Dear friends!
please let me know:
1- How many percent of all android games/apps can be installed on HD2?
2- Do all android games run smoothly on HD2?

All the games ive installed are working on the HD2, and ive tried quite a few. HD games lag a bit in gingerbread roms but in ICS roms, there is no issue. You should try it out yourself

I can add that you can install all games and apps (99% at least). Just rename your phone in build.prop with model which have similar hardware configuration.

As I understood, almost all android games can be installed on Hd2. (except tegra3 games)
That's great!

for that 1% that google play restricts you to download you could use a little workaround: try googling codekiem+apk-downloader

Hi,
Is there a place I can download any of the Desire HD apps like the Reader, car Panel, HTC Like, etc.. that have been stripped from the HD ROM ?
I've tried the HD ROM itself, but the camera app doesn't work for the standard Desire, so I would prefer to wait until everything is fixed until I use that ROM. Until that happens.
Thanks
I don't get it, so why do you need the apps from Desire HD?...
Anyways, you can download a Desire HD ROM and open it with WinRAR and export the apk files from there.
You cant install them onto non HD roms so dont waste tour time if you plan to.

HTC Likes and the EReader are some nice apps. But the Desire HD Rom doesnt runs perfect.
So why dont build a normal Desire ROM with some Desire HD Apps.

Thanks. That's what I read somewhere. I thought maybe someone has managed to port the apps to the regular HD and uploaded them somewhere.

Android 2.2 is the version
FRX04 is a build name
I reccomend to try xdandroid frx04 as is stable and it's a nice start for beginners
I installed fx04 today and it seems decent! It's android ver 2.2.1 also. It is pretty easy to install... I just need to either get used to the button layout or change it...

Yeh thanks but I already found it. Ive installed froyox , ive don’t the calibration but after the setup there’s a black screen for some reason, the touch buttons on the back of the phone vibrate when pressed, I reset my phone after the screen remained black for 2 mins. Is this supposed to happen, what do I do?
Friend had problems installing today. Tried formatting and eventually cleaning the SD card (with a soft dry cloth) and then it worked... strange!

Help.
market.android has something like an history than a real time status ... i uninstalled a lot of apps, but they are still in my list

I've tried it multiple times on both desire and desire hd using different roms for phone and rom slots and it's failed EVERY time. Not one single time has it worked as advertised. Super buggy.

Hey buddy .. you must be doing something wrong .. check the tutorial video..
the roms lags a little if more resources are running
it doesn't means that its super buggy
follow the video guide and you must not face any problems then

Search on Google for boot manager boot.img failed to flash. See the mass amount of users with problems using this app. Different devices, users, forums. It's definitely buggy. I've tried all the "fixes" but to no avail. Gave up and uninstalled it. I try re installing every few updates but I've given up hope and moved on.
This error besides the tons of other problems with having to use certain roms as phone roms, others will not work etc. The list goes on. Great concept, poor execution.

Maybe sd card issue? Try a different one. Also make sure it is a fast card, at least class 10 otherwise it will really lag.

I've tried at least 3 different ones. The one I'm using right now is class ten. I'm not even able to get a rom to boot so sd card speed is still a few steps ahead of the game.
Believe me I'd love to be running ice cold and jellytime on my phone  but me and bootmanager have been through 2 phones 3 sd card probably 7 or 8 roms, tried different versions from the time they released it as beta and never had success
