[Q]2D graphics only298pts in antutu benchmark - Galaxy S III General

my new bought S3 has only 298 marks in antutu benchmark of 2D graphics, it is even lower than my ace. Is it normal? Is the GPU faulty?

on high reservation screens, 300 PTS is nearly max.

Axura quadrant scores

For those of you that are running axura could you please post your quadrant benchmark scores.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Quadrant is around 970-990
Linpack around 14-14.3
Even though quads don't mean anything, here are mine.
Quadrant: 977
Lin: 14.2
Thanks

Quadrant score.

I used the standard edition and got a score of 1780.
Is that about right for a rooted G2? Just curious.

Overclock it with setcpu
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
1780 sounds about right but you will notice a huge increase with a little overclocking. Give it a try if you're into that kind of thing
Sent using "a series of tubes"
Sorry, I forgot to mention, I am using setcpu to the max of 998 mhz.

Nexus 4 running over 100oC safe??

I was messing arround with overclocking and undervolting. after f*****g up my app data with a "bad" undervolt I had a look at overclocking and I get over 100oC and still rising running at 1.7GHz is this normal? I have a fast binned chip

Also getting over 80oC on stock!
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Well the bar only goes up to 100
What does that tell you.
Bring down your oc dude.
The CPU safety threshold is 110.
Meaning if it gets to 110 your phone will shut itself down to prevent damage
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Thats all I wanted to know ... But 80+oC is insane for stock!
After undervolting its 75-78oC but that 3x more than my gaming PC!!! (And 2x the GPU temp)
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Well what are you doing to cause this heat. On both screenshots you are showing Max load. Max CPU freq at quad core. Of course your CPU is going to be overheating.

I'd prefer it if my phone was fatter with a heat sink........

if you wanna go mental with O/C, you should go for watercooling or liquid N2
haha, although I did apply thermal compound to my galaxy 5 and it was a lot cooler (it has a metal thing that is conveniently over the CPU

While gaming (or what ever you are doing to get it that high) have someone stand behind the phone with an upside down can of compressed air blowing on the back of the phone. This should help.

Here are my highest overclocked stable results. Any higher speeds my marks start to go down. I'm using the latest CyanogenMod 10.2 nightly and Elementalx 1.1 kernel.

At the same clock speed of the Galaxy S4, you get the same benchmark result.
One more hint that this S4 Pro is just an underclocked Snapdragon 600, no more, no less.

I have an S4 and I don't think there is anyway my Nexus 7 can hit an 11k quadrant or a 26k Antutu at 1.9ghz. I believe there must be something else different like ram or something. Otherwise I would agree it is an underclocked S600.

My nexus got shipped today very excited. I'll get it next week.
Any of you can run a 3d mark?
I think it should score around 11k stock

Using Cleanrom + ElementalX kernel I get about 12.5K on 3Dmark
Elementalx @ 1.9ghz on cm nightly. CPU running like a champ at this speed for 24 hours without a problem. Might try pushing it higher to see what it's limit is.

Snapdragon 800 or 801

Hi I was running an antutu benchmark test and in the device information section. It listed my processor as a snapdragon 800 the thing is that every spec sheet I find says that it's a snapdragon 801 I should have under the hood. Is antutu wrong? Or do I really have an 800?

3D Benchmark shows it as an 801, must be an antutu bug.

Might be problem of Antutu. Also consider that, Snapdragon 801 is overclocked version of Snapdragon 800. May be that's why it's showing 800.
