I had power saving on and I went to turn it off and my haptic feedback doesn't come back on. Had anybody had this problem?

Had that issue had to reenable haptic feedback

go back in and make sure its enabled if that doesn't help it try a battery pull

That's normal. Its part of the battery saving program. When I turn mine on the haptic feedback turns off. When I turn it off the haptic feedback turns back on.

Turn off buttons vibration and battery indicator?

1)
I think HTC have forget to do it possible to turn off the vibrator on the Home, Menu. Back and Search buttons at the bottom, when the make the HTC Wildfire.
So are there somebody who know if it possible to disable the vibrator in some kind of way, for this buttons?
2)
When the battery is under 15%, the battery indicator flashes continuously.
Is it possible to turn that off?

Oooh, very nice! Thank you man, this is what I've dreamed about since I got my Wildfire, to disable that!
Do you also know if it possible to disable vibrator, in the 'Phone' when I enter a number?

1) I don't think you can disable the vibrator in the 'phone', only the audible tone.
2) Yea we must wait till a ''Hard Root'' (which will be soon)
I got both settings at menu - screen and sound

Haptic Feedback on Soft Keys disables on every reboot - Galaxy s III SGH-I747M

I am running stock Samsung Galaxy SIII ROM and Kernel (UNROOTED) on Virgin Mobile Canada.
I go in the sound settings and enable haptic feedback to "vibrate when soft keys are pressed and on certain UI interactions."
Every time I reboot or Turn Off/Turn On the phone, no matter the sound profile I am uring (silent, vibrate, sound on), the check mark in the haptic feedback setting gets "unchecked" and therefore disables haptic feedback for soft keys. I turn my phone off every evening and therefore this is a bit of a nuisance.
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. I did a search on XDA and did not see any posts for this exact issue.

After more troubleshooting I have found the problem:
At every boot I would turn back on haptic feedback in settings. On one boot I finally noticed that power save mode was on (from the notification it made). I checked the power save settings and it was set to "Turn off haptic feedback". This is what was turning off on each boot.
Problem solved.
Thanks god you found the problem! It's driving me crazy too!

After restore - No more haptic feedback

Hi forum,
So I recently restored my note, and something felt off. It turns out that haptic feedback is not working. I have seen people saying how power-saving mode is what causes this, but I have it turned off. There is no haptic feedback on the soft keys, while holding down the home button, or while typing on the keyboard(when the vibration feature is turned on). All help is greatly appreciated!

How do I disable do not disturb?

Problem:
Phone in my pocket, volume down gets bumped into. The next 3 hours I won't get any notifications. This is incredibly annoying and frustrating.
How in the world can I disable volume down activating do not disturb while the screen is off?
First, the power button has to be bumped first, then the volume down button (various times). Too much bumping.
get a case

The power button does not need to be bumped.
While the phone is sleeping (screen off + short wait), press volume down either once or twice and it will go into do not disturb mode. I can also put on full volume while it's sleeping as well.
Tried what you said. Doesn't happpen to me. Using stock rom.

I restarted the phone and the issue hasn't come back yet. If/when it does I'll post again. Seems to be a weird bug

Issue has just came back. Restarting the phone makes it go away. Seems like we have found a solution! I'll keep a log of how often this happens here.

Which rom are you using? Is Double tap to Wake enabled? Are you using an app to lock the screen? Maybe that app is not locking the screen initially but displaying a black image for a short time before turning the display off.

Stock rom.
Ambient display is disabled.
No App. It did this stock out of the box
RMA would be a better option.
Problem has come back! a week delay this time
I would love an option to disable it on the phone entirely I never use it anyway and it occasionally gets turned on by mistake and I end up missing calls.
Found this in another forum - change DND priority settings to allow calls and messages from anyone. Should fix it!

How to enable haptic vibrate again ?

I was playing around with my wife's G6 tonight and I noticed every time I made a touch or anything in the phone there was no haptic vibrate going on. But before her phone always had a very nice haptic feedback on it.
I checked all settings like sound had vibrate to tap on I went to other settings with haptic feedback and they looked to all be checked and enabled.
So why isn't her phone vibrating ?
No one has an idea what's up ?
I went through all Settings options, turned off and back on Vibrate to tap. Still doesn't work.

It could be that the vibration motor is dead or damaged...

Haptic actuators don't use motors.
Make sure your battery saving is turn off, turning on battery saving will disable haptic feedback.
