I have a suspicion that Staples may have gotten the lion's share of the initial allotment. The BB in my town only has two in stock (one with my name on it) in preparation for today's opening. The two closest Staples (both in nearby towns, 30 miles away) each have 10 units....

Amazon probably got a lot too. It seems you can order from there and it doesn't have it listed out of stock yet. I placed and order there just now. If it ships before my bb order I'll just cancel the bb order.

It's more likely that they were camping all night for the 3DS. They probably don't even know what's the Xoom.

I just checked all the local stores and they are in stock. I think its only online orders. Drop by a bestbuy. I am also in the city.

I expect a total sell out in all stores 20 min. after they open! Most stores are reporting only 10 in stock xooms. I think Amazon got them all. I looked on E Bay this morning and I couldnt believe some are asking over $1000. for a 3G xoom!.

I was worried of a line so i just ordered from BB online and picked store pick up. Just got order ready email. To bad for anyone on a line when i get there and just walk right in to meet my Xoom

Turns out the guy who posted it said his local news said it was for the xoom and that they interviewed the people in line and said they were waiting for the xoom

Yeah the one by me has them.. But I have to wait now.. When I saw it was backordered I placed an order on amazon and chose 1 day shipping.. When I went back to cancel it so I could do an in store pick up I couldnt Amazon was already prepping to ship it I will have mine on tuesday
Then I'm going to see where I can get in the dev department with it.

Just picked mine up at 10:00 am from Best Buy in Milwaukee WI. I was the first and only one to in at that time to buy one. They had about 8 of them.

Nobody knows what the hell a Xoom is, that line was for the 3DS lulz.

I just got mine from my local best buy. They only had 2 in stock.

Agreed. Any "lines" in front of electronic stores today are for the 3DS, not the Xoom lol.

I don't see any exclusion for ipads. It only mentions the Nook, Kindle, and HP TouchPad in the mini-writing.

I dont think staples carries Ipads.

Ugh, I know the deals will be equally good at Xmas when my wife plans to get me one, but I want one.

I called all the stores and NONE of them have a Transformer, and they said they wouldn't have them for a month... bunch of BS, because this coupon will be expired then...

i wanted the asus transformer but staples does not carry them in store... so i tried to get best buy and frys to accept the coupon and they declined.

Im trying to get the Acer Iconia Tablet, there seems to be some great devs over there...
And so far, all the Staples are out of stock till wednesday around the Portland, OR, area. And Office depot said they would price match, but then they said they are all out of stock except for the floor models which they dont sell, and he said the same thing about the other stores in the area. Yeah right...
I'm going to keep trying....

I had one store actually refuse to honor the coupon. However, one not far away had the acer in stock. Ended up costing me 324 after tax. Not a bad deal.

I'm having trouble myself finding the transformer in stock. They all have xooms though

From what I know, in my area, they don't even carry the Transformer till sometime next month...
I plan on waiting till next week with this coupon and getting it when they have them in stock... At least the coupon has some time...
I might even pay at a kiosk in-store, where they would honor the coupon, and have them ship it to me for free when they do have it. That was one of the options that was given to me.
I'm pretty set on getting one...

Try Office Depot. While it appears that Office Depot Corporate sent out a memo today or late yesterday in regards to honoring this coupon only for the Blackberry Playbook, Thrive, and Iconia, some people have reported still being able to get a Transformer. *Note: Before the memo, plenty were able to score this deal on the Transformer (and some on the Xoom and Galaxy 10.1).
Since the Iconia and Transformer are the same price, couldn't you technically use the coupon on the Iconia and exchange it at a later date for the Transformer?

No it's not applicable to Nook and HP. it also in store only.

too bad they don't carry any 7" android tablets.. the 10" are too big for my uses.. and the woman wouldn't be happy with a 10" either.. The BB Playbook isn't even a viable option as far as I'm concerned...

Ordered my TF300 Last night!

Pretty Excited, Just ordered it lat night. Got it new for $340 I got it from Amazon, a reseller of theirs, with high ratings, over 4.7 Stars!
The interesting part its it was labeled as "Asus Transformer Tf300 T-b1-bl 10.1-inch 16 Gb Tablet" isn't the B1-BL a 32G?
Maybe ill get lucky and get the 32GB for 340, if not, no biggie..its still a good deal!
Maybe ASUS will unlock the boot loader by the time i get it??? HAHA...ok wishful thinking!

I got mine from there... I looked everywhere like 6 stores and they were like we only carry ipads and nooks...im like u guys suck then....so finally went to microcenter and they had it right there

Just picked the last one up from Canada computers in Hamilton. It's black instead of the brown that some people may have received. the guy working there said that they're getting more stock on Monday so you may be able to pick one up if you go into the store tomorrow. Ncix also should have orders for in store pickups starting Monday.

ordered 1 8GB and 1 16GB on June 27th from the google play store for a total of $544
CC not charged at the moment for this receipt from google, no emails since in regards to shipment or order
I've called around to many retailers and most are either unaware or not stocking the product, while only a handful are getting in shipments on Monday.
Not sure if its worth the hassle of buying a N7 in store on Monday and dealing with google to ship back one of the 2 that I ordered or if I should just wait, I feel frustrated that I went right to the source to place a pre-order for a product but retailers are selling it before I get any notice on when I'll get mine.. then I remember I live in a first world country and there are bigger injustices taking place around the globe.
Later I'll go have sex with my supermodel girlfriend on my yacht.

I placed my order on the 28th and have heard nothing. I'm a little bit peeved that stores are selling it before the preorders have gone out, but I suppose I'll live. I really hope I get that email on Monday telling me it's shipped.

Looks like they're phasing out on this model and yet, an acquaintance of mine spoke with Asus a few days ago and unsurprisingly, the rep denied ever hearing any defect or problem being the cause.

its just an old model, like the tf101 has been phased out.
asus is launching some new budget tablets, 7" and 10.1" so they dont want internal conflicts

There was a promotion at sears for a new tf300+keyboard $300 a while ago.

Got rid of an Acer A110 just too small for me, returned it to Best Buy, picking up an ASUS TF300TB1, and scored the keyboard for $49.00.

2 of the 3 stores in my area were out of them so i got lucky.

I would say thats a normal used/refurbished price. I dont see many of these actually getting any repairs asides maybe a cracked screen or something. I found one for 320 on ebay plus shipping used and hes sending both the Tablet + keyboard and some other accessories such as a sleeve, screen protector (still on the tablet) and some extra power usb cords. I get it today or tomorrow so im excited to play with it.

You could have gotten the Blue dock for $49.99 using the receipts from this thread. I originally paid $119 for mine at Office Depot. I took one of the receipts from this thread and Office Depot matched it and refunded me the difference.

As long as you're happy, that's all that matters. Lol, I was happy when I originally got mine for $119 instead of $149. Needless to say I was almost jumping for joy when they matched the price and gave me the difference back. Man, I smiled for hours.
