I'm getting a 59.4fps with neocore. Kind of disappointing. Should be much higher with Sg3.

I'm getting 60.0!

Isnt neocore limited to 60fps??
Sent from my Axiom MAXX!!
Anyone heard of a governor?
Maybe the sgs3 is capped at 60fps. there really isn't any need for more fps than that anyway.

Specs??
Hope to to see cutting edge specs when released. The date of the leaked photo kind-of casts a shadow on that hope.
Maybe that bigger bottom allows for a larger capacity battery.
I have atlesat a year till I can upgrade. Plus id have to sneak it past my wife. Atleast it looks similar she may not notice ;-)

Can't wait to see the specs... anything better than the og epic will do for me! 1.2ghz and single core will do for me! Don't need dual core because my og epic can handle anything I throw at it! Hopefully this will be announced soon!

Itll be the keyboard virant of the gs2.

Yea but dual core will ease the amount of pressure and heat on the CPU meaning will actually last longer and cool faster.

This is Good news... Hopefully the specs are the same as galaxy s3... being that the leak saids july 2011..
I ran a search on that model no. and found and xls from a sprint url. Its a phone list with that model number on it.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
Well it has 5ghz on the wifi bands which means possible of 300mbps link speeds that's a plus. I'm wondering about lte and voice over 1x?? If it has both of those then it will be my next phone.

Nice just got the epic last week (off contract) but might have to pick this up later this year when I plan on switching to sprint.

I hear many great things about the battery life on Vortex and Liberty.
I would definitely give Vortex a try.

When it is available and if the rumors are true it will be a serious competitor for the Note 2. It's thinner with a higher resolution screen. Similar processing capabilities and a 12mp camera. Nothing definite yet.
It'll be a serious competitor for any phone....if it ever sees the light of day. I don't see it happening any time soon.

I personally prefer the lean kernel and OC at 1500 and change the Read Ahead buffer size to 1667 .... Min at 102000 interactive governor even running benchmarks using Antutu and quadrant temp does not go beyond early 60
I do play a few racing games but not the ones you mentioned but have not seen it go beyond 60'c

5529 is decent with this kernel.
How about the battery temperature???
What is the total up time for your grouper?
While holding the nexus do you feel the back rubber getting hot??
I did notice it at times but after flashing to lean kernel it was no longer there..
Cheers

I normally switch that on for playing asphalt or EA racing and while flashing ROMs and checking benchmarks (more of a placebo than anything else )
While browsing or tweeting i switch it off

Hello all,
I recently flashed Ktoonz kernels and used the Ktweaker to set it to Performance. When I ran a Quadrant test after rebooting I was more than surprised. The numbers were much lower than a stock kernel. Any one know if I possibly did something wrong? This is the Quadrant score I have and also a shot of the Ktweaker. Thanks.
Sent from my SPH-L720 using xda app-developers app
Do not ever go by quadrant, if the phone feels smoother and faster then it is smoother and faster.
Sent from my SPH-L720 using xda premium
Okay. So what exactly is it that Quadrant is used for then? I always thought it was used to test the speed of the device?

Its a bragging rights thing really, any developer will tell you its completely pointless. Real life usage is what matters. For instance when forcerom came out it had problems with getting 6000 quadrants but was running smooth.
Sent from my SPH-L720 using xda premium
Okay, thanks a lot! Yeah it definitely does feel faster and smoother. Just hoping that with the performance kernel I still get some good battery life.
Sent from my SPH-L720 using xda app-developers app
