Hi....
I need help from you guys..
I have Defy using PVL-StockPlus (4.5.1-134_DFP-231) from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1582187 but unfortunely it doesn't have notification toggle.
My past ROM is MS2Gingger 3.0 and I love the notification toggle. could you teach me how to makes notification toggle or modif MS2Gingger 3.0 notification toggle into PVL-Stock plus? and I don't really like full ICS animation on PVL Rom but I love animation like MS2Gingger. could you teach me how to make it?
Thanks before.

Hi! I might just be able to answer a couple of your questions. For the notification toggles there is a modified system-ui.apk (or at least a replacement) by balika01. Here's a link to the original post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20049788&postcount=143 Just install it through custom recovery.
As for the animations, I'm not sure how to make them default, but you could try to use rom toolbox (maybe you need the pro version) to install gingerbread animations.
Good luck!
Hi....thanks bro
its sound good..

The one and only way to change your notification bar is root. The notification bar is part of the framework-res.apk in the system. To modify this file in anyway you need root. Sorry your out of luck
Check out G.O.T's Openrecovery......it will allow you to root if you haven't already and has a nice theme included with a black notification bar!
Am using it right now and looks good...although I would suggest not installing the fonts as they are slightly messed up on the new update.

It doesn't work for the 02.38 leaked build from GOT Team...or rather, it works but it mess up all the text, because Motorola have made some changes in framework-res.apk on that build. With the past build, 02.31, it works flawlessly.

You can try to remove got theme, in OpenRecovery folder delete "fonts" and retry applying theme. It should go
I wasn't referring to the GOT Theme (I've tried it and it works, even if I don't like it that much) but to the SenseUI/Black notification bar linked by iamdarren on droidforums.net, it confuses some texts on the Shols_2.38. For example when you want to shut down the phone, it shows "airplane mode" instead of "shut down phone" and other things like that.
I know it's an old thread, but ia am also looking for a black notification bar.
Using Telus build 3.11.
Anyone th files?
does anyone know if this works on milestone xt720 eu ver? and 2.1 upd-1
The ss evo theme for droid (has to be installed over simply stunning 4.7) has a nice notification bar. Dunno if u can install just the bar though. :/
Hey all,
Anyone know of an easy way to set the stock lockscreen to be transparent or semi transparent? Perhaps a flashable zip?
I'm running a black expresso mod on LeeDroid 2.1 and everything is perfect except for that, so I'm just looking for a way to modify the lock screen alone.
Any help would be appreciated..
Thanks
Mael
Yes, I want this too!
I'm also running LeeDroid 2.1 with black espresso mod from BrightSilence.
I saw the transparent lock screen here

This is a clean version , i have not change the battery icon or get transparent on status bar yet. I will make some changes on icon and status bar colors when i have free time J
Updated 16 Nov:

Thanks for sharing Hung... been using this mod since yesterday.... IMO the transparency level is too high... Can I lower down it by myself? cause I saw some overlapping information from notification itself and my desktop....

How to disable navbar and keep the statusbar?
I can't seem to find out how to do that on stock rom.
whenever I push this to build.prop
Code:
"qemu.hw.mainkeys=1"
.SystemUI always crashed and both navbar and statusbar disappear.
any idea whats wrong?

Than no app can work for you becuase gmd's hide soft key does not modify any thing in system and build prop
let me know which rom u r using right now
btw did you tried fullscreen app in playstore it creates its own systemui bar so that you can recieve incoming call etc
yeah, I've tried any possible apps to hide the navbar in stock ROM without removing the statusbar, but no luck.
Currently I'm on CM 10.1.2, using expanded desktop feature.
I'm trying to get some samsung stock apps for CM10 too!
Hello, actually Stock Jelly Bean 4.1.1 to 4.1.2 would crash when you add the line to system/build.prop
I'm currently using JB 4.2.2 in this thread and the qemu.hq.mainkeys tweak worked :fingers-crossed:
But that's just on P3110, because I don't own the the others
