here we go again with this nonsense leaks of iphone 5 and concepts which never happens,
So your saying that the GS2 and GS3 aren't well designed and good looking? I think the GS3 is a very good looking and well designed, the ergonomics are great it really feels comfortable to hold and use, which is agreat achievement consodering the screen size.

Event tough I hate everyting with that company, I have to say "Wow"...That a beauty there...Don't get me wrong I loved my SGS2 and now SGS3...I can never picture myself using an iOS device...but That leak is simply incredibly well design and a pure beauty....
Now I want Samsung to dare and come up with something different with Galaxy s 4..They do have an entire year for that....Because I'm not gonna buy any other plasticky isht...

here are the obvious difference:
-larger speakers
-a headphone socket at the bottom,
-and that now-famous smaller dock connector.
Omg. That is but ugly. I would not have bought an S3 if it looked like that. To me the S3 is pure beauty. Compared it to the One X in the shop today and IMHO it **** all over it. I also own a 4S and it looks so 2 years ago.

Look at the button layout. It's exactly the same as the 4S. Hold button followed by 2 circles.
Look at the screen size, exactly the same as 4S, even I don't think they'd go miniature again when most phones at +/- 4.2"
Earpiece - exactly the same
Camera & LED flash - exactly the same position
Fruit logo and phone info on back - exactly the same position (if you've ever used an iphone)
The rear glass (and front glass if you're feeling brave) can be changed relatively easily, many friends have done it with different colours etc - this is just another different back for the phone.
Should I go on....

Anyone with some basic electronics knowledge can replace parts, which if not made by a very dedicated person, could probably be readily available from shady 3rd party retailers.

Let's just agree that you don't get the point...
Me, not like you, I'am so affirmative...But if it happens to be the real design, it will be extraordinary well made..That's it.
They were able to design something refreshning with 75% of the old design...

If you look at the history of fruit phones, they change the designed every 2 phones (ignore 2G)..
Trust me... This time, I'm right. If it's not a modded 4S (Which it most likely is), then it's some Chinese knock-off.

A set of rendered photos depict a what fully-assembled version of Apple's 2012 iPhone may look like, based on previously leaked components [updated].
The renders, which were published by Chinese site iPhone中文网 (Google Translation, via MacOtakara), are based on rumors that have suggested the next iPhone will have a smaller dock, larger speakers and a metal back. While the original report was duped by the pictures, they originally stem from a Flickr user, who explained they were modeled in Rhinoceros 3D and are an authentic looking forgery.

Finally a galaxy s that does not look like a toy, too bad is only available in korea because i really like the design, no glossy plastic , the whole front is black and it has an almost matte silver back ,no more curves , it comes with a dock and kinda looks like the iphone 4 , which is better than looking like the iphone 3gs imo hopefully the galaxy s 2 looks a lot like this phone

no glossy plastic back but its looks like plastic though - so what??
I'd rather have the rounded contour of the i9000, it is really easy to slip in and out of pockets and comfortable with minimal outline when it is in there. I suspect that rounded edges take impacts better as well. Also, the back of that does not look so great I like the simple faux-mesh better.
doesn't look nice.. and the display.. looks like it's been shrinked

ya, I think I'm done with Samsung as a company (for phones, at least) All they can do is copy the iphone in almost every way. It's disappointed really. You would think a company of that size could hire some better engineers/designers and get something unique on the market...but I guess not.

Ours is metal, the rest are plastic. Georgio Armani has branded a captivate and will be selling it. The i9020. Now that says something.
I think the reason we got one that one that looks totally different is cause the rest look like an iphone. Apple wouldn't like it if someone walked into an at&t store to buy an iphone and picked up a galaxy s.

It also feels nice too. In portrait, the sides are beveled up. Curves with your hand, feels thin. In landscape, the sides are beveled down to curve with your hand gripping it. Same thin feeling.
And to the op, that's not a galaxy s. In korea, samsung is making a whole galaxy alphabet.

The prime was too deep into development when google bought Motorola for them to just abandon the project. If there is going to be another nexus after the prime then chances are it will be done by Motorola.

According to Google (whether or not you want to believe it is another story), the Nexus phones will still be a contest for developers. Just because Google owns Motorola doesn't (supposedly) guarantee that Motorola will be the exclusive Nexus manufacturer.
I really hope this is true, because I am sure this is a major thing manufacturers push for. They may not sell as well as some of the other phones out there, but they get a ton of clout and the developers are very quick to stand behind them. Anything that challenges companies to try to one-up each other is a great thing in my book. That is what drives innovation.
Pictures don't always do an item justice
The N1 is no looker when seeing it online--which i am reminded of everytime I download MIUI from their Rom page
But, in my hand, it looks and feels great-------
i always thought the N1 looked better in photos, in hand the frame is too big and the colour is not to my liking, the images show a more darker black/brown
IMO, the supposed design look hideous but i like the software though, colorful, eye catching definitely except for the damn home menu and back buttons. WHERE IS THE F*ING SEARCH BUTTON! >.< i know it's weird but i am one of a few people who uses it a alot. on my n1 the search buttons serves as quick autorotate on/off and search function as well. Another biggest thing, doesnt that phone in the photo looks 4:3 rather than 16:9 to you guys?
I no longer think Nexus is ugly. The new picture shows aluminium type of edge around the phone. The first leak of the pics prob preliminary. I likes the new pics by modoco.

