I live in spain I wanted to order of of amazon(damm you guys have cheap stuff) would anyone recommend amazon? Experiences?
They're about 400€ a pop.

Browsing, books, videos the usual crap...
I dislike apple in general(read:hate with a passion) only they can charge 40bucks for a friggin sheet of plastic) and I can't think what I'll use It for other than games I have a ps3 for that...
I put it on the list mainly for.......yeah I got nothing... forget it change it for like the acer iconia tab

Well if those are my only options then I would choose the xoom but I'm biased. I own one. I think the Asus might be a good buy but seems doomed to fail with low stock. If you can possibly wait 2 months then you'll have more honeycomb tablet options. Google is rumoured to have a nexus tablet in the works, possibly from Toshiba and could be THE tablet!! But in the meantime, I'm absolutely loving my xoom.

There is speculation over that.
I liken the Xoom to Android Dev Phone 1, or the G1, same phone really.
In other words, we're the first - but not THE device of Google. Right now, it's the "Apple of Google's Eye" D) - for now.

(HC 3.2 tegra 2, 1 gb ram, 7 inch tab) Acer iconia A100 at 189 on black friday

Guys this 7 inch tab is the bomb. I have no idea why the dev section is so dead. Acer promised ICS official release on January as well.
Only downside is 3000mah battery which leads to around 5 hours usage.
1 gb ram, dual core tegra2, name it this tab has it. So if you are looking for something other than a nook color at value price this is it. all we need on this is dev community! (For instance I'd love cm7/miui option on it haha)
It is going to be available on bestbuy on black Friday. To all devs out there- BUY IT! lol
Also if anyone could be kind enough to pick one of these when they are picking one up for themselves and are willing to ship one to UK ill give you a big hug lol. Will pay obviously for the tab and shipping and a tenner as a thank you!

I just went and got one.... I got it from Walmart... they price matched the ad..... so just pull it up on your phone and show them!

Considering returning it..... I mean idle whats special about it... battery sucks.. plus I wish there was roms....what do you think

They did. Sale went live about 3:15am PST Thanksgiving day. It was still available on Friday for in-store pickup in some locations.

I bought it online from Best Buy for the $189 price on Thanksgiving day. Only a limited number of door buster items were only in store.

The BB near me also has a big stack of them. The current price for the skew is $10,000! That's how they're preventing early sales the manager said... He said check back Thursday, that's when he thought they'd be for sale. No price until then...

Official pricing for U.S wifi is $499 for 16 GB and $549 for 32 GB. Also says on BB website.

Too late to buy a nexus 7 ?

i know the nexus 7 only came out in june but do you think its to late to buy one because im thinking of grabing one tomorrow or should i wait till the next one comes out :/ ? any input would be appriciated

I would get one now, after all it hasn't been out for long. I would buy one now and enjoy what there is to offer at the present, if you keep waiting for the next piece of hardware you'll never enjoy and appreciate the current technology, and you can always sell it when the "next Nexus 7" is released.

The N7 is an excellent 7" tablet IMO. I'm extremely happy with it, and so is my gf's son who got one for his birthday.

I just picked one up about 2 weeks ago and I have zero regrets. It's a beast that handles anything I throw at it.

I went 16GB wifi because I have a 32 GB phone if I need it. However, Gamestop had a $50 off deal and there was only one 16GB available. Might need to go 32 regardless. Good buy though, I just got mine a couple days ago. I don't need a huge tablet, I wanted more of a reader and this blows the Kindle away.

OP Get the tablet you will not regret . But i recommend getting the 32 gb.. Get the gsm one if you can not tether it to your phone. other wise the wifi would be fine.. its what i have .. DO NOT LOOK BACK OR WAIT. the next best thing is the Nexus line..

You most definitely won't be sorry. I think if anything you were smart to wait since the 32gb was release and the 16 gb was dropped to $199.99.
A new nexus tablet probably won't come out at least for another 7 months anyway. Just enjoy the hell out of it.

I think you should go for a Wifi version if you already have a phone.
Since the next-gen Nexus is no way to come out soon, and new version changes nothing in performance but has 3g and more storage capacity, and the price of nexus 7 16gb wifi dropped. I think Nexus 7 16gb is the optimized choice atm.

I've had several devices, a few tablets. This device is flawless. I love it. I'm a little late to the party as well, but it doesn't matter, this device is awesome. Good luck and enjoy.

Wont Believe what happened paid for a 16gb version and they gave my a 32GB one so happy only cost me $244 (In Australia)

I paid £600 exactly in UK and it came with an hbh20 BT headset. Think there's a few more weeks til it's stateside, heard rumours about 11th October... They didn't officially announce it here at all, just turned up in stock on 11th and luckily I was keeping an eye out. Awesome phone, man, just awesome, hope you get yours soon, be good to have you on their forum.
The 6802 is available I think which is the 3g version.

The 6833 is on ebay for $710 usd, but the listings state the lte wont work in the usa. Ill have to look into it more.
Still worried about portability of it.

It will. It supports AT&T and T-Mobile's networks if I'm not mistaken. There's a discussion going on regarding this in the Ultra section (general). I'm on mobile, so links are a *****

Portability is better than I expected... It fits fine in trouser pockets. Very nice phone. Best to see it up close as it is a shock first time seeing it.
