Never said I wrote it.
No one had posted it, so figured I would.....seems like a pretty useful bit of information for new SGS III users, which is why some people would say thank you.
I'm guessing not everyone uses Pulse or reads Androidcentral.

Basic to Advanced Tutorials

I am trying to learn how to write android applications so that I can make my own for classes and such. Do any of you bright minds have any suggestions on where to go to get some really good tutorials/reading material? I really appreciate it.
I've already gone through a few of the tutorials on the official android website, but I don't fully understand some of it.

Thanks Guys
Honestly didn't expect it and was really surprised to see it today. My d/l's on it shot threw the roof over night and I was kinda baffled as to why and then one of the user said I made gizmodo so I googled "Screaming Android" and it was everywhere.
I'm actually kinda humbled cause I really didn't expect it. Sure the wife will be happy to hear it since she was kinda annoyed on the amount of time I spent on it without asking for any donations (probably will never ask) or trying to sell it.
This makes me want to release the other versions I made (like 3 more) some are un-branded. Maybe I'll look through and see what allot of you were asking for.
I can't wait to see what you do next

You might also want try posting under the Main Android Directory Themes and Apps, will get more exposure there too.
probably the easiest way for someone to do this would be to manipulate the xda app/tapatalk app so it just opens to the bible thread.
with that said, youre offering a lot of money for something that is already very easy. just favorite the bible thread in one of these apps, or put a bookmark on your homescreen for instant access.
This would be a sweet app.

I don't really think that it's the app's fault. After all, they draw from the same database that a computer browser would - only it gets displayed for mobile viewing pleasure. I could be wrong, but I think it's just how fast your data connection speed is on your phone, and whether or not you're using wifi or regular signal.
While it wouldn't take a lot of work to probably make a little somethin' somethin' to have the bible displayed a certain way, you'll still probably run into the same issue as data flows from the same sources.

Some tips and tricks for nOObs - Video.

Found this today.
Thought it might be handy for any new S2 users, a bit late for me, but would have been nice to have know these features when I got it
Enjoy

Interesting about the browser user agent! Well there you go... I thought people were producing hacks to provide this feature, or was that only for the sgs1?

IIRC, the hack was to make it a menu option, rather than having to type in the URL every time. Also, I'm pretty sure it resets every time you restart the browser, so a menu option is obviously a bit more convenient!
(Apologies if any of that is explained in the video - I watched it without audio!)

Doug Piston retires support for INC. Welcome our new support channel: pvillecomp

Well, if you've spent anytime on the Incredible I'm pretty sure you know who Doug Piston is. If not then basically Doug was the go to guy for all HBOOTs, Radios, Recoveries and Stock Images for our HTC Droid Incredible. In fact Doug had a website: http://dougpiston.com/ dedicated just to support our stock file needs.
Unfortunately here recently Doug has retired his support for our phone. The course of life moves on and do to a full time job and going to school amongst other things I'm sure, he decided to move on with his life.
He will be greatly missed I'm sure. I know I will miss his support.
Onward with the good news! Before Doug left his last final act of support for as was to hand over the reigns to pvillecomp so that we continue to get the files that we need.
From now on we can go to http://pvillecomp.com/ for those files that we need.
Huge thanks to pvillecomp for stepping up and pulling this together for us!
Yes! We'll miss Doug Piston, but I know he's still around here. Glad that the torch was passed so to speak. The resources for this is invaluable!
