I would like to get an unbranded version but still with an Australian CSC.
Or alternatively I would like to know how to produce it. ie how to unbrand this version.

Whole branding is inside CSC part. So, u can use CSC from other closest version (CSC don't update much) or choose CSC from other country without branding. But still can use base (factoryfs.img) from LP8.

I have unpacked factoryfs.img, cache.img and hidden.img from XWLP7 and found that factoryfs.img has 2 csc files in it but nothing obvious in the other 2.
the 2 files were in an app folder and are CSC.apk and CSC.odex
I'm considering replacing them with 2 similar files from another release of ICS and seeing what happens when I repack the file and flash it.
Will next unpack a branded version and see what the differences are.

The only things worth to upgrade is the solve of wifi bug.

My phone's rom became 4.1.2 but KIES doesnt support anymore!!! So it means your sayings are not suitable for Turkey!

Y do you wait for a "India special" version, while there is nothing gonna be special about it... moreover jb 4.1 is only being released and not 4.2.... you people are waiting only for the outdated version.... Try cm10.1 if you want pure Android experience..... But if you still wanna tw based sammy ROM, try lsj... It's has got lot of mods to hv fun with...

Been using LSB for Middle East(UAE) for a while now. It is very stable and battery life is adequate. I am from the Philippines but now in the Middle East so I am sticking with it unless there is something on the Philippine fw that is worth the shift.
