Hello xoomers.
Ever wanted to have an app in your xoom that converts your handwriting to amazing text typing??!! And with high hand writing recognition??!! Using your fingers or a stylus pen??!!
Well, the time of waiting is over
I have extracted the lenovo thinkpad tablet app called notes mobile and imported it into xoom. This should be a system app. However, to make your life easy, I packaged it into titanium backup file that you just need to import into your xoom to enjoy this app. No need anymore to go to recovery and flash it.
Installation instructions:
1) using titanium backup pro, just import the file.
2) choose restore app only.

Show me the love with thanks

Same here, yes I have TB Pro and running EOS nightly 4g, ICS 4.0.4
Hmmm. That is weird. I tested it though. Anyway,
Let me send you tonight a different way on installation through recovery.
I will upload the Meta INF and SYS files under a package. I will post the instructions how to install it. Hold on guys.
Anybody else have this issue?

Am having the same problem also..
When the tab tries to update samsung apps it downloads new versions of the samsungapps.apk and the samsungapps.una.apk to /data/apps folder. Both apps install manually but on launch samsung apps still wants to upodate the una.apk.
I assume its a r/w rights issue with the modaco rom but have so far failed in my attempts to sort it...
Hope someone has the answer to this!
Its your csc code.
i suggest you to not update samsung store, the new one is a mess... it says updates in all apps even if you don't have installed ones and the new layout is crap too.
Same problem here... :-(

Read this in a other thread on XDA. Did what it said and now i can update and have access to the new layout off samsung apps. I also have modacos rom and used root explorer to delete the file.

Is it in anyway possible to cook a file manager of some sort into one of the cm10/aosp/kang roms?

Having to do that every time I install a rom data allowance for some ppl is small.
Btw if you have nothing constructive to reply aside from calling ppl silly don't fing reply, keep your opinion to yourself.
It might be a 1mb install from the play store, therefore it'll make the rom 1mb bigger. Same thing.
Btw if you have nothing constructive to post on xda, don't start a silly thread.

use android injector to install the file manager apk from your pc... no need to waste your data.
Most Roms come with some sort of File Manager.
My Solution to your ( with a data restriction ) is a simple one. go into your current file explorer, navigate to Data/App and copy the apk of the file explorer you are using and put in on your ext sd.
Now you will NO LONGER have to download the app, just use the stock/provided explorer to install the one you would rather use.
almost 100% of custom roms have some sort of stock explorer to at least get that done.
hope that helps.

Or you could make a cwm flash able zip for titanium backup, so that when you flash a new rom you flash that zip as well and you can restore the browser/apps that you need
Titanium Backup has an option somewhere to make a flash able zip for you, look around the menus and you'll find it
I used to do this myself b4 I got a contract with more data per month
Hope this helps

I was taken to the google paly and there was a message that the lastest FLASH can NOT be installed on this device and I read that it is NOT support for OS over Ice Cream 4.0? Can some one tell me what I can do? Do I have to root to do this?

I did root my nexus 7 and I did install flash by sideloading...but I get a blue box sometimes and other times I get the message that I need to upgrade flash...I used Dolphin HD browser on the nextus and chrome and the same thing happens in both.
Somewhere I read something about renaming two files...don't remember where I read that or what two file. I do know I didn't do it because 1. I wasn't able at the time to find the files 2. it didn't say what to rename them????
Any suggestions on what I have to do...my nexus 7 is now updated to 4.1.2

.rar and .zip file needs to be extracted right?
You will need to extract the files, here are the instructions I put in my other post.
Put FaceLock.apk under /system/app
Put directory and file from addon.d.rar under /system.
Put the file in lib.rar under /system/lib
Put the files/directories from vendor.zip under /system/vendor
Reboot and you should then be able to setup Face Unlock under Device -> Lock Screen.
Okay here is a Link to FaceUnlock.zip
This can be installed using custom recovery.
Boot into recovery, install, restart phone and enjoy.
Hope this helps make things easier.

Download link works fine now, but the face unlock doesn't anymore, at least not on stock 4.4.2 (NF4) rooted w/ TWRP. The setup tutorial opens, but force closes once it comes time for the camera to open. I've tried clearing cache and dalvik afterwards but the result is the same.
