I'm a little bit shocked to found out that S3 is lost to SGN in this regard.

After ICS, 7.7 may get as fast as SGN because they are almost identical internally. I will post a similar test result after ICS, which will be released to 7.7 next month, hopefully. :fingers-crossed:
Looks like a complete nonsense test to me, since you are testig against a remote service. You should do at least 100 tests with each device and then take the mean values.
Or you should test against a server on your own internal network, to avoid digestion...

Well, the results are actually mean values over tests.
But I just couldn't avoid digestion without removing some internal organs such that food could be passing through my mouth and then coming out of my butt straightly without taking any unnecessary turn. I hope we could all sit down and relax and take this results of compromise as a future reference in estimating the ****tization rate of food.:highfive:

Ironic, we don't yet have a proper leak yet...

Tbh, that's not bad! It's just a shame there's no mention of other details, like how much storage there is and if it does support SDHC-cards. One can also see what looks like S-Pen, but I do not know if it's just for the looks or if it is actually functional.
I know several people who could actually use this phone just fine.
I can't even imagine how much of a headache it would be going phone shopping in China. We should all have that problem.
the samesung fauxlaxy clnotned?
Samesung, Nukia, and Motorolo.
Salute China.

Edit: Upon closer inspection, the first picture in the link does NOT have an S-Pen. The third seems to show one. Either way... no thanks.
Also, the flash is different between the first picture and the third... If it's more like the third then I want that back-piece!
yes, but there are two different versions, one is 5.3 the other is 5.0

Less than two weeks, that's how much you have to wait until that special Samsung Unpacked event on May 3 in London when everything will be clear to everyone who is expecting the follow-up to the insanely successful Samsung Galaxy S II.
There's been Apple-like buzz (and Cupertino-like secrecy) around the Galaxy S III but it looks like we might have a first look at what to expect. The device pictured above and the one starring in the video below is claimed to be the Galaxy S III. However, it's not the Galaxy S III you'll hold in your hand as it is encased in a dummy plastic case in order to protect its sexy looks.
You want specs? Here you go: 1.4GHz quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, 4.6-inch Super AMOLED HD display with 320 PPI, no hardware buttons (yay), eight-megapixel main camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording, 16GB internal storage (plus microSD card expansion slot), NFC, microSIM, 2,050mAh battery and Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich with TouchWiz on top of it.
That being said, the Galaxy S III (or whatever the final name will be) is not a mystery anymore -- granted that the above leak is legit -- except for its final aspect. Check out the video below and let us know of your thoughts. HTC One X killer? Android king for a year?
For what it's worth, the original story with the pictures and video are down which adds more credibility to the entire report. However, thanks to the Internet, there's a copy floating around and more pictures at the Via link.

These phones look and pretty much have the same model number as the Galaxy note, would they run the Galaxy Roms ?

hahaha Andrews operating system...
i've seen quite a number of these knock offs a plenty especially in Asia, especially the fruit phones...
usual dual sims, tv tuner and the best... the phone has a telescopic antenna for receiving tv signals... nyahahaha
Thanks guys I already have a note, I wanted something to mess about with rather than fork out for another note, cheers for your help

I found that the triangle away can't reset the hardware totally anymore.
Where the heck did the guy get this from ? It´s an absolute "wanna have NOW " !!!!
I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm READY RIGHT THIS INSTANT FOR JELLYBEAN! I'm enjoying it too much on my Nexus 7. Plus the posted video shows how great an early build of if can run.
I'm still amazed how great the note 10.1 runs on stock set up. I feel no need or rush To root. Can't wait till the developement picks up for us. Custom kernels is what I crave. I can easily see this Exynos4 hitting over 2ghz. If Nexus 7 is hitting those speeds, we should also.
That JB update looks awesome, can't wait to get this beast
Dousan...
@dermandarin
Uhm..due to the build of the processor which is the same as in the galaxy note 1&2 and the galaxy s3, even the s2 I think, it will only be possible to get +-1.74 GHz out of them.

The US Version of the Galaxy S III is Dual Core-
http://news.cnet.com/8301-1035_3-57...ual-core-processor-and-why-you-shouldnt-care/
So the leak is for the N8000, but it can be installed on the N8010? I know my model number is N8013, what are the differences between these models and are the firmwares cross compatible?
Hey guys, I just need some help checking if this method is sound. I came up with it in the car just about an hour ago. The basic jist is just a uniform standardised way of comparing processors. Let me know what you think. Link Below
http://coldfustion.blogspot.com.au/2012/11/idea-for-universal-way-of-processor.html
It'll make more sense if you read the explanation first.

Well, it still does not solve the problem of weighing both between the tests and possible within each test run.
So the question still would be "11% better for what?".
Interesting..

Sorry, I’m not sure if I follow the first half of the question but in response to the second half.
It doesn't really work that. Each processor would naturally have their pros and cons so one processer would be “better” at some things than the other, but this is a final overall average-comparative method.
The method strictly compares 2 phones while reducing the sensitivity of processor bias within tests on a standardised scale. Maybe it would be best to Imagine if each percent was a unit on this comparative scale.
It that would finally state something like: “The Nexus 4 scores 11.9 Units against the galaxy note II”
Which is not major where as something line “The galaxy note II scores 55 Units against the galaxy note 1” is massive and you’d know that the note II is a lot better than the original.
I hope this all makes sense. Haha it’s just an idea let me know if you still think it’s rubbish
All it means that out of 100 things, the Nexus can handle 11 things better than the Note 2. The other 89 things performed par to par on both phones
