What is the difference between the P7500R(Rogers) and P7500M(Bell) hardware wise? I know one is Rogers is GSM and Bell is CDMA. But does the P7500R and P7500M have the same radio hardware but the tabs are just locked to their prospective networks? Can I get a the 7500M and unlock it and flash a AT&T radio and get 3G data speeds on on the at&t network or will I just get edge speeds?
They are the same. The bell version is hspa not cdma. They are identical in every way, except they are locked to their respective networks. Either one will work fine with att, once they are unlocked

N1s are already unlocked from the factory
There are two versions of the N1: one works with AT&T/Rogers frequencies, the other works with T-Mobiles frequencies.
You can use any sim card you want as long as your phone supports the carriers cell frequency.
You can use any SIM card, even if your carrier doesn't support the frequency, but you will get limited functionality...

could be possible, that he's talking about one of the vodaphone n1's.. I think they are carrier locked, but easily unlockable via root.
Vodaphone N1 is not sim locked I have one. But it has got a carrier tweaked rom.

Vidéotron N1's won't work on Rogers, Bell and Telus 3G; they will -only- work on Fido and Rogers 2G/Edge/GPRS.
Read the FAQ.
I looked at my atrix's sim card and it says 3g on there, what do you guys have? Do you think this could be a reason for my un impressive dl speeds?

my guess is you have one that looks like this
att is handing out new ones that are for 4g when it comes out but you can get them now at a nearby store

Wait what? i ordered my atrix last week and it also came with a 3g sim card but what your saying is theres a 4g sim card?? do you have a pic of one?
Your sim card should have no effect on data speeds. All they do is give the phone the carrier information they need to identify with a cell tower under your phone number, and store contacts. The difference between 3G and 4G cards are purely cosmetic.
i think not. cuz i had questioned about the 4G sim card a while back and she told me that they will eventually roll out for compatible phones.
Lol AT&T '4g' is just 3g only a little faster. It uses the same bands and APNs that 3g uses. Any 3g sim will work on a 4g network in a 4g phone at 4g speeds.

I have a gophone sim card in my galaxy nexus right now and was wondering if I could buy an att galaxy s4 on eBay and use my gophone sim card in it. I'm not sure if att contract phones will work with gophone sim cards. I am considering the Google edition gs4 but I can save at least a few hundred with an att s4 on eBay. Thanks!

Make sure the phone is sim unlocked and you won't have a problem with any sim you use

well you will have to check the sim size... regular, micro mini like that but a sim cutter is sweet for this stuff
I already have a micro sim cutter. Lol. Do gophone sim cards work in att locked phones? My nexus is unlocked but att s4's are cheaper on eBay then unlocked s4's.

Yes a GoPhone sim will work in an ATT sim locked S4. Data may or may not work depending on the plan.
Can I get a Verizon S5 and put in my AT&T Sim to use it on AT&T?
I think so but you won't have LTE

No you can't. Even with an unlocked sim, it's only for international carriers. Not domestic

Is that only for the S5? Cause other Verizon phones do work on at&t, just no LTE.

While that used to be the case on Verizon's 3G only devices, it's not true with most of Verizon's LTE devices, including the S5. As per their agreement with FCC in order to get some of their LTE spectrum, their devices have to be SIM unlocked, which includes not having any bands locked out at the hardware level (like they used to do on 3G phones that had GSM capabilities to prevent them from being used on domestic GSM carriers). With LTE, since Verizon uses completely different bands than AT&T, it's not a matter of things being locked, but simply of the hardware not being there (which doesn't impact the agreement with the FCC). Verizon phones having the hardware for all of AT&T's LTE bands is rare.
Thanks for the update guys

That sucks. I was hoping for the dev edition to work on AT&T. Hopefully, a Google Play Edition will rear it's head soon.
Hi
I have an american att note 3 that I would like to use in europe with another sim card.
Is putting another rom on it will be enough ?
Thanks

It'll work fine providing you've sim unlocked and/or region unlocked it, you won't get LTE either usually just H+
