For a Fantastic Stable PHone With THe Best ROM - Galaxy S II General

I decided to give you my experience with the installation Of The Most Fantastic ROM and the steps followed by the might be useful:
First : take all your data from both internal and external SD in a save place . i use mybackup pro ( the best ) .
Second : wipe every thing .
Third : flash Official XXLPQ with odin . Only PDA + Modem .
Fourth : Flash the Rom with « Extended steps to install the ROM :
Reboot into recovery
Wipe Data / Factory Reset
Wipe Cache Partition
Install the Main ROM
In recovery go to Advanced
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Fix Permissions
Wipe Cache Partition
Reboot
If at the first boot you can't do the configuration of the google account, skip this step and continue
When you boot into the system, it's probably that you don't have data enabled (3g, H+) just reboot
When you boot again into the system the data will be enable and you can do the configuration of Google Account (if you don't do this before)
This is the moment for install all the extras like themes, fix's, kernels, etc.
Enjoy!!!
After this you will not meet a single problem .

You don't know what your talking about. You have come to the android development! Development being the key word here! And made a thread about how to flash a rom... you can share this is in the westcrip thread... now my point is clear! --_--.

Disagree.
You have taken basic flashing instructions which can be found in any ROM thread and created a new (irrelevant) thread in the wrong forum.
Please take the time to read the forum rules and guidelines of how to correctly utilise the development forums.

Yes, but next time please ask questions like this in the thread for the rom that you want to switch to as this question did not warrant the starting of a new thread! We already have way to many threads like this cluttering up the forums!

ok sorry. So all I do is boot into recover and wipe cache then install?

For me I leave it on charge and at 100% I boot into recovery wipe cache, devlik cache, then factory reset but you may get buy without having to do factory reset since although different it still is cm 7 but if you don't factory reset and it won't boot do a factory reset then it should boot

It does support them but not as a blur rom does cm7 puts internal under mnt/emmc and I think miui best I remember is the opposite. But mods can be done to switch them.

[Q] How to Upgrade

Hi I have one doubt in upgrade.
If I installed any one ICS build after that how can I upgrade to next build without flash?
Is it possible...
Sent from my MB525 using XDA
Put the new build.zip in your sd, reboot the phone, blue light and stock recovery...
It's pretty intuitive then.
This is also similar to flash...I know this one other method? Becoz every time have to install software

You dont need to do a wipe!!
I made a How To on the bugreport/questions thread... read that...(That is the only way!)
And Huge thanks for making this thread in dev section! really appreciate what u did!!
Sent from my MB525 using xda premium
Questions do not go in the Dev section
Thanks for your support
So No NEED TO WIPE data and cache? Am i right?
So no need to install applications again?
Wipe cache and dalvik cache but not data, and u keep your apps.

Chinese links are generally painfully slow so maybe we should be grateful for choice of links. Nice video too BTW.
I didnt like this rom much and anyway I dont like iOS much...
But anyway, nice review!

Try clearing phone.apk or contacts.apk data, then reboot. Doesn't work? Try on another device. Again, doesn't work? Well then help yourself

Because I use Touch recovery..it will not work on the other recoveries...
flash the recovery via Odin and Flash the ROM..
then you can flash back the other recovery on the top of it to have your backups..
[Edit] try it on your current recovery once..I think it will work as it uses Edify scripts..do let me know so that I can edit the OP

Why dont you try flashing a stock firmware via Odin first without bootloader checked and second time with bootloader option checked..then flash any other ROM..it is know to cure Wifi problems when moving with leaked JB ROMS..
WiFi is working just fine here
