Can someone upload wpa_supplicant - Xperia Arc General

I tried to get ad hoc for my Arc S with ICS 4.0.3. I replaced the original wpa_supplicant and now my wi-fi isn't working. Can someone upload it because I don't have time to repair with SEUS.

Here you are.

Why not use a Mifi or a Huawei E5830?
Or if you have already an Android 2.2 Phone, use Wifi Tethering?
Hello
My experience :
First : same problem : my tablet don't want to connect with my HD2 (Rom WM NRGZ), while my laptop can do.
But today I show my Iconia 500 to my work, and a friend with her HTC Desire HD with Android custom ROM and wifi tethering connect it without problem...
But it's not a USB modem it's wifi tethering (I'm probably off topic ?)

Hi
I've the same combination (iconia-hd2 wm) and wrestled quite a while to tether in windows mobile. Tried numerous wpa-supplicants and tetherprogs but none worked. The solution.......change your HD2 from windows to Android. I've CyanogenMod Android 2.2. (search in HD2 forum) I can dual boot but so satisfied with Android that i keep it running continuous. Tethering the Iconia.........just start "wireless tethering" in Android, connect and ready.

Thanks, that worked for me.
I have a ZTE 3G USB.
Also tried tethering with a Galaxy S, also that works.
Just follow the steps from the post, and it should work.

WiFi
I don't think it will work with USB..at least I didn't find a way to do this with my PC
Not to be completely annoying, but the [DEV] thread is for someone who knows their way around. If anyone could post a dummy's step-by-step it would be a huge help for noobie android enthusiasts.

Hmm, okay can you tether or access other wifi networks? It appears to be working on your phone, considering its showing the network and attempting to connect, might be something with the router and your phone specifically. Try flashing another ROM and testing that out too.
EDIT: Are you 100% certain you are entering the correct password for your security? Youd be surprised how many times people (including myself) have entered the wrong password

a2sd shouldnt matter nor should clk or magldr, as wifi is the same setup for both. But good thoughts! Gives people something to brainstorm about!

Thanks! Was just about to recommend this. At least we have narrowed it down to a problem with the ROM

In some countries wi-fi doesn't work when you have ICS, it's something related to the sim card in those counties,
you can use Wifix to solve this problem easily

I'm in the exact same boat. If you find a wpa_supplicant file that supports ad hoc w/o breaking wifi PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE share. I'll do the same.
Good luck! :fingers-crossed:
