Are you knowledgeable about adb? If not, search for a one click method, read all the directions, and read the comments the see what people are saying. Google/xda search/look in the forums for "one click xoom root"

If you want your Xoom to be rooted, you really need to learn a few basic skills, because you will need them again, eventually. After updating my SGS2 to ICS I spend hours for searching USB-drivers-only-package for ICS.
I hate software-overhead like Kies. So I extracted the USB-Driver-Package.

Don't know but these drivers should work on x64 too.
I only found one version of Kies. No special x64 build.

Its beta and no drivers built for it .
These are not ICS drivers just standard USB drivers for all versions .

Thats right. The package contains the Samsung Drivera for all mobile phones. But older versions didnt work with ICS.

No. I had to install the new one. The older version I had was something with 1.3.x... i'm not sure if this is absolutely correct.

Any mirrors available? this is the most frustrating site ever to get a download if you dont have premium account and are forced on IE You get the popup saying allow the download, select it, and then every attemtp to download after that says you're at your limit! Want to get USB on my work PC, IE only, and can't install Kies lol

I know you will shout at me, but, according to pdadb, they actually have the same processor... I know I might be a stupid foool, but just hoping we can figure out something..
So we need the phone itself, we also need to find a way to root it, unlock and build a custom recovery.
All this just to download the ICS and obtain the libs.
Expecting two to five months...

EDIT:Here in post 2 there is a link to a system dump I suppose, but they say it is not possible to make it work

The system dump has been leaked last month. I even have one on my HD... You could too if you had bothered to search.

Yes i tried this Rom is awesome!!!!
Just one problem on 7.7.0 version i can't add access points in my p 3100.when i click to create new it takes of to wifi menu.
Any fix???
And why developer was banned???
I didn't found any paid app it Rom!!!

I guess they didn't credit pac-rom's code, i see that they do now. Yeah, i had to use a backup of 7.6.2 cause 7.7.0 was too buggy, random reboots and if i kept my tab in Landscape position wile it was booting it would boot loop, until it was in portrait, weird stuff.

hi im having trouble installing any roms above 4.1.2 jb or any kernel for my device. Iv tried all install methods possible.
Nothing seams to work for some un apparent reason.
I really dont know what els i can try to get my device working normally.

i totally disassembled my P705, had to change touch and display...
Non the less, i put every thing back together in the correct way, and my screen works just fine. But i still cant install any rom thats above 4.1.2
And i still have no idea why.