My friend has taken my vibrant and thrown it at a wall of from atleast 10 ft. away nothing but a scratch on the bezel.
Then he put his iPhone 4S 2 ft away from a wooden desk (school) and literally just PUT it down and the back cracked at the top, internal only though.
these Android phones are tough as hell.
Most bullet proof plates to stop rifle rounds are made of ceramic.
They break so the energy doesn't get transferred to you.

Diamonds are not the "hardest" material, in the way of the most difficult material to break, diamonds are actually the hardest material to scratch, they are actually very easy to break with a hammer or maybe dropping them to the floor. But yeah I get your point, samsung is just the new nokia XD.

I used to be in this camp. I recently scooped a Galaxy S2 and that size screen is perfect. Fits comfortably in my pants front pocket, I'm 6 foot. The Vibrant feels puny now lol, but the screen resolution at 4.0 inches is perfect. I notice more distortion at 800 x 480 @ 4.52 inches unfortunately.

The only reason why these forums are so negative is because not everyone is going to write about the positives because they have nothing to gain. When people write about negatives, they are searching for answers or advice if that makes sense. Ok well it has a great screen, its unbelievably sharp. I personally could see the pixels on a Retina, or SAMOLED screen at about 300DPI, but i really cannot seem them on this screen. You do not see aliasing on any angles at all, ever.
The TV remote function is great, it works, from a distance, which i didnt think it would. The TV app is pretty good to.
The sound output is very nice. Typical Beats (a bit of muddy bass), but if you like that, its really nice. The bundled headphones seem to be Beats headphones in a cheaper housing. Its LOUD, both from the stereo speakers and the headphones, something very few phones are.
It seems to playback almost any type of file at any bit-rate, as long as you use a third party app. My S3 wouldnt play a lot of the stuff ive tried on the One.
Build quality issues aside, it is solidly made. It feels like a sold piece of metal. No flex, no creaks, nothing.
The camera is very good at focusing and great in low light. Dont worry to much about it being 4MP unless you tend to zoom in or crop images a lot.
Its a bit early to comment on speed. It feels slow compared to the S3 at doing most things, but its on early firmware, its not fair to compare to a well developed year old unit. I remember being underwhelmed by the S3 at first.

Same here, I got this phone because it's the one I wanted, for me it's head and shoulders above anything that's out, and I'd most definitely choose it over the s4, why because it's what I wanted in a phone and no amount of people bashing it will change my opinion of it. They just get ignored.

Nah, I haven't search Samsung's product in all my youtube usage history, and yet Samsung note 2 or S4 pops out when I looking for "New One" or "Padfone 2(which I own now)". Soooooo annoying.
But hey , I don't think all the blames are bad or what, some of them make sense. Well, some of them are just, hmm, random complaints from nowhere.

Nice try but nope
Why would I search s4? lol I'd rather get IPhone 4 than galaxy s4 since I am a design freak lol!
People bashing the Htc one are here for a reason. They are scared. They know its the best phone out there and a phone that will hurt Samsung .
There's two parts to it. The first part are people with issues that want the phone. These are the people that are within their right to be complaining. Then you have the people that are just here to bash the phone to try and justify their intended purchasing of the S4. Those people need to be banned.
Sorry guys, this thread has no place in a device forum.

I got my new nexus 6 and im very disappointed and let down. At first I thought it was going to be better than the note 4 but it really isn't. Does not feel premium at all, instead it feels cheap, kinda like samsung phones. The blue color that tmobile offers is really ugly, like seriously, midnight blue? Aside from the fact that it has a big screen, it does not offer absolutely nothing, it has zero features to take advantage of the big screen. It doesn't have phablet features to help with the size. The screen is a huge let down it is not even a joke. The iphone 6 has a better screen. The speakers aren't loud but the sound is clear. The camera still blows as usual. I can't believe Google hasn't done anything to improve it. I can't comment on the battery just yet but I'm thinking that it would suck. The ambient display will suck the living out of it. Having said all that, I'm torn to pieces. I'm returning it tomorrow
Its not for everyone. We all knew this.

Uh OK. You obviously don't have the phone. One thing about the x14 and n6 is they feel very premium. Almost wish they were a little more light and less premium as it comes across slippery. Very well made phones. Now move on....

Saw it at T-Mobile store today. Definitely does not feel premium. I'd say the In quality and styling it would be The Note 4 in first place, then the IPhone 6 Plus, then last the Nexus 6. The matte back is a greasy fingerprint magnet like a previous phone I had the Moto G. The screen does look pretty nice and the speakers on the front do sound good and loud. But I'll be sticking with my IPhone 6 Plus.

Cool story, bro.
Give it 3-4 weeks and we'll weed out all the people who pre-ordered just because it was hyped.
I don't like metal phone such as htc one m8 I had for 6-7 month and I really was scared to drop it or scratch it. Plastic phones forever for me. So I not worried about how the phone feels. I am going to get the N6 no matter what

Most ignorant comment I've read all week on XDA.

Yup. This is pretty common with every new device release. Within the first month, threads usually pop up stating how they're disappointed with x device and thinking about going back to the phone they already owned or moving onto another.

This!
For those new to XDA, it has been known that once a hot new device hits the market, XDA will be flooded with opinions, assumptions, and disappointments....it never gets old.
Move on people.
Call bullsh!t without pictures. Sounds like a troll from the start.
While its perfectly fine to be disappointed with a phone and want to tell people about it, there is a much better way to do so then what was posted in the OP. Perhaps a constructive breakdown and examples of what is disappointing? The way the OP is laid out, it will only start issues.
