RAM Optimization script

Now that I have found is I can't live without it. This script eliminates bootlags and boosts performance system wide. It is totally safe. I am using it on my HTC Thunderbolt, MyTouch 4G, and my Samsung Galaxy Tab.

Interesting. I'll give this a go

just flashed on my tbolt, booting up now. i forgot i installed live logcat boot animation and it scared the crap out of me
phone just booted WOW not bad, props to the dev that made this, there was noticeably less lag booting and unlocking the first time, and it seems much smoother. will report back if theres problems

Don't know of it's just in my head but it does feel "faster" and I'm on cyanogen mod...

i flashed the zip, im on cm7 rc 1.2 mr2.5

Runs great here!

a little more free ram but not noticing anything too spectacular.

Same here... If anything it's a little slower.
Running Synergy, and the latest nightlys have been pretty darn fast right out of the box.

I don't think the flashable version works at all, the script never actually shown up in the int.d folder, I had to do it the manual way.

Yeah I also had to do it manually...but I haven't tested it thoroughly to say anything solid yet it does feel faster....

Really? Synergy has some crazy lag. I wish I could just pull the hacked mobile hotspot from synergy to use in gingeritis 1.2

Does this function kind of on the same premise as the autokiller memory app in the market? I have used that from time to time especially on the Sense ROMs.

Maybe I am wrong here... But doesn't the name of the script need to start with a number for it to be used. Init.d needs it priorities???
So in other words... Remove the "S" from the name?

What build did you run? 7/19 is probably the fastest ROM i've used. Apparently, ziggy's kernels are some kind of holy grail.

I was going to try this script but ziggy said Synergy already has all of this built into DConfig. And, yes, ziggy's kernels are da bomb

Where is team whiskey?

Hey everybody
Krane_Guy just meandered over to team whiskey forums where he found udder devastation. I was looking for shorty's file locker and it was gone along with about every other post that had been there... and i cannot log in, so i submit to you, WTH

They are done. They had an announcement in their forums about it.

Also, their front page has been updated. Looks like they're moving on to the SGSII and the Amaze. Just FYI in case you like to know what ROM developers might be available for your next phone.

I know, and I've used it, along with Bali and even eugene's cm7 kernel. But no TW GB roms
edit: I should have phrased is as "anything in terms of a GB rom"

Som is back at least part time and will be developing for either the Amaze or the SGS2 and the soon the Galaxy Nexus.
The core of the team remains and will continue with their work.
They just took some time off.
Unfortunately they are DONE with the Vibrant. Sorry guys and gals.

i do like mik roms,i was using mik rom 2.61 and then ver3.0 beta and they both ate up my battery life..kinda new to this roms things..

Everybody has different likes, flash some and see which one YOU like...read the OPs, they tell you if 4G is working, generally the ports from other carriers don't have 4G its a Sprint/T-Mobile thing.....

[Q] ROM port Viper ROM by Team Venom

Anyone ever try to port ViperROM to the glacier? I use to run it on my Evo amd it's one of the best ROMs IMO.

I would love to see this on this phone if it's possible.
It's sense 4.1 now but there are version of sense 4.0 if that makes a difference. I don't know enough about porting to try it or I would give it a try and I don't have the time these days to mess with my phone.

Its already been discussed, i am pretty sure there was some stipulation for porting it but Team Venom offered to bring an official version themselves. I think it might have been that we didn't have 3.x kernel at the time...
