Who else has one? Just about everyone who's been posting for the last 3 or so weeks...
Guys, please help
Owning a sgs 3, considering buying note 2
I've heard from different sites very different opinions about the screen. Now I think it's better to ask someone who owned both devices, since theoretically note 2 screen should be better.
Someone says that s3 screen is sharper, is it true? And how it's it with the text sharpness and whites in reality?

I replaced my Sprint Galaxy S3, which I purchased 3 mnths ago, with the Sprint Galaxy Note aka Phone-Zilla & I am ecstatic. Sure it was costly, but I am so happy with my decision to do so. You only live once!!

How many people think that the Note 2 battery could have been a little bit better? Perhaps 3300mah to 3500mah? Same as the Droid Razor Max HD which gets close to 24hr battery. The note 2 gets about 13-15.

Looks like she doesn't know that you can adjust the screen to "Natural" when she compares with iphone5

Most comparisons are odious since Nexus 4 has been in the hands of users for barely 2 weeks while millions of hands have cradled S3 for over 6 months now! A mere reading of the shipment thread under Nexus 4 general will show the longing for a pure google android experience. My prediction is that S3 will be left by the wayside soon.

2 weeks or 20 weeks, stock will remain stock all the end user needs is a phone with some great features whether its pure google or touchwiz or sense the care less about it. its the 10 to 20% of the enthusiast segment that analyses deep about os , oem skins and stuffs.

A Hummingbird

I was sitting on my porch, letting my dog walk on the yard when a hummingbird flew to our little feeder beside me. It scared me cause its wings are so loud, but when I noticed what it was, it immediately made me think of this special place. Little old Epic and its Hummingbird cpu. I don't frequent XDA anymore, but I miss the fun that we used to have right here.
I would've posted in the dedicated off topic thread, but I have the last post in there, didn't want to double post :/

Having this sort-of unstable LG Optimus G makes me actually miss and appreciate how well-built and stable 4.2.2 AOSP was for the Epic

Most definitely. But I don't tinker with it so much, much like my early days on XDA if anyone remembers that whole fiasco.
Its Stock MD4 4.1.2, rooted for adfree sake, and that's it.

That's what mine is still running... My daughter uses it as her personal gaming device now :thumbup::thumbup:
My brother is now using mine as of yesterday. His Evo Shift screen stopped working, and sliding the keyboard out produced a black screen.

Sold my Xperia Mini Pro yesterday, even though it was once #1 on my 2nd-hand item wishlist...
Epic is now an awkward device in my hand particularly because it's such a nice phone for cell calls and texting yet it's not a global phone (and I'm on China Mobile, GSM)... But being the 1st capable Android phone I've acquired, especially given how my bought-and-sold HTC Dream and Moto Milestone performed, Epic is always to stay beside my pillow for bedtime TWRP fun! Sure hope that would be how most E4Gs end their life...
And as of now, to be off-topic, T-Mo's Relay 4G is Epic's proper GSM sequel (current wishlist #1). While on Sprint there's only the Photon Q, and Verizon the age-old Droid 4. Again, so lucky of us to have one of the first (after HTC Dream, of course) 5-row QWERTY Android phone!

Where are you finding them? I've looked at several stores and can't find the android kit kat?

They are everywhere
I also have been looking all over for them last week. I think they start showing up in stores this week...at least in N Chicago where I live.
I did not really read through the rules last night. So I entered two codes (got two last night). The first one brought me $5 play credits. But apparently one can only play once a day. Not knowing if the second code can be used again or not, I went out to get 10 more and get ready to get fat
Good luck guys...The next thing I need is a good armband so I can run with my MOTO X...10 kitkat will definitely bring some extra stuff on me
I bought mine from Walmart and ya only one code per day

Best looking games

Saw a thread on another forum like this, but it didn't get much attention.
What games do you guys play that look amazing on the note 4? Dead Trigger 2 and Golfstar are two of my favorites that look great on this phone
