Backing up touchwiz calendar to google calendar?

Unless im missing something....is there a way to back up things I add to touchwiz into my google calendar...everytime i add to my things to my touchwiz calendar and then try and back them up using the google sync they never show up in my gmail calendar online.

You have to choose your g mail calendar each time you set up an entry.. sucks

One of the reasons I switched to Jorte; it allows me to put things directly onto my google calendar.

The magic rom has the stock calendar app. Only way I know of.

I've been looking at that one. Will probably try it when I have more time. I'm really, really happy with the phone right now even with the couple minor annoyances and not sure I want to trade "know problems" for potentially unknown problems.

You should use:

nice list!
messages can't be sent outside of the actual facebook website they use to allow it, but it got abused hardcore.
place addition support via graph is in the work, meaning currently no one outside of the facebook website can add places. hopefully support comes soon!
the rest if the list is doable.
what about:

-multi account support
-assignable home tiles
these are the things I'm going to work on for the winmo version next.
once I've got chat working I'll start on android

How do you think about widgets? Here some ideas:
1x1 Widget Count of Notifications on click -> Notifications

4x2 Widget Scroll across Newest Post, Add new Status

unfortunately you can't poke outside of the website either you can only view who has poked you. don't ask me why

if you made it so you can view more then the first 30 or so parts of a threaded message (the current version of official app doesnt) i would pay for it.

the first 30 or so replies? wow, I've never seen a thread on facebook that big. I don't even know how I would test it do you have an example of a public thread with that many replies?

If you could make it support posting on pages as the admin me & my band would also love you <3

Facebook for HTC Widget

I've noticed that everytime I install a sense ROM I seem to lose the ability to use the Facebook HTC Widget. Right now I'm running the Mikshift Gingerbread/Sense beta and I can't find it. I can setup the account for Facebook for HTC as well as the facebook account for android. This also seems to happen with NFX's roms and any other stock rom. I really like the way the widget looks and was just wondering if there is any way to get it back.

What about using the FriendStream widget? It's twice the size (4 x 4, vs 4 x 2 of the facebook widget), but it's scrollable, and you can update "What's on your mind?", and reply to friend's comments.

I may just try that, thanks for the idea. Never really looked into friendstream.

GingerBlur Contact widget problems

Hi all,
I hope this is the right place. I've recently flashed GingerBlur on 4.1.83 (great rom by the way) but I've run into a small issue. The old Motorola contact widget doesn't work anymore and I can't find a suitable free replacement.
This is very inconvenient for me. I like to keep all frequently used contacts on one home screen and have the Facebook photos displayed with the ability to call or txt from the widget. Can any of you think of a way I can accomplish this via a marketplace widget, or a way to get my old moto contact widget back?

[REF] Definitive 'apps that work with multi-screen' list

So it seems that only certain apps work with multi-screen and it is not just samsung apps.
Here I plan (with your help) to create a difinitive list of all apps that will work.
I have already noticed that some apps allow themselves to be splitscreened even when they do not appear in that list e.g. official twitter app.
Some apps you will find when you press the edit button, you can then drag them to the main list, or remove ones you do not use.

weird its not showing up for me, did you login to the app? maybe its because I have not logged in?

What about S-planner and Calculator app? I would think these would be two of the most useful to use multi-screen, or at least floating over the screen like the galaxy tabs.

a '*' denotes that the app works in split screen but cannot be selected from the list, it must be activated first then another added as the second screen, therefore two apps with the '*' will not be able to be paired together.

Mine had Twitter in it from the time the multi view was installed.

I had to press edit and drag the twitter icon from there.
Splanner and calculator do not work in split screen.

Thanks for the info. Bewildering why they would leave out calculator and S-planner from split screen. Two apps that would seem to benefit most from it.

Maybe Samsung will add more apps at future firmware updates.

Would love to use Skype with Multi-window. A video call while being able to use the phone.Actually, imagine Skype with video pop up. That would be fairly handy.
Looking forward to the future of the Note 2.

Press and hold the back button for 2-3 seconds. If nothing happens then your firmware doesn't support multiview.
