The processor on my nexus one wont clock above 614mhz and yes i have checked and i have the max set a the stock 998mhz

How are you measuring it?
Download No Frills CPU control and it will record every clock speed that your nexus hits. Also, Posting fake problems are not going to make you seem any funnier, if you really couldnt solve that problem you shouldnt be on XDA, just another tinye99 alter-ego.

ive been testinf voltages on trickster but cant remember the stock cpu voltages.. does anybody here know?

Is there a way to control what the gpu processes in the stock rom/kernal? I was messing around with Hellfire kit kat (excellent rom btw) and it had an option in the settings for all animations and such be controlled by the gpu not the cpu.

If you use fauxclock or android tuner you can change the gpu governor and frequency as well.
