Farewell

Hello all,
This is my version of noob's post lol. This should probably be moved to general, but since I make themes im posting it here first. I will no longer be creating themes for the epic. Long story short, I used to work for sprint corp., hence the work for the epic. I start working for verizon corporate effective Monday. I appreciate all of the anxious downloaders of my priorities themes, and I appreciate the trolls staying out of my threads thanks for everything guys, you've been great. I'm sure you always will do great work in the future. I look forward to porting themes from you all to my next device

Hey samsung!!

Since you guys are supporting the developers now, can you please send me the folder /system/framework/ in the slated Gingerbread (2.3) update for the Samsung Epic 4G on Sprint? From what I can see, they have a bit of work to do on that system_ui from the EE03 build.

Iv'e walked into a apple store and jailbroken a iphone before. It was when 3.0 (I don't remember what version)had that over the internet jailbreak.
I like standing next to the iphones and showing off my Epic =)

Haha that would be hilarious, I wonder if you downloaded a bunch of packages with cydia, and demanded to know why your phone didn't come like the display one what they would say.

I will be getting my 3vo tomorrow and so, as it is my last day as a proud EVO owner, I would like to say thank you, to this community and all the developers that made my phone amazing. This has been an awesome year and I couldn't be more grateful for all of you guys and your efforts.

Broke My Epic @ Work ='[

Soooo. yea, i broke my screen at work... but it cracked the amoled too because it was all green. Out of anger, i threw it against a concrete wall as hard as i could and shattered it into about 5 pieces...
now im back on my hero haha.
Good news is, i got my computer back up and running and i just pre-ordered the GSIII... hopefully that means i'll be able to try and learn to develop for it and help out ERA again =].

It is starting to sound like most of the folks left on the OG Epic are pulling stumps and heading for the GS3. I was planning on keeping my Epic until.. well, Armageddon, basically. But I think once the GS3 is released, all the TW devs and themers are heading there and I'm not a fan of CM9/MIUI/AOKP based stuff, so I am saving my milk money and waiting for my upgrade in August...
We should have some kind of a ceremony when Random and Kenny get their GS3's to bid adieu to this fantastic device, that has given so much to so many for so long.
Looking forward to seeing you "Strut your Stuff" over on the GS3 forums, Kevin!

Whats so great about the GS3? Ive found no reason to leave the Epic yet. Just recently got to play with a GNote and I wasn't impressed.

It is funny, all these goodbye threads, but they never really leave. I wonder if it is buyers remorse when they realize our Epics do everything their shiny new several hundred dollar phones do...... Yep, I bet that is it.

But none of their complaints pertain to the phone... the only remorse I see is that they now have an entire pack of looneyrats to deal with, and I completely understand that sentiment

Then I'm guessing the thread title made no sense to you either - they're all references to an amazing series of books that started with The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I highly recommend reading all of them - so much better than the movie
Or even better, try to find audio of the original radio broadcasts...

From what our friends who have moved on have reported, it seems like his entire family uses either a Gnex or an SGS3
Edit: I was being lazy and decided not to worry about a double post... they were automatically merged! Now I know why some posts have that "original message was at" message - very cool

Yep. The audio books are also great. They have sound effects and Adams' voice for Marvin is quite a chuckle.
