I don't know; You can make a nandroid backup and then try it if you want;
I have tested it only on Galaxy S2 i9100.

Here is the "updater-script" file with those applications removed from the uninstall list; Just extract the "updater-script" file from the zip and the replace the one inside "xBloatWrRemover.zip" with this one.
Nice thx only 2 things first if u do a factory reset after ur script tw stops working and 2cond if u replace the file u post after the script don't working.

I just tested the file replace and it works perfectly, perhaps you forgot to extract the "updater-script" from "updater-script.zip".
About the factory reset you are correct, so if you don't do one it will work more than ok.

I think that if you install the "xBloatWrRemover.zip" right after the factory reset it will fix it, because it clears the TWLauncher cache also.
Or you can use this "TWLauncher Crash Loop Fix.zip" i just made; It just removes the TWLauncher cache without removing anythig else:

Also for anyone who wants a good cleaning application i strongly recommend "SD Maid": It cleans system efficiently removing temporary files, residual files, corpses from removed applications, temporary internet files from the browser etc
It also has features like freeze or remove any system apps.

Note: As of TNTLite 2.1.1 (a supplemental install to TNTLite 2.0), you no longer need to follow the instructions in this thread to get your Google Calendar and Contacts to sync with your tablet, because the Calendar and Contacts applications and the necessary sync files have now been included with the TNTLite supplemental. In order to get the sync working, though, you will need to wipe your user data in clockworkmod, so that you go through the Google account set-up process again. WIPING YOUR USER DATA IN CLOCKWORKMOD DELETES ALL INSTALLED APPS AND SETTINGS. Use Titanium Backup to backup your apps before doing this. (Data copied to the internal sdcard is not deleted in a data wipe.)
Go to this thread for the TNTLite download, and for more information:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=842004
******************************************
Old instructions, for pre-TNTLite 2.1.1:
This has been driving me insane for the past week--the gTablet with TNTLite was 90% of what I wanted, but the lack of a real sync with my Google contacts and calendar data has been gnawing at me. (The workaround of installing a Google account as a "Corporate" account in Contacts didn't work for me, because I have multiple Google calendars and that approach would only ever sync one.)
But I seem to have found out how to make it work! Alas, it requires a user data wipe, but to me at least it was worth it. Here's what I did.
* This was starting with TNTLite 2.02 along with the Tegra Fix *
First off, I backed up everything with Titanium Backup and also cwm. (You'll definitely want Clockwork Mod installed: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=842004)
Get the GApps v2 file, and copy it as an update.zip to your /sdcard: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=842590
Shut down, and boot into Clockwork Mod.
Wipe cache. Don't reboot.
Clear user data/factory reset. Don't reboot.
Install the Gapps v2 update.zip that you copied to /sdcard.
Reboot.
Skip the Google sign-in.
Set up your Wi-Fi.
Reboot.
Launch Gmail.
Add your Google Account (Accounts / Add Account). Break into a big smile when you see Contacts and Calendar show up as a sync option in addition to Gmail. Let them sync. It may take a while.
If you have a Google Apps account too, while still in Gmail, go back to Accounts and then Add Account, and add your Google Apps account. Break into an even bigger smile when you see Contacts and Calendar show up as a sync option. Let them sync. Go into the Contacts app, and verify that your contacts are all there. (You can use the Display options to show/hide them.)
[Strangely enough, at this point, I found out that the Calendar app was nowhere to be found on my tablet. Probably due to my screwing around before I started trying this out. I extracted calendar.apk from the TNTLite 2.00 update.zip, copied it to my /sdcard, and launched it. It installed, and there were allllll of my calendars. This probably won't be an issue for you.]
If you go into the Contacts app, you'll see under Add New Account that "Google" now appears, as does "Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync" (instead of just "Corporate").
At this point, I took a deep breath and did the Market Fix (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=845175), worried that it might somehow mess with the settings. Rebooted.
And my many calendars and all my contacts are still there, and the correct Account/Sync options are still in place as well.
Now I have to start reinstalling everything (thank you, Titanium Backup), but I've got the last piece of my gTablet puzzle.
Hope this helps other folks like me who've had this problem. It seems that the most important thing is to have the Gapps files already in place when you do the initial user setup under TNTLite. Since Gapps has an older version of Google Maps (and Street View), you'll want to update both of those in the Market. And then you'll need to do the Flash install, etc. etc.
(Dec. 1 update)
Note: If you install a supplemental update to TNTLite after doing this fix (i.e., installing 2.0.4), you're going to get the TNT Calendar back, overwriting the Google Calendar. Your data will still be there, and syncing will still work, but you'll have the less-professional-looking TNT Calendar interface. You can install Touch Pro Beta from the Market for a nicer replacement calendar.
Nice work, and well done!
How is the calendar from the GApps v2 file? Is it stock Google?

