[APP][KERNEL] Titanium Tweaker! - Nexus One General

Hey everyone, i have been working on an android app, which i call Titanium Tweaker.
Its an app which will tweak the kernel, it will work on all cells, having root access.
It can tweak setting like turbcharger by editing lmk values and stuff, it can also allow u to undervolt, overclock, change governors, and many other settings
Here are some screenshots of the app, i have plans of uploading this app to playstore
Thank me if you like my work and want this app,!

CWM Rom Manager, premium vs regular. regarding thread "how to root etc.."

Why am I told that I need rom manager premium instead of just the free one in this tutorial. I thought the only difference was premium had custom rom links for easy updates and upgrades. is this really necessary? is it necessary for this tutorial?

No. I really need to update the thread. I'll do that either tonight or tomorrow. I'm nowhere near a computer and I'm typing this from my phone.

You will find most any paid market app for free. Need I say any more
Edit: I by no means promote piracy. Usually what I will do is get on there, download an app, and try it out. If I like it, I will uninstall and buy from the market (i.e. I did this with Rom Manager, Root Explorer, etc.). If I don't like it, I will just uninstall and not use anymore. This is my way of showing love to the developers who have worked so hard to make my phone better

I also agree. It is out of developers hearts to offer free versions that have nearly all of the functionality of the full version and only ask for donations.
I paid for Rom Manager, because I thought his time and effort was well worth the $5 donation. Then you have some that would rather cut the developer out of the equation.

Still doesn't matter if you do Not everyone will be as nice as you. Cutting the dev completely out of the picture is wrong and shouldn't be done. Anyways the market has a 48 hour return policy on all purchases.

But you guys are right, I think

Just don't understand the logic I guess. Since you front the money for the app. You dont like it, you get your money back. Instead of supporting some clowns that have made them free for download. Lol
The market refund policy enables the same protection described.

Swype beta invitation

Got an email this morning and just now getting to read it... for being invited to the Swype beta program. Looking forward to using it once again it really is a nice app.
I'd like to share it with you guys in the xda community, is there anything I need to do besides attach the apk file? If there is please tell me so I can make it work to share this. Figured I should try and help out since xda has done so much for me

Currently using the new swype keyboard and I love it, it looks like they added a mic button so we don't have to. Decent layout and size of letters on the keyboard. So far all is good looking forward to sharing this.

We're currently not allowed to distribute Swype on XDA. Its considered warez, and XDA doesn't want to get in trouble for having warez on its site.

Saw my daughter user it on her Droid. Doesn't seem like something that would come easy to this old man.
lame is there a way I can put it up somewhere else to share or is that still bad. I noticed that there is an installer and the actual app as two seperate apk files maybe I can find a way to get the one for just the keyboard
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
In order to use it you have to authenticate. I am not sure posting an apk will work. I could be wrong.
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
I understand you are trying to be a nice person but there are a couple problems with your statement:
1) Yes like spatton has mentioned, because of users like you, the folk over at swype had to implement a security check in order to prevent leaked .apk's and they have to cracked before you can use it on another device.
2) You just got an invitiation to a private beta program, and most likely agreed to terms stating that you would not share the application. If I were somebody at swype, I'd probably revoke your invitation.
3) XDA rules forbid posting any swype .apk's as of right now, because it would be considered pirated.

I'm sure you could probably host it on like 4shared or something. I'm not sure if the apk for the keyboard will work for other phones, cause I'm not sure if its registered to a unique device or not.

After flashing, let the ROM sit a bit for it to settle in..

Cleaned. Keep this thread on track.
After about a day of use I feel like it's a pretty good ROM. Not a huge fan of the de-paginated app drawer as you can still see the spacing meant for separate pages and often text is cut off at the bottom of the list of apps.
Like every Sense 3.0 ROM I have used, I feel the text and icons in quick settings are a bit too big.
Don't dig the 3D but it's a sense 3.0 thing not a ROM-specific issue.
All in all it's good. Haven't had any stability problems minus one reboot
Thanks, I am going to be looking into the app drawer to see if I can scale down the icons a bit in.order to have it alligned properly. Will start on it today after work and will keep everyone posted as I progress.

HTC One Switch (Sense and AOSP )

Just read this and thought you guys would be interested. Here's a snippet from the link
"The popular and famed Android modder Paul O’Brien is cooking up something pretty neat for all you HTC One fans and owners. He’s calling the new feature the MoDaCo Switch, and it will allow users to seamlessly switch from the stock HTC Sense UI software on the One to vanilla Android. Essentially turning your regular HTC One into the Google Play edition."

My first reaction is "I doubt it" because Sprint is CDMA, but the more I think about it, it's possible. It would have to be a separate version specifically for the Sprint One though.
