Problem with Acer Recovey

hi guys, i use dexter room but now i'd like to change. i don't succed in going to recovery mode. my tablet reboots but i'm not allowed to flash the ROM or wipe. thanx to everybody. i'm witing for your answers...

try to use CWM 1.3.4 (clockworkmod) to flash that rom,maybe u used the original recovery flash rom so it won't work..coz the dexter is a custom rom so you need CWM..hope this help..

[Q] LG Optimus Black ROM flashing Question

hi guys,
can someone please help me.. i have a rooted LG OB, installed clockworkmod, and the reboot app Anreboot.
now, how do i bot into cwm using anreboot? all i can get to is to boot into recovery, which does a 'factory reset' on my LG OB.
thanks in advance for any help you guys might be able to offer.

My idea blade(Zte V880) is not booting in CWM recovery mode. My phone is normally booting and working but it refuses to boot in recovery mode.
Bcoz of that i cannot take backup of my phone nor i can flash custom rom. It is stuck at android logo when i try to boot in revovery mode...........

Are u sure u flashed the correct recovery for ur GEN? Try experimenting with different recovery versions. I think its the last option when u open the ROM manager app

Oh and btw, hold the volume DOWN button while booting. The android comes when ur holding volume UP

Had the same thing on mine. And as Ice Cream said, you gotta try different CWM recoveries. Worked for me, and now I'm about to flash ICS

latest CWM version should be 5.0.2.0 mate i have found not problems with this recovery version and my phone version is GEN2 if you need any help let me know mate

I had the same problem, it happened to me when i dowloaded cw via data connection, not using wifi. usually with the cw i download from wifi i can boot into that but still it doesn't work ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=22440894 ) :/
so my question is did u dowload cw from wifi?

Okay you must be : ( in order )
* root your phone or install a custom rom
* install a custom kernel ( with init.d support )
* then flash the velocity tweak

Enter recovery mode by Pressing Vol Up +Home + Power there is also a beta for those who do not have a custom kernel

[Q] how to change your recovery the easiest way

sir can i ask a question is there a posibility of changing my clokcword recovery to TWRP on my s4 int gt-I9505 i installed cm11 and recovery via the cm 11 installer can i change the recovery to TWRP? sir can i use the goo manager to change my recovery from Clockword recovery to TWRP and change my TWRP using rom manger to change it back is that possible? because i new to this i just want to try other recoveries can you help me i just a newbie

You can flash any recovery you need just flash zip via recovery it's as simple as that bud
You can try TWRP but best in my opinion is philz cwm ?
