Lost audio on video playback - Galaxy S III General (US Carriers)

I just lost all audio on any videos. YouTube, on device videos included. External speaker and headphones both lost audio.
Required reboot to restore audio.
Anyone else observe this? First time for me after 5 days of beating on it.

[Q] audio stream starts over, video keeps playing

I can be watching a tv episode, or a movie, doesn't matter. 75% through the file and the audio starts over at the beginning while the video continues to play through as normal. Making it impossible to finish a movie. I have tried wiping, trying different ROMS, different media players, and also different video converters. I am converting hdtv, bd, and regular avis into mp4 format with video at 600kb/s and audio from 96 to 128kbps keeping the framerate the same as source, and have also tried changing framerate to 23.97 and other fps settings to no avail. The video and audio play perfectly fine for the first hour or so then magically my problem happens, the audio starts over and the video plays as normal. What on earth is causing this? It's very frustrating. I have been dealing with this for months and had given up, but now that dexter season 5 is out, I MUST WATCH IT!
Any help is GREATLY appreciated. I am currently running Sparksmod 1.6.
Also I should probably note, when I watch these converted files on the PC they play perfectly fine all the way through.

Audio keeps playing but the video stops and the image is frozen in recorded videos

Didnt notice that every video I record after my last update , can only record audio and video the first minute or less and then for some reason playback stops but you can still listen to audio. This has happened to all my recorded videos.
Read somewhere on the internet that you have to delete DATA and clear CACHE on the Camera app, same results. ANyone else has run in the same problem??Any fix?

Audio when recording videos is extremely quiet since swapping to Oreo

since swapping to oreo, I am getting very very muted audio when recording video. zero issues before the switch. Videos for example
Recorded this past weekend. open field, kids cheering loudly Ole' Ole'

Up close, live music. no earplugs needed but definately not quiet.

Normal audio. you can here me fiddle with buttons and then speak at the end of the video.

anyone else experience this
Update.
went digging. on this thread HERE I downloaded this camera app and am able to capture good clear audio as specified. However, going back to the camera app, very muffled Audio.
Bump, anyone test this out on video recording? does your camera record properly?

Audio stuttering

Hey guys.
I don't think I am the only one who experience audio stuttering while playing music, but couldn't find another thread about it.
So, initially I thought it's only via Bluetooth, but then it turned out audio skips for some miliseconds even while playing it on the speaker of the phone.
Is there any way to fix that? Please note that player priority DOESN'T have an effect. That's the first thing I've tried.
I am on Oreo.
Could you help somehow?
Thanks

What audio player do you use and have stuttering? With bluetooth there is a little delay in sound playing for example youtube vid if you dont have at least aptx connection (aptx not original supported by mia1 butpossible with a magisk module).
I use PowerAmp.
Also, I don't have AptX BT headset, but as I mentioned this issue is NOT only Bluetooth connected.

Youtube video sometimes mutes during playback

There is no problem playing single video, but the videos sometimes lose audio when playing a long playlist. For example, it can mute while playing the 5th video, and the audio is back when the 6th video starts.
Anyone experiences the same?
After Max Pro M1 reboots, the time needs to wait the bug to happen become longer.
Another thing is that, I find local playing video don't have time muting error. Youtube is already the latest version, and I don't find similar report in Google Play review.
btw, the phone is on latest stock Pie.