Thanks! There actually isn't a calendar in the GApps v2 file, now that I look. It's just the SyncAdapter.apk. (Ditto for the Contacts.) So actually the problem with my not having the calendar.apk may just have been from when I was screwing around trying to get things to work before I started all of this. A clean TNTLite 2.0 install followed immediately by the instructions above will probably have a calendar.apk file with no problem.
Seems we only need a few of the apks in the update to get this running. Maybe get with Roebeet to add those to tnt lite or as a supliment.

Yes, it might work to have just the two Google*SyncAdapter.apk files included in the main TNTLite install (not a supplement). They need to be there during the initial setup.

You can get them out of the Gapps update.zip file, in the app subfolder (link to the file is in the original post). They would go in /system/app, but if you're not rooted, you're not going to be able to put them there. And I'm not altogether sure it would work this way, and you're still going to have to wipe your user data and cache to try. So you should just go ahead and install cwm--the link is in the OP. (You should have cwm installed anyway, even if you're not going to do this.)

Thanks. Just to be sure: which cache are you referring to?
When you speak of cache I'm thinking about settings>running application and then clear the cache of individual apps, but perhaps you're referring to something else. And if we're talking about the same thing: the app of which app?
I can confirm that this works great.

I don't use Exchange, so I don't have much advice, sorry to say. After the steps above, did you go into Contacts, Accounts, Add Accounts, and choose Microsoft Exchange Sync? Are you on TNTLite 2.0.2 or above, which returns to the TNT contacts and calendar apps that some people say work better with Exchange?
Also, a reminder that installing TNTLite 2.0.2 and above may cause your Google Calendar app (from 2.0 and GApps) to not work quite right, since 2.0.2+ reverts to the TNT calendar that the tablet came with. I just installed 2.0.4, and my calendar opens and the data is there, but I can't see any menus or change any views. I have calendar.apk from TNTLite saved in /sdcard, and I just launched/reinstalled, and I'm back to the regular Android/Google calendar. (Am trying to download Touch Calendar, but the market is sooooo slow on downloads tonight.)
Thank you!! Now this is a complete ROM.

After the steps above, I added an Exchange email account which automatically setup the same account in Contacts. I've verified that the Microsoft Exchange Sync is checked/enabled.
Application "Settings" is Force Closing often now. Will revert back to TNTLite 2.0.2 and play with this again later.
Thanks for the effort and I'll keep searching for an Exchange solution.

Pull it out of the TNTLite 2.0 update.zip, in the /app subfolder. Just put it somewhere on your SD card, and launch it.
I do have Settings FCs, but only when I'm closing Settings, after I'm done using it, so I haven't minded.
Argh! Didn't see this until just now -- 2.0.5???? Oh my.
Also, Touch Calendar (beta) in the market is a pretty sweet calendar display app. Not sure if you need the Google calendar apk installed as well, but give it a look. Does a great job displaying lots of entries from lots of calendars, with pinch-zoom for changing views.

I do think it would be a good addition, if you're not worn out. The real Google calendar/contact sync is a big plus, though I know you've said you don't use it.
After the market fix has been applied I see most apps (including some that I know are protected) but not all. From my experience on the DroidX, this is usually an issue with the build.prop not reporingt a valid ROM to google.
For example, I can search on my DX for "wii controller ime" and find the app. My Archos 101 does not. (I side loaded it.)
If someone has a build.prop for an Archos Gen 8, that will see that send it my way please.
Can you tell me what you've changed in the build.prop of your DX?

This sounds cool! Is there a way a non rooted device can get this? Perhaps by some installation.apk
Thanks
Definitly not possible without root. I don't know if it's even possible with temproot
Sent from my A101IT using Tapatalk
Yeah, basically you need to fool the market into thinking you have a certified device. Not an easy task from what I understand. If you have a rooted Android phone you can download te app there, then use Titainium Backup to get the apk off the phone and side load it on you Archos. At least tha is what I do.

Hi chulri,
I follow your instruction above by modifying the fingerprint in /system/build.prop, then did the same market fix as instructed by the gappsinstall thread, reboot. I still can't find the gun bros app.
What else I have to do? (I had 2.1.4 rw root installed before doing this)
Now "My Apps" list is gone in the Google Market, can I get the list back?
Update: ok, it works now. I have to clear cache, clear data, force stop and then run the Market again. Now Gun Bros also shows up, and My Apps list also populate.
I still can't find Heywire app, anyone can see this app after this mod?
I have used archangel to root, then used marketenabler app from the market,
no other steps involved.
I seem to see all apps now (not 100% sure on that) but, definately see some protected apps that I couldnt see before and havent come across any on my HTC Desire that the Archos isnt seeing now.

