I have been to PCWorld in Derby, Carphone Warehouse in Westfield and East Street, as well as the phone. Sadly, they all don't have store stocks of Galaxy Tab 2.
Phoned Watford where I will be visiting, they too have no stock. PCWorld are not even advertising the device. Any ideas what is going on with Samsung or their retail partners?

When I went to my local Best Buy they had a couple stacks of them. Just saying.
Same problem here, seen the 16GB tab 2 7 inch advertised on PC world website for £219. Was trying to decide whether to go for that or the 8GB one from car phone warehouse. Finally decided on the 16gig one and went to order it only to find no samsung tabs at all on the pc world site. I phoned thier customer service a few minutes ago and was told they had no stock at all and no idea when they will arrive. Must be an issue with samsung. I had read they had delayed issue to get ICS onto it, just hope this does not indicate some other more serious issues as i may contact carphone warehouse and settle for the 8 gig one, if they still have it.
If you dont mind using a seperate sd card the 8GB from CPW would be fine. I have the Tab 10.1 and bought my fiance the Tab 2 7 8GB and for all that you can really use a 7" screen for the 8GB is enough for her. If not I am sure I seen someone post about using a 32GB class 10 card to upgade memory.

I have the tab2 7.0 and just put in a class 10 32gb microsd
Finally bought one in Harrow at CPW.
This is the first time I have travelled for miles and miles to buy a mobile device.
I am now looking for a screen protector.

Costco carried this 32Gigs on there web site. My local store in CT said they will getting it tomorrow. FYI!!
nice price at costco, if it wasn't for the fact that i used a few gift cards to get mine, cheap, i'd definitely would jump on that for the extra 16GB

Damn... if only I could of waited a few more weeks.
Many thanks for this thread. I was ready to go to Best Buy today. Checked my local Costco and they had 18 of the 32gb. Came with a case and the mini-HDMI to regular HDMI connector. Don't know if the 16gb comes with those things, but 32gb for $479 was a great deal.
Loving the tablet so far. I'll start messing with it in a few days.
Thanks again!
oooh I think I'll buy this one and return the one from Best Buy!

Oh Yeah!!! I ended up buying one 32GB. Came with Mini-HDMI and Acer's case ($39.99 value) for $479.99. It was a GREAT GREAT deal!!!!
Beware... I believe the 32gb version does NOT have a GPS.... although the GPS doesn't work on many of the 16 gb versions anyway....
gps ok
I purchased one of these at Costco today.. It does have a GPS, and it worked--unlike the 16 gb version where the GPS did not work...
What are you guys talking about? The 32 gig DOES have GPS and does work.
It's just abit not that 'advanced' hopefully Acer will fix this soon, but if you download a couple of free GPS programs at Market you can try and you'll see that works.
I cought 12 different satellites in my livingroom.
But the GPS in general does need improvement.
All the best

2 posts--this being one of them--and this is what you spew?
Hmmm...
mine is 32gb and have gps
That sounds like a great deal on the 32GB version. Not sure why people suggest the GPS doesn't work correctly. I have the 16GB version and don't have any issue with using it. Of course I actually download apps that utilize it and do something more than holding the unit up to the sky looking for a magic satellite, so maybe that's the difference
Thank you very much for this information. I just returned my 16GB to Target and I bought the 32GB from Costco. Great deal. Thanks.
Dr. Sam
I just found out that this 32GB has the initial version 3.01. I am unable to update it to the new release version 1.14 which has corporate exchange mail and fixed several problems.
Every time I check for update, I get a message that my device is up-to-date. Did any of Costco 32GB users have this problem? Thanks.
Just picked one up from Costco, and returning my 16gb to bestbuy.
Will say, perhaps it was manufactured later? But the Costco one seems to be less problematic than my 16gb from bestbuy.
Hasn't randomly rebooted once.... wifi stays connected.... no shutdowns when charging and on standby.

Hello,
Could you please post your tablet information to compare it with mine from Costco. Thanks.
Just so you guys know bestbuy will match any local prices even after you buy it as long as your still in your return period.

