[Q] Only 11.5GB storage in brand new S2

Hi,
Just noticed that my brand new S2 is showing that it only has 11.5GB of free storage out of the box.
OK, I know that the OS and apps are going to take up about 2.5GB as, yes, I did read the FAQ at:

..but should I be losing 4.5GB on a brand new S2?

I have 11.50gb storage on mine plus 1.73gb available for apps and the rest is used by androids os.....

IMHO the developer would receive more feedback if they offer a lite/free version of the app.

but we need to manually set all info (As its not supported in auto config)
i do only know that it works and not fully supported

I do not know. I have not managed to get it to work. And if i do i will mail the dev, and write later

He told me that he have boot manager but he stuck at the manual selection
I told him to mail the question so he mail me this questions
what device do you have?
what is your sdcardblock?
what is your system size in mb?
what is your data size in mb?
what is your cache's size in mb?
so if we got the answer of this question may be we can also use bootmanager
so post the answer of question here I will told him and if he success then we can buy bootmanager

Saraansh9 is referring to the process in which z4root can unroot the phone
Combined with ur stock roms, if the phone gets spoilt, dell will never know it was rooted. So warranty not void

Like if I got my speaker messed up and need to use the guarantee
Btw these roms are not rooted so u don't need to unroot them

Hmm. Thats why i posted them here. I too had a problem and had to revert back to stock to give it in for warranty.

I have dell xcd35, facing issue with Wifi connectivity, i'm not sure if its hardware or software issue.
these are the details in about page.

I bought this from a friend of mine, i'm not sure if its modded firmware/kernel or not, so i like to try original settings first.
So how to i install it without custom recovery install? what tools to use it to flash this?

From the details given, it seems that you're running the stock rom and kernel. Therefore it must be a hardware issue

Go to the dell service centres. Tell them your issue. If its hardware they will probably replace the whole set so make a backup of all data. If its a software issue they'll sort it out then and there.

If your body is broken by you,you'd have to pay a small amount for it. Provided they have stock. I got my dell body replaced when I broke the screen and the plastic stuff around it recently. So yes.

Just use swap partition.. It creates a virtual ram that somewhat increases your ram... and you need a kernel that has swap support.

Which kernal has swap support?
