Hey anyone notice froyo's haptic feedback isnt as responsive as 2.1 rom?
Yes, and my phone`s vibration motor now makes strange noises when it vibrates for the haptics. Sounds kind of like it`s broken, so I turned it off. When I had JM1, it worked fine.
Same here. Vibration is more gentle, and indeed has some noise! Sometimes it even goes crazy, and vibrates like for a second or 2.
Not like I care..
Yeah I find that the haptic feedback in Froyo is a bit weird compared to Eclair.
My device now does occasional random vibrations when on standby, normally two short buzzes, then a few seconds later a single one.
Anyone get that or know what's causing it?

It does that when a program freezes or something. On standby, though, that's a bit weird.
I have same problem. I need stronger vibration for information when the called party answer the call.
This option is veryyyyy good by here is uselles.
HOW CHANGE THIS ?
Hey,
I have a weird issue with the proximity sensor.
When I answer a call, the screen turns off as usual, however, every now and then the screen won't turn on after the call ends. The phone is still responsive however, and pressing the power button simply gives the lock sound.
I'm using CyanogenMod 6.1 Nightly 85 but I'm fairly certain it's happened before on other roms as well.
Any ideas?
That Problem I've sometimes too! Dont know to fix it...
Has anyone else noticed that since updating to EB13 your phone vibrates all the time? I've turned off haptic feedback, but it seems I can't change a screen without my phone vibrating. Any idea what I'm missing?
anyone knows how to disable vibration on back and search button
I also want the vibration of these buttons, any suggestions?
would love to deactivate it too. It seems my omnia has stronger vibration than other omnias and it slowly starts to annoy me...
I have gingerbread on my hd2, its a boyppc rom from 5 may. everything works fine except the vibration issues im having. i want to disable all vibration except the notifications and calls. im finding it quite impossible. ive tried all the settings i can find but i cant turn it off. also - my vibration patterns arent consistent with what i have set in the notification menu. whether i have long, short, multiple short or multiple long - i get the same short vibration. any help appreciated.

The only 2 vibration options are from Vibrate and Haptic feedback. Now, whatever you want to vibrate you can download an app for it like say you want notification go download an sms/mms app that have that function when receive a message.
if there is 'cyanogen mod settings' in the settings menu, find 'input' then 'haptic feedback' Adjust as you want.
