Out at the weekend celebrating my birthday,my mate who is an Iphone user, insisted i do the "bounce or break" test. In my complete drunkness and obviously determined to show up the iphone i agreed.
I can confirm that after being thrown across an 18square meter room at considirable force, the HTC HD2 passes gloriously... sadly the Iphone did not (chuckle)
obviously i dont recomend anyone else try this as it could have ended very badly... like it did for the poor lil Iphone HAHA

Now that I have sold my Nexus One. i was very sad immediantly just because the phone was sexy as hell and amazing speed. The college i got accepted to sends all incoming freshmen a iphone 3gs and are required to use it to keep in contact with professors.
Now that thats said i want to continue with whats the truth about the nexus.
1) i had a problem with the headphones along with alot of other people when listening to music threw your headphones that came with the nexus you would get a shock... for me it mostly happend when i was plugged into a computer
2) DUST...omg the dust i got under the corner of the screen was annoying the crap out of me. i couldnt get it sent back because i wanted to keep the engraving on the phone. and i didnt want to wait 2 weeks for them to send me my phone back.
3) the phones speed is AMAZING but i feel as if google hasnt completly utilized the speed and GPU yet. *if they can pull this off, things would be so much better than the iphone*
want to add other things about this phone *without being biased* ? go ahead lets see if we can get some good information in here for new android users

Non-biased my ass. The only thing the iPhone does better than the N1 is the app store. To say they need to work on their GPU is just a pathetic representation of a review...

THe headphones that come with the N1 doesn't work well on other standard 3.5mm jacks because the pins are specifically designed for the N1. Apparently if you insert the headphones into your computer half way it should work like normal headphones.

There was exactly no reason for the OP as he just stated a few well-known issues that people can experience with this phone. Every device has a its own set of issues and the OP will now be fortunate enough to experience the many IPhone problems.

i did use the stock headphones they actually were pretty decent almost up there with the apples iphone stock headphones.

People are growing tired of "it's okay, it's only the internet" as a justification for poor grammar and ill-written thoughts. It is also rather ironic that a person is off for higher education and is unable to use simple words correctly. Perhaps they should be handing out dictionaries and the like rather than iphones...

Your is a possessive term, where as you're is the conjugation of "you are". So in the future, make sure you check if your usage is right by replacing the term with "you are" and seeing if it makes sense to you.
Anyway dude...bro... you need to grow up and stop acting like an e-Gangsta. To be fair, nothing you posted is anything new. We've all heard it all before and so the thread is a flaming waste of space. That being said, good luck in college.
The phone has a powerful processor and an impressive amount of RAM. I dont think it uses either one nearly to its potential (at least i hope not), which is kind of cool because, although the phone is smooth and fast, the performance ought to be able to be vastly improved with software updates. I like the phone a lot but i also think its fair and justified to expect a lot more from it down the road.
If anyone that knows about hardware can confidently tell me not to expect much more from the device please post that information so that i may sell this phone. thanks

Jesus is a baller, lol, im still confused about this dust issue, does anyone have a picture of what this is all about? I got mine the day it launched and I have no idea what people are talking about I havent had any problems with dust and really cant see how it could get under the screen, I keep mine in my pocket every day so Im sure it woulda happened by now if it could. Id also have to agree that the only thing the iphone has is the app store, once androids gets up there it will be a lot better because there's a lot more potential. Id already have to say that handcent, dolphin, and google voice are good examples of that because apple only lets you use their stuff and blocks something if they already have an option is pretty wacksauce in my opinion, why not let the people choose which they like the best, makes no sense to me. Oh well. /rant

I've been checking out XDA since way back when I first got my FUZE. So much great info here. I rooted my FUZE and was very happy with the results. Now I'm enjoying the EVO. It's nice to see that there's at least 1 other girl on here! LOL.
My gf has a Evo too (She switched from a iPhone) and she is in love with Android and loves having her phone as she says "hacked" but we know as rooted. She doesn't know about XDA though, I just install the cool stuff for her

I don't believe that hacking phones is a "girly" thing to do. or is it? I do wonder about some of you guys though.....
Just like you wouldn't really expect alot of girls to be drag racing. There are a few. And these girls are one of a kind.
I don't mean to stereo-type any women here....but it has been my seeing that most women prefer more of a girly like life sytle.... very rarely have I ever met a women who care about how fast a phone is.. how many gigahertz it has, how much RAM or the difference in kernels or software let alone all the technical b.s. we throw in between. But it is nice to see them around. For example... I serve the country in uniform, and while yes they are here in uniform. They don't much care for technical details of there job. They just show up and do what is asked of them. Nothing more. And again while most are wrapped up with clubs and fashion and what have you there is a small handful of them that do surprise us.... glad to see at least there are surprises here.

Seriously, even more that video seems to be from Argentina, the SGS2 costs about 600 UsD here now and with data plans it could be around 450-500usd.
The phone is rooted... they must have stolen it or.. the girl at the end call the phone "Galaxy SS" Oh dude. So stupid people.

I also think it was stolen or at the best there were some unrecoverable issues. I think those guys were trying to earn some profit with that video. Maybe they even did.

ive seen more terrible videos than this but the bottom line is if u wanna break any thing u can nothing here is undestructable....ive seen really some phones giving scratches and minor cracks at a accident drop...so if ur phone has to break ,it will or ur too lucky...
