So far nobody in the world has succeeded to make a custom rom for Lenovo Lephone? Because I don't how to search in chinese.
Well they managed to root it but there is not recovery such as Nandroid yet and the update mode uses a folder, not an update.zip.
So right now only version of the firmware leaked by Lenovo staff can arrive...
What a pity. Any sign of enhancement in the process? I'm not patient :-(

Did you change anything in your phone or you've kept it as after the purchase?
For market, you can download some chinese apks that basically recreate another market. but its all in chinese... PM me if you want me to send it to you, there is a lot of warez on Chinese website so it wouldnt be appropriate to send it publicly on XDA...

there is a firmware that did come out with the official android market. im using it right now and it works like a charm.

to flash the firmware, u make a folder on ur memstick called

u put the system.img along with everything else that uve downloaded and flash it like that

Hey all am a new android user.... i just put hands on xperia x10 bought it yesterday !dont have any before experience in adnroid! i spent last 3 hours rooting ....installing busybox ....emulators everything i successfully made BT5 boot up....depend on anantshri he needs testers ! so am here ! sorry i made new thread cuz im new user cant post replay .....and new in this forum .....i have photos too how i boot it and everything ..

secondly i would suggest you to get involved with the community and read and react on what's there is general and Q&A section, you will soon be able to contribute on Dev section also.
I would prefer if we keep discussion in one thread so that everyone benefits.
as far as help i need is concerned,
I need someone to check which software can work which of them are causing problems. both at GUI and console level so that i can work on a customized image file containing only working software.
note : web/wpa cracking will not work so don't try that.

OK thanks for replay..... how i can test the tools ? most of them are about networking and pentration(am confused cuz it need an ip address wirless is not working nor i can plug a cable) ....can you tell me for example : tell me which software nd what do ? basically the command and i tell you the results ....
Hello everyone, and greetings from Uruguay. My name is Fernando and I am here looking for some little help, I hope you can help me out.
The subject I want help with is, how to install the Spanish language pack to have the phone completely in Spanish for a ZTE Open C smartphone upgraded to Android 4.4.2 using the Open C Upgrade Tool.
I haven't found the language pack by myself, what I found though, was an app that installs the language, but it requires root access and I have no idea about how to do that.
Another idea that I have is that there might be some package that may be installed using the Upgrade Tool, or maybe there's something else that may be done. I'm all too novice in the subject and I haven't had enough time to be better informed by myself, so, I hope that someone out there may be able to help.
If you require any extra information in order to help me out, I will be glad to be able to provide it to you.

1. I rooted my g928g around September 2015 and after that i didnt install any rom or anything like that...is there like a new software update i should install or something?
2. whenever i use freedom/lucky patcher my phone wont open any apps..happenend to me twice and ended up deleting my host file to resolve it..any idea why? or where can i find my host file again?

Aside from this, I saw a lot of fake websites offering custom roms for lollipop(the type you have to answer a survey). Are there any good custom roms for this phone?

I have the exact same doubt! My device (Huawei Y625 dual SIM) is lacking some functions (like make video with lenses on snapchat, and so on) apparently because the OS is Android Kitkat. How can I fix it? Help me please :fingers-crossed:
