Coming from HTC EVO to Galaxy S3... I notice that when you end a call on s3 it gives you options to view contact, send message etc... anyway to kill that and have it just hang up? Also, on lock screen, when you get an email or text message, those shortcuts on lock screen don't display the number count on lock screen, they do once unlocked but not lock screen. Any way to get unread count on lock screen? Thirdly, is here a way to select all in the email app? I appreciate all your input and thanks.

Hello,
I would like to have the new sms preview in the pop up when my HD2 is locked.
I set it to wake up when I get new sms with bsb tweaks, but the preview doesn't come up, like the calendar reminder, even it wakes up.
It seems that the calendar reminder pop up is shown above the lock screen, instead the sms preview pop up is shown below the lock screen.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks a lot
Use S2U2 in place of the standard lock screen. Loads of options including email and SMS preview.
Is there any way to hide the display of the latest sms message on the lock screen? Please help! Thanks.
If anyone has any clue it'd be greatly appreciated...I live with my ex if that keys you guys into why I need it lol
What about turning a lock screen pattern on or download sms popup and turn on the privacy setting. See what that does.
I would like to know this, it's very important for my privacy.
help would be great ly appreciated.
I believe you can do that with Chomp SMS.

Get handcent sms from the market it's free, and disable your normal sms app notification. In handcent you can customise just about everything, including pop ups etc.
agreed. handcent has the option to have the popup on the lock screen or below the lock screen
I have recently got a Samsung Galaxy phone after having a HTC Legend which the Calendar App on Sense when notifying a calender notification turned on screen so you didn't have to unlock screen to see event description and could dismiss it without more clicks.
So can anyone point me in the direction of how to code a notification App which has a popup on screen regardless if screen is off.
eg similar to handcent.
Is there some SMS solution to show incoming SMS on lock screen lot larger than in notification bar? I've tried Handcent, but it only shows first SMS not the latest.
Also is there a way to simply delete messages without extra two clicks confirming it?
I would like to know this as well, the lockscreen is under utilized in android
And than if you have face unlock it does not even show, so you either have security or functionality. I just came from 5 year old Windows 6.5 phone at it was more user friendly than ICS to me. It is a step up, don't get me wrong, but basic stuff is done with more clicks than in Win phone...
I've noticed when receiving multiple notifications it only displays the top two and the rest I need to unlock the phone to view.
Ideally I would like to have all notifications display on the lock screen visible like an iPhone (able to scroll and read them all) without having to unlock the screen.
Same goes for receiving more than one text message. The first one shows the text message and then after the second it shows 2 messages and I have to unlock the phone to read them.
Thanks

Under Settings > Notifications > Lock screen, do you have it set to "Show All Notifications"?
Yes I do.
Like right now,I have emails I can't view until I open the phone
It's just handy if I could view them all briefly
You can expand the notifications, like you do in the pull down notification bar.