[Solved]I think the Market Fix trick only work in old Market, it means you need to "Uninstall updates" after clean cache and force stop the Market.
Can someone please post up step by step how to edit the build.prop file ??
I've never done such a thing and I'm desperately trying to figure this out for a guide that I'm working on putting together..
I'm rooted (perma root) FWIW
Thanks a TON.
I use a file manager to copy the file to the sd and then connect to the computer via usb and edit with notepad++.. don't use windows notepad or wordpad as I've had problems with them. After the file is edited.. safely disconnect from the computer. Then I add .bak to the end of the original file and then copy the new edited file over to replace it.
I hope that helps. I believe there are also text editors in the market, but I like editing with a real keyboard.

Here: I"ve used the RootExplorer method detailed in this forum:
http://androidforums.com/droid-x-all-things-root/154976-2-2-market-issues-use-mod.html
Also to all: There are two states possible with the Market. Fixed if you the clear cache hack, unfixed if you do not do it or if you undo it...(to undo just do the clear Cache path but add clear data....no need to stop googleservicesframework and no need to reboot...just restart Market app and accept legal terms). The difference fixed state gives more apps but will hide some others from you: you get google maps, zeam, ADW, ...but you loose Google Earth, Flash Player 10, TVU, .... Jus to name a few. So the key thing is to know how to quicly switch from one state to the other. use the clear cache hack to get into fixed state and use my undo rootine (clear data) to revert the fix.
Once you add the fix to build prop you pretty much have now 4 possible states:
Please see my post below for my tests on the 4 different states and some conclusions
http://forum.archosfans.com/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=48312
Here's how to very easily undo the fix if you need to...
..Once you've done the Market fix you do not need to reinstall Market to go back to state before applying the fix. Once you do the Market fix you will gain access to few more apps but many apps requiring froyo will no longer show up anymore: that's the case of apps like TVU, Flash 10, .... (there must be many more). I suspect the market fix makes the device and generic device but not a froyo one.
To go back an forth between the fix and the original state all you need is to do this;
go to Settings --- Applications --Manage Applications ---Running -- Market ---Clear Cache ----Clear Data --Force Stop--Relaunch Market ---Accept Terms and Conditions ---
Voila. and you're back to the original State where you can find flash 10 & other froyo only apps.
If you do the the fix...you loose flash ..but gaine other apps...the fix skip the Clear Data steps ...and the Clear Data step will undo the fix. THe fix requires reboot..To undo it you do not need to reboot and do not need to stop googleframework.
I do this fix and after seach keyword "adnroid" i get about 143000 apps.
Is it ok?

Yes, that's fine...you good...fixed state, fixed buld.prop
but note you may still not see some apps with are available in unfixed state, fixed build.prop (like TVU, Google Earth, Adobe Connect, flash 10.01,..)
That's the con of fixed state...you gain some you loose some....
Hi,
Today I'm going to talk about how I make my stock rom fast (Who care about what I'm using? Well, keep reading if you want to know) and tips for using apps, so let's get started.

2. download xperia s app v2
3. Remove: system\app\
Calculator.apk
SemcCalendar.apk
SemcDeskClock.apk
4. Don't flash xperia s app! Use only:
Calculator.apk (better UI)
SemcCalender.apk (better UI)
SemcClock.apk (better UI & more function)
SemcNotes.apk
Find SystemUI (notification bar with quick panel) that suite you the best and flash or use mind.
Why not flash all xperia s app?
Phone and contact is fast already (Xperia S phone and contact is slower)
Home (much smoother with stock launcher = laggy with Xperia S or Modified GX)
Messaging (good enough)
Gallery (use stock gallery for Bravia Engine, AOSP gallery for speed)
Music (Walkman use too much space in system and it's not very useful)
5. Best Launcher?
-Stock launcher
-Nova launcher
-Apex launcher
6. Best app?
-AOSP gallery (good look, pretty fast)
-Quickpic (build for speed)
-Google Play Music (free and clean UI)
-Poweramp (best sound quality and nice UI)
-MX player (easily the best)
7. Important
*Flash new Andreno lib
*Flash emoji font enabler if you want to view emoji
*If you use social app, try to move it from data\app to system\app. That way, you will free more space in internel memory.
Why? You're not gonna remove it because you use it everyday. There are alot of free space in system\app\ so why not use it.
*Go to settings - developers otions - window animation scale .5x - transition animation scale .5x. (I'm 100% sure that you will feel that your phone is snappier)
..................................................................................... Backgroud process limit at most 3 app (I'm sure that you always kill apps after you used it, so set it to 3. That way, you don't have to kill all the time) (remember to set it after reboot)
8. Uninstall unused app or once a month!!
9. Don't even use tweak (Personally, I don't see any differences)
10. Press thank if you think it's helpful.
Look at the attachment! I took a screen shot after reboot and kill some process (you will be impress)
Also include my modified systemUI.apk (If you like)
I think a brief description of each apk would be useful for some users in case they remove something they want to keep.
Also, don't the oma*.apk files let you download Internet/MMS settings from your provider? Or have I got that wrong?
Oh and on the arc 587 build Sony fixed the Calendar widget to show all-day events which you will lose if you flash the Xperia S v2 version of Calendar.apk - I've had this happen to me before.

