Roms for a new release where there are no plans to change something I'll post them in the related General forum thread.

of course: samsung solved the helium-waste-problem, so you'll get a new hydrogen-fusion based battery mode. And because of that the CPU doesn't need to do the normal battery optimizations anymore and so Android will be much faster because the CPU can react instantly.

Is that for real,BTW any way to update via odin?
Coming from xxlt4 I did a full wipe in philz recovery and flashed the rom with pc odin. After that I rooted with philz LT4 kernel. Noticed nothing new and no problems so far, except lockscreen shortcuts are now enabled by default (I did not change CSC).

There is no chance to make any statements on battery life before you finished 2 or 3 charging cycles. Give it a try, you can directly flash the sammobile file via pc odin.

Yeah downloading it now ,Hope it goes good.Do i need to do a factory reset or not since i have many apps installed and it is really a pain to download them all again?
Made a deodexed version already. Will add download links later from home. And if there is "need" for it: a slim version with removed bloatware.
Just installed the deodexed version on top of XXLT4 as no-wipe.
Working with latest PhilZ Kernel 5.x for LT4. No problem. Usual bloatware.
Will make a slim version at home. Links in the afternoon.
There is need for slim one...
can't wait
