Hi just wondering if anyone can help me out. An example of my problem is i was using gesture typing and tried to spell off. But could not get the second "f" all it would do is "of"
Is there anyting we have to do to assure this doesn't happen?

Try making a circle on the doubled letter. That works on Swype.

That was the first thing i tried

All I have to do is pause on the letter I want duplicated. If that doesn't work try to go back and forth over it

Did you try swype under Language and input options?
Seriously what is up with the stock keyboard? It seemed pretty decent on the Note 2, but on the S4 if won't insert autocorrections when you hit space, and there's nothing in the options to enable it to do so. That is such a basic feature, and leaving it out is a huge step backwards. Samsung, what were you thinking?

Get SwiftKey. Blows everything else away.

Also using SwiftKey. I never cared for stock keyboards except for the blackberry keyboard but that's a whole different phone and argument in itself lol

I use the new Swype, it's came a long way.

+1, especially since they added the option to use swipe.

Swiftkey is my keyboard of choice. Works really well.
SwiftKey is the ultimate!
SwiftKey and Swype + Dragon - switching between the two. Not sure if I want to invest the $4 yet for SwiftKey!
I use the new Swype from the play store

You can turn off auto correct in the keyboard settings. I like the keyboard i like the fact it always has numbers at the top.
Swiftkey for life.
I use the stock 4.2 keyboard. I keep the apk on my SD so I can install it. You can swype or type and it seems to work well.
SwiftKey... Love it

+1 for SwiftKey.... Although I wish it also had the option for numbers at the top for us with bigger screens! But adjusting the long press to about 200ms makes it tolerable! Other that SwiftKey is bar far the best!

The multi window keyboard implementation in N2 and S3 was a small pop up style keyboard. On my S4 the keyboard uses the full bottom of screen in multi window. Is this normal?

I think yes
Can anyone nod the lg keyboard for bigger buttons. Less spacing keys. I know there is a more for the Google keyboard with a number row but swipe doesn't work on this phone for that mod for some reason.

So I've attached some photos to help explain what I'm trying to accomplish. I use my S-pen often and hate the handwriting function when send text. Somehow or someway this has started to become the default input method even though I have it turned off. How can I stop this from happening guys??

In the keyboard settings make sure the pen detection box is unchecked ...
