Could anyone help me and point me to a gingerbread german update.zip for a Motorola Pro Plus?
Here you have two 2.3.6 versions for the PRO+:
http://fwteam.grupoandroid.com/PRO+...36-65-release-keys-signed.Retail-en-GB.tar.gz
http://fwteam.grupoandroid.com/PRO+...-68-release-keys-signed.Vodafone-en-DE.tar.gz
You have to use RSD Lite to flash it. Put your PRO+ into fastboot mode (power + volume-), search fastboot with volume- and then volume+.
Thanks so much I'll make another post with these links and a linkt to RDS Lite in case somone has this problem and is in desperate need for the files Thx a lot again

How do I flash the SPF file just in case I get a bricked Pro? I have a rooted Droid Pro with ClockworkMod Recovery installed from the Droid 2 Bootstrap.
I know how to go into CWM Recovery but only from the bootstrap... let's say my Droid Pro gets bricked and it doesn't start up and only gets stuck in a boot loop, then how do I flash the SBF file?
Thanks for the help, wish there was a fool-proof guide, I'm too spoiled from the ease of flashing a Droid Incredible.
You don't need CWM recovery to flash the stock SBF, you need it for installing CMW backups.
If your phone is bricked, use the stock recovery and flash the stock SBF. Stock recovery: R + M + Power on.
And after you get a working phone, re-flash CWM Recovery & the bootstrap, and use the backup you have.
When I try power + R + M all I get is an exclamation mark and the android logo?
Tell me if this is right...
I hold down both up/down volume buttons and then turn on, and then it shows me the Motorola locked bootloader screen that says "Plug in USB for programming"
Say I plug in my USB to my PC that has Moto Drivers & RSD Lite can I just flash the SBF that way? Nobody has really said literately how to do it, so I don't truly know since I have zero experience flashing Moto phones.
To flash SBF:
- Turn on USB debugging
- Connect phone to PC in PC mode
- Open RDS Lite as ADMINISTRATOR (right click on the .exe and go to run as Administrator)
- Select your SBF
- Click Start
@class: You're right and I'm wrong, I got recovery and boot loader modes mixed up.
al2x: Try what @class said.

Rephrasing my own question - Is there a way to flash sbf using Mac OSX unix command line (Terminal)? JM

2nd post is the Droid Pro SBF Files. They are at 2.26.20 so you will have to do a 14mb update after the SBF install.
You will need RSDLite to unbrick your droid.
megaupload.com/?d=N1MPCX1U
- PASSWORD IS: alabama - You will also need the alabama password to extract the compressed file!

now i tried to res my phone using method by DOSBF in linux but this dont work'd - after 10-15second when i started terminal turn's of himself and dont work.

Anyone have some ideas? i do donate 30$ if someone help me to make my droid 2 back to work!
thank to read this.
Greeting's! Adeno
I don't have my Milestone 2 yet, but from reading other threads, you may be able to boot into recovery mode and take it from there...see: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10967806&postcount=4

i try to find battery loader or other droid2 and i load battery. maybe ubuntu and droid.sh command will work'd (earlier phone switchin off when i do in terminal DOsbf method - maybe then battery have weak power)
sorry for my bad english ...
Hey,
Here is what you need to do:
1. Download RSD Lite 5+ (not 4.x)
2. Download the correct Motorola SBF file I am not able to post any links -- New user here ;-)
Since your A953 is from UK, like mine -- I guess it will be: MILS2_U6_2.2.16_SIGNED_UCAMILESTONE2B1B80E100A.0R_UCXMILE20RTGB_P029_A007_HWp2a_Service1FF.sbf
3. Turn off your Phone
4. Install, Motorola Milestone Drivers for your PC
5. Hold Volume Down+Camera button and turn on your phone -- You should get some white text saying Bootloader-v70.12 , plugin your USB, etc...
6. Plugin your USB, wait for 10-20 seconds and start RSD Lite (as administrator)
7. Flash your phone
You are welcome to PM me if you don't have any of the files..
Good luck !
Hi,
I'm trying to install a Droid 2 Rom (Liberty) on my Milestone, because i thook that was the same phone.
After install it, the phone load the logo (Liberty) and then became black.
There is a solution?
I've tried to apply the sbf file throught the RDS, but it don't find the phone.
HELP ME please
PS. Sorry for my bad english
Can you boot the phone into recovery mode?
I don't know the combination... Do you know it?
Thank You
Shut down the phone and turn it on again with pressing Power + "Up-Arrow" for something like 10 seconds, phone should be in Bootloader Mode then and be found by RSD Lite.
i've just done it. The problem is that the pc (Win 7) don't install the driver...
Any solution?
Goto the Motorola.com website and download the latest USB drivers.

Long story short, i flashed kangvip and it didnt work (from a rooted B124) for some reason it only boot to eRecovery. Tried the download and recovery but it shows "Getting package info failed". Already tried HWOTA's method, dload's method, and fastboot. The thing is i forgot to get Unlock code before i accidently relock. And now its Locked on fastboot. So is there any way to fix this or the only way is to bring it to the Service center? I know about funkyhuawei but it is paid service right? Thanks guys.

Hi,
I bricked my Huawei P8 Lite by accident when I tried to root it after unlocking bootloader. I can't post links here yet but I followed Rootjunky.com's Youtube video "How to Root the Huawei P8 Lite Android phone" and while I was in the process of installing SuperSU it froze on the logo startup screen and won't go past it. People say in the comments that this happens with the 6.0 version but I'm not sure what I have. I've tried rebooting using power button plus down and can get to the recovery mode screen and hit "eRecovery" but it won't connect with the wifi.
Is there any way I can solve this? I am desperate! I have the "Minimal ADB and Fastboot" program on my PC. Is there something I can do from the fastboot screen on the phone?
Help please!
Try using marahmallow latest update.app and after that lollipop rollback update.app, put into dload folder on sdcafd and hold volume up + volume down + power until update starts

Hey, thanks, but I'm not sure on how to do this. I don't have much experience with the technical side of this and I'm not really sure how to go about doing what you suggest here. Do you mean put the downloads on the sd-card on my phone? My phone don't show up on my pc since it gets stuck in start-up mode so how would I do that?
Thanks for your patience with an imbecille!

Here you have a really nice guide with links etc https://huaweifirmware.com/huawei-p8-lite/
Make sure to label the folders correctly. Use an adapter or another phone to connect microsdcard to your computer Try to use the second, marshmallow part. if ot doesnt work try two other methods. Choose files accordingly (single sim or dual sim) Hope you will fix your phone
Phew! Okay, so I got it to work! For anyone out there with the same problem, I got it to work by entering the fastboot screen on the phone by holding down the power button plus the volume down button, connecting it to my PC and then using the command prompt program 'Minimal ADB and Fastboot' to flash the files BOOT.img, RECOVERY.img and SYSTEM.img (using the command "fastboot flash boot filename FILENAME.img") that I got from Huawei's official UPDATE.app file and extracted with Huawei Update Extractor.
I didn't know what Firmware build to get so I got the B630 Android Marshmallow 6.0 for my model ALE-L21 (Dual SIM). It worked, but can anyone tell me if this is the right build, and how do I know which one is the right one if I can't access the old info on my phone? Is it even the latest one? I'm in Europe.
