Help me remove flash counter & triangle without jig from LPY ics rooted - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 General

Hi all,
I have been trying to find a way to get rid of flash counter and triangle without jig while on LPY ics rooted with speedmod kernel after reviving my note from supebrick with help of hg42. Can anyone kindly advise of steps. Thanks in advance!

you have to use other kernels to do that: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1354888

Thanks but looking without jig.

in your place i would flash DAFUQ kernel, use triangle away app, flash back speedmod kernel ;D

I have triangle away app but doesn't work at the moment...it says I am not on ics for some reason. U think it would be different with DAFUQ kernel?

Mate, if you need to create an entire thread to ask how to install it, cm7 is definitely not for you.

Agreed. Remember, if you're careless, undereducated, or simply don't know what you're doing when you're flashing firmwares, you risk ruining your phone. I would recommend getting some terms, definitions, and generally wrapping your head around some of the ideas here before you even attempt to start doing it yourself.
There are plenty of tutorials. Start reading!

I'm sorry mate, but the instructions in the first post of cm7 thread are VERY clear. If you can't understand them, you should not be flashing the rom - you stand a good chance of knackering your device. Only trying to help.

I want CWM 5.8.x.x

It looks awesome, I've been sick of clicking the physical buttons over and over for a LONG time now. I know that there have been touchscreen driver improvements for use with 5.8+ and cm9, but what is the likelihood of us actually getting it? I really hope someone can make it work, I would be very thankful!

The touch screen cwm? Actually well get it once koush is finished. Our cm9 isn't buggy so it should work fine.
Sent from my Samsung Epic using CM9!
Yep it's being worked on. Koush said it was buggy and unreleasable. Though that was like a month and a half ago.
And we can support it after they fixed the touch drivers.
Ballin. Can't wait!

Cant you just flash the recovery zip?
Sent from my GT-P7510 using XDA
And if that don't work flash cm9. With nyan4.2 with it baked in then flash back to cm7 and check to have the recovery reinject itself after flashing the rom... then you will have that recovery on cm7... worked for peoples rom! Just note that flashing another kernel overwrites it unless you remember to inject it after flashing... cwm backups are not compatible with twrp

Honestly I don't know for sure, I can't think of anything that it would bork. Reboot recovery is now linked to the proper partition so that should work fine, I'm gonna flash the AOKP 34 here in a bit and then I'll see if just flashing the recovery zip works.

What kernel are you using with lpy?

Just wondered what kernel people are using with lpy. I want to start flashing some theme zips etc but dont wanna brick. Are there any that work? And are they safe to flash zips etc
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
if u wanna risk the superbrick .. go ahead ... it doesnt matter what kernel u are using ... cwm flashing either wipe or install zip is not recommended at all
Isnt that just with the leaked/lpy kernels? I thought the ones written from source were safe?
