this move from yellow to white-maroonish is killing my eyes, but I'll get used to it as I originally got used to all that yellow

Guys I need your help here can u guys direct me or give me your input!! I purchased the tab to use for work and sum times i need to take pictures and the pictures have to have the time stamp on the bottom and the tab doesnt have that option for time stamp like my EVO how can i install the evo camera on my Gtab if possible or the will the epic camera apk work does it have a time stamp option?? Help!!!!!!!!

Try this. I've no idea if it will work or not. You won't be able to install the apk in the normal way but I'll leave it with you.

Ok how can i replace the stock camera app with this one, i have root explorer?

Will adb work in switching samsung apk with provided htccamera, even tho i really dont know how to use adb!!! That well Somebody help!!!!!!!!!!!!

that camera app is not going to work. I believe the app vignette has that option -- if not try looking around the market at retrocamera, fxcamera, etc.
You cant use HTC .apks because they are from Sense.

I just used that app and even tho its way better then stock...thanks!!! It has no time stamp in free version do you know for sure I would buy if it did..

No body else can help????????????

There is always contact info at the bottom of the page for each app... so contact each one to ask about the date stamp.
I'm sure one of them has it.
Also, the only thing I found that has the date and time... is when the photos get saved and you look at them in the gallery, in the lower right there is menu, and then details... and in there the date and time are saved... and in fact the title of each image is its date and time... so I don't know if just organizing your photos by the titles would work? There is supposed to be a new photoshop app... so it would take a little extra time, but by using the date/time in the gallery images, you could put them on the photos.
Otherwise... contact the app developers. Also... it might help if you posted a more description title in a new post... something like ... need camera app or apk with date stamp .....just a thought. Good luck.

I thought about the photo shop app myself imma check it out, I Brought the paid version and emailed the developer also he said its in the works?? IM SURE! But my evo had it in the camera..Idont understand why i just cant swap with alittle permission changes??

The EVO camera app relies on the HTC frameworks which are obviously not part of the Android build for the Tab, so you can't just take the HTC camera from the Evo and run it on the Tab.

i got the link in a message and picked t-mobile then it said there are no games available for your mobile

its not working for me I get the text I click it and it says click my carrier I do and it says no downloads are available.

open up your browser. now, type “about:debug” and hit go. click “Settings”, and scroll on down to the bottom to reveal the “UAString”.
you now change your user agent string — the bit of info that tells a website what type of device you are running — to “froyo-n1”.

Anybody wanna share the link they receive by text message or the direct download link that the OP mentioned ? I am not receiving the text lol

That link didnt work for me gave me another error.

Update: that link got me a version of Hero of Sparta and it runs smoothly however there is no sound coming out of the speakers at all (I obviously checked the volume rockers lol) The Media Volume is crossed out.
I had asked them for a Nexus One apk so that might be the reason, already put another request for a Galaxy S apk letting them know I have a Nexus S we will see what they say

So I asked for a Samsung Galaxy Vibrant link then for my "other phone"

Some of the ROMS have "smart alarm"

However the new EC05 one I have doesn't. Does anyone know where to get that feature? I've looked in the market place but the "smart" alarms in there are not what I'm looking for, they try to guess when you are just finishing a dream cycle.
I'm looking for the one that starts 5 mins before you set it and it turns the screen on very dim, then brighter as time goes by. It also has nice soothing music that starts out low and gets louder.
Thanks for any help in figuring out how to get this back !

I believe you are looking for stock clock app from stock froyo rom.
You can find it on stockapps provided by ACS SRF thread in dev section.
Its on the 2nd thready I think.

since U asked = how about the winning Lotto numbers ?

The install scripts usually run device specific mount commands. Replace it into a flashable zip for ur device and it should work fine.