I think a brief description of each apk would be useful for some users in case they remove something they want to keep.

in fact, is the description of the users delete files or even what it takes
good thread, i personally didnt remove stuff which normally you do not see running on services. theres no harm in keeping them like widgets and others which doesnt really make your phone slow (unless you use them) and you keep your rom as close to stock as possible. ofcourse unless you need some system apps space, which then you can use to transfer market apps to system apps to create more data app space.

Oma is not very useful for me because I only need to fill 3 line in order to get internet work. I forgot about calendar since I rarely use Calender widget.
Hey OP,
May I know how many user apps installed on your device? Helluva lot free ram you got there.. That way the android system can allocate more memory to the most used app imo..
Nice share dude

You should note there, that this is ICS only.
Xperia S apps will not work on GB.
And yes, I use rooted (personally edited and tweaked) 4.0.2.A.0.62, because ICS is fully crap.
how to move aplication from data/app to system/app?? because i got error when move it.

That time maybe 10 because I just flash the stock ROM. It is often 190 - 210 after a fresh reboot. If you kill some app that run in background like some Google services you will get about 210+

If you use root explorer. First, go to data/app and press the r/o to change it to r/w. Then move your app to system/app. Done!

If you use PC companion to repair your device, you need to flash .431 kernel, root and flash .5... kernel again. Or unlock the boot loader, put ADV stock kernel and flash root by CWM. Repair your phone with PC Companion will hard reset and reflash your phone firmware. So you need to root again.
Very good tips!
I followed your thread and this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1089470
Now my Arc S is working super good and I'm very pleased.
I just unninstaled the Task Killer because I don't need it anymore, everything is working perfect :good:
Thanks for this!
can work on GB base stock?
This zip will remove the apps listed bellow without breaking any Google core service
Google Now entirely functional
Most of these apps can be downloaded on Play Store
I made this .zip based on Stock ROM
I tested only on N5 with stock LMY48I I tested it on Stock Lollipop, 08/nov marshmallow and 30/10 PureNexusProject (both Marshmallow), I think it should work for almost any ROM 5.0+ but I am not responsible for any damage on your device.

Also need to get rid of exchange services.

Aosp messenger dont works it doesn't even show.......

Tell me the .apk name in /system/app and I can add (case sensitive)
I didn't added it first because I thought that would be better to have at least one calendar app, but "hey, anyone can download his favorite calendar app on google play later", but the ROM I'm currently using don't have google calendar, so... I need the .apk name XD

I think that may be some conflict with another messaging app, I only tested this on stock rom without any other messaging app installed, you can try install the .apk inside the .zip as a normal app
Updated
Now it also removes the files if they are on system/priv-app instead of system/app
also added google calendar (CalendarGooglePrebuilt.apk) and messenger (PrebuiltBugle.apk)
Running out of internal storage for apps on my ZTE Blade MiniQ running android 4 .2 .2 I rooted it using Kingroot and then used Titanium backup to delete bloat ware.
BUT I selected something by accident but thought I'd managed not to delete it - now I think I must have! :crying:
I use google calendar sync'd with business calendar on my phone - it shows no calendars available.
I've installed the google calendar app - but it says my calendars can't be displayed cos calendar storage has been disabled - there is link to enable in setting - app info flashes up and then settings stops working.
I've tried deleting and reinstalling accounts, even a factory reset - nothing is working.
Have seen an old post about this but the link to 4share is no longer working
Has someone got a ink to the right file - and can tell me how to get it back on my phone I'd be extremely grateful
(I did delete lots of stuff like google play newstand - but think that should be ok - and no I didn't back up - cos I am an idiot! -or rather was only planning on getting rid of bloat ware)
The calendar is the one of the main things I use on my phone ....
1.download stock rom for Q mini from official ZTE site
2.extract this from ur stock rom:
-CalendarImporter.apk
-CalendarImporter.odex
-CalendarProvider.apk
-CalendarProvider.odex
3.copy/paste it in system/app and change permissions to rw r r
4.reboot
