You see normally someone would point you in the right direction if it seems like you've at least taken the initiative to at least look for whatever it is you want however what you're asking for is not exactly hard to find, I'll be kind though and give you a hint, there's a thread called wildfire index which contains just about everything (read that first) then look for a guide to s-off (unlock the bootloader) and root.
I would post links but if you can't be bothered to look then why should i?

Which methods have you tried BEFORE posting here?
Did you need a gold card to root? If you did use that same one... If you didn't need one to root them you don't ned one to unroot. Is this a US magic? My touch? If it is then go follow the unroot for the g1. That's what I did when I turned mine in for warranty.....

I know you can root it , and use a program to remove all the bloatware on the phone, but anyone see an issue with that? I might go get this phone in a bit!

I want to root my HTC wildfire devices. For this I downloaded the unrevoked software with its drivers. After that I followed all the steps from xda forum. But at the last.... I am getting an error message about....firmware too new....(I m Frm my phn, do I can't provide the link or correct message).....please help me

That is an error you get with the newest update from HTC. This update contains the HBOOT 1.01. That can't be rooted using unrevoked. this is a post regarding the same problem
If you read a little more you see that AlphaRevX states they has the solution but it is not quite there yet.
As of now the only way to root it is to get someone with an XTC clip to get it s-off first.
there are allready a lot of posts in here regarding this problem.

Would it be possible if i dunno maybe a little patience and manners was extended instead of having a pop at new comers? Would it really hurt that much to do Kjeerik did and link to a main post? How many times have you started looking for info and found after hours its right in front of you.

Nope. But there is a beta testing going on for alpharevx, so there is already a solution in the pipeline. I'm afraid the only the that can be done is wait and hope it gets trough the test phase..
For the rest of your possible questions:
- nobody knows how long to wait, probably not even the dev's.
- the beta testing is "closed", which means that you have to be invited by the alpharev team personaly. I'm sure that they have enough wildfires to test, because they don't launch any questions for people willing to sacrifice there wildfire. So no need to contact them: if everyone sends them with the same question, then one can call that spamming
So again, sit back and relax, as it is the only thing that can be done now

try to flash another rom to see if the probleme still exist and if so try to revert to wm ...there's a lot of problemes that exist only in android... give it some time
I got an idea...
We should all post about the OP posting in the wrong section...
Which means we are all posting off-topic posts in the DEV area...
Which will solve the problem.

Okay, this is my first and only reply to you.
We have all been newbs, yes, but is it that hard to check all of the main threads of the htc hd2 before posting ? If a person knows how to make a topic, he also knows how to read one..

I used to have the same issue.
Your phone is broken all u can do is to keep it from overheating by underclocking it and only use for short duration of time when using high intensity applications.
I had to get a replacement bc it used to shut down on me at least once a day and then I had to wait for it to cool down before being able to reboot it and use it.
So either try to get a replacement and if you cant just sell it.

Nope, Samsung Is way much easier than the DHD....just read, search and then ask before going on

Download the advanced ace hack kit and read its manual. Don't use HTCDEV to unlock your bootloader that will only give you problems later.
