Need to find a rom...

Hey everyone.
I am loving the Slidemeroot rom, but I've run into a problem.
I'm out of application space.
I want to find a A2SD capable rom that has all the features of Slidemeroot.
Tall order? Only inquiring if such a rom exists of course.
My sdcard is partitioned and waiting...

slidemeroot5r1 has a2sd =\

Cr ota full rom also has a2sd and is as close to stock with the latest ota updates.

read the thread, you have to go into a shell and enable it. it's disabled by default in the CR_OTA rom.

[Q] help me root my mt3g

please help me root my mt3g im currently running android version 2.2.1 and the build version is frg83d

There's plenty of instructions online... have you search?

you could try to search for an app called universal androot. hope that helps.

There are many tutorials online for mt3g.
Two of the best are Unlockr or Cyanogen's.

You may have to use the gold card method like I did, that's all included in the Unlockr tutorial.
Thanks to the Unlockr.com and the cyanogen team, great work guys.

I googled the Androot deal and found a QR code and using my barcode scanner and installed it that way. My phone is a mytouch 3g like yours so don't be confused that it says magic down there because I am using the CyanogenMod 6.1.0 rom from Rom Manager.

okay i got pass the downgrade and stuff im on 1.5 right now i installed the flash rec and all that but when its time for the phone to reboot after everything is done it gets stuck on the android boot screen

Okay ppl never mind i got it rooted i. Just want to thank u guys for all the help n support time to mess around with it !! peace oh wait what can i do with it now

Clockwork mod

Does this work on my evo shift I'm new to rooting well not new but I was a heavy rooter on my g1 but thing have changed so much I feel like a noob anyways can some one tell me if this is compatable with my shift??

Currently there is no official support for the Shift from Koush (the guy who does CWM). Apparently it is in the works however.
YOu can use ROM managers, but you can't use it to directly install a recovery. There are some hurdles to jump over and hoops to jump through in order to do that.
See this post for directions to use it to flash recovery (but this is only AFTER perm-rooting the phone)

Stock Rom

Hello, Can someone kindly direct me where to get a the stock rom for my UK note please as I need to send it back to wher eI bought it.
I currently have Rocket Rom on it and rooted. I have the app tools required just need pointing in the right direction.

Www.sammobile.com/firmware go there and download stock rom then flash it via pc odin.

Many Thanks ! went there and signed up and saw new roms. Trouble is the only rom I see for the 7000 is a T-Mobile Hungary one..... The Sam note I have is the network unlocked one bought from Amazon uk. Any ideas ? If I stick T-Mobile rom on it they may twig......

Sorry that was typing error as i was on move
I have amazon handset and stock rom is which i flashed the other night after tying ics and panicked cos my csc changed. .. Flash below with mobile odin and connect it to kies if it says no updates available instead of not recognised u have right one!

Dude, it worked like a charm. I had a logo loop on reboot but removed battery, cleared caches etc and reapplied the stock rom again and it worked fantastic. Item is winging it's way back as I type.
Awaiting a european replacement to arrive at £100 cheaper he-he (you know how it is, rip-off Britain). Now, if I can only for the life of me remember how the heck I rooted the Note to suprusr I'd be in my eliment ! memory loss comes with old age tfw.
