So much more responsive than the old one!
Keep getting Application not installed.
What is this n00b doing wrong?
Do I need to copy the apk to system/app first?
On CM7 based rom

Copy to /system, set permissions to the same as other /system apps. Rename the old vending.apk to some other extension. Reboot.

in system/app remove old play store (vending) and put new play store in system/app then change permissions to rw-r--r-- then reboot. it should just install tho by using es file explorer to install it

Remember to check if your rom has put vending in data/app-system.
Because if it has then that's where your supposed to put it.

You can't reinstall apps with titanium that you deleted, at least I think not..
Use odin to go back to stock. You really shouldn't be messing with things there if you don't know what your doing

There you go!
The Desire HD Touch Input.
I don't know if it's work on all ROM's.
But it should.
Flash it via recovery without a wipe!
Still only works on the Desire. Other Devices maybe not supported.
Edit:
Seems that it works only with RCMix HD :/ I'll try to fix it.
Thanks won't hurt

Try to unzip it and install the apk through adb please.

Hi!
This is no original ICS 4.0.1, this is just change name version in system files.
Must have, root privilegies.
Best solution, explorer is Root Explorer.
And' go on jobs:
Root Explorer change Mount R/W to Mount R/O (top right)
Go to: /system/ and open file build.prop ( /system/build.prop )
And change line:
ro.build.display.id=Your custom name ROM
ro.buid.version.release=Change to (4.0.1 or 4.1 )
And Save file.
Root Explorer will make a copy: build.prop.bak
Restart your device. And you see view:

If it works ok,otherwise restore your backup

Using root explorer go into system/app and copy setting app to SD.
Now take out the setting.apk from the zip provided above and paste it in app and change permission to rw-r-r and reboot your phone.
If it did not work,replace your original apk in same way
restarted, and it works.