Yes. It costs you $50 plus tax a year.
Find some that have a membership there. That's what I did. Me and my boss...with her fine as$ going after work today. I took back my 16gb I got from Best Buy today.
I've had a zero-problem, trouble-free 16GB N7 with great battery life that I bought in late July and started using in earnest at the beginning of Sptember. But I've got a friend who might want to buy this one and let me upgrade to a new 32GB. So that leads me to three questions...
1) Is there a risk of getting a new "problematic" N7 and is it worth it?
2) Would you get the mobile data version?
3) How much would you sell the 16GB N7 (with a 2yr squaretrade warranty on it)?
Thanks!
I was under the impression the new 32GB Nexus 7 was a more reliable build and actually a little faster. I'd upgrade in a heart beat. You will lose money on your 16GB though. I imagine less than $170 or they might as well get it brand new for $200 and that's if they are too lazy to find a deal this holiday season.

1) There's always risk. Mine came without and problems, I'm sure the issues are fixed by now.
2) What do you care if we'd get it? Do you need it?
3) sqaretrade warranty is useless to me (I don't even know what it is), I'd buy a used one for half the price of new one.
I'd say that 16GB to 32GB w/o mobile data is just a minnor upgrade. So from my point of view, get 3G version or stay with your current trouble-free 16GB.

I agree with this one...
If you have another Nexus device it is easier and cheaper to just tether then have to buy the 3G version unless its cheap to add to your existing plan.. Then it would be a good buy. What I do is save my tether settings to the N7 and whenever my Galaxy Nexus has tethering enabled the N7 connects automatically without any issue and it takes only a few seconds to toggle.
That said if you have a trouble free model and you don't worry about space then stick with what you got.. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth, a lot of us had to go through a few models before getting a trouble free one.

Well, I wasn't going to entertain it, but I looked at my space and, only 3 months into using this thing, I'm down to 4GB of space. I'm not real keen on OTG or messing with that, so, witha lump in my throat, I'm gonna take the plunge and go for the 32GB version. Since I've got tethering capabilities on my cell, I'm not gonna go for the 3g version.
Thanks for the feedback everyone. Now it's just a matter of keeping my fingers crossed, I guess.
My 32gb is perfect. It was an October release. My 16gb got stolen the day before OfficeMax started selling them. Funny cause I actually bought a 16gb and got home, set it up, jumped on XDA and seen the 32gb at OfficeMax. Called my local store and had them hold one.
Picked up my 32gb and returned the 16gb.
16 is OK but I like to throw games on there. I was hitting my Max and started having to uninstall some to play others. Plus my 16gb was stolen so the answer was easy. $250 for 16gb or 32gb... toughie

Hi all. Just a FYI, if you just bought your tablet or are thinking about getting one, GameStop is selling the 32GB for $299. I bought mine a couple of weeks ago from Best Buy and was able to get $50 back.
I'm not sure how long the GameStop sale is, possibly through tomorrow, but if you bought in the past few weeks in store it might be worth heading to the retailer and asking for a price match.
Here's the link, just showed it to the guy at the Customer Service counter.

If you're planning on gaming, get the 32. Batman is 2gb, GTA 1gb, Modern Combat 2 GB. The files need to go on the internal storage.
I've had mine less than a week and have about 9gb left on the internal storage.

No harm in trying. They do need a scan or photo of proof of purchase.
Bit of a kick in the balls for early adopters...
I know basically everyone who wants a 2013 Nexus 7 probably has one by now, but just thought this was worth letting everyone know about. O2 sell the Wi-Fi version of the tablet next to the LTE model. They don't specify a capacity on the website, so I assumed I'd be getting a 16GB model. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that they delivered a 32GB Nexus to me! Worth knowing about if you're thinking of picking one up.
Wow thats a no brainer
The back of my Nexus 7 has a fairly long crack and its sad that i can't find anywhere to replace it
I ordered an unopened new 16GB for £120 from ebay the other day, it's too late for me to return it as it wont be here for another 10 days or so (coming from America) ah well haha
